I paid $ 75 per night plus tax for my room after spending only $ 79 for one night at a Hilton Garden Inn. Where do I begin? My room had no refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker or wi-fi. The furniture was as old and worn as anything I have encountered in a remote cabin in Quebec. The bathroom was the size of four phone booths and the bottom eight inches of the shower curtain were mold-stained. I would have to say this place had about as much charm as an early Soviet-era gulag.

Shabby and worn down. Rate, with tax, s abouti $ 82. I was not impressed with this motel. There were stains on the carpet. Several plug sockets did not work, resulting the lamps plugged into them also being useless. The towels were clean, and I *think* the bed linens were clean, but I found a hair or two in the sheets. Otherwise clean. My TV did not work. I wish there was internet access as well. The lock to the front door was very simple and there was no deadbolt. The hanging shades to the window leading to the hall/balcony was missing one shade on the edge, making it easy for outsiders to look in. There is a dive bar on the bottom level(of two levels) that is opened at night. There is also NO lighting on the outside balcony walkway, which is dangerous if you’re coming or going at night(honestly — it’s pitch black). I would recommend staying elsewhere, although options in the area are limited. OK if you are not spending much time in your room.
