Sparkle Floors and Carpet

Peter helped us pick out a carpet that matched our room beautifully. The quality of the carpet for the price we paid was more that we expected. The installation was done when scheduled and the installers did a great job and were very neat. They made sure everything was perfect and cleaned before they left and Peter came by to make sure we were happy. I would definitely buy from them again.

We’ve hired Peter and Sparkle Me Clean twice now. He shows up on time, responds well when contacted, has competitive quotes, works efficiently and cleanly, and does a great job. He’s been very good about working us in to his tight schedule the best he can when we’ve called.
We’ve had him sand/​strip some plank wood floors and seal them with only their natural color. We’ve also had him sand, stain, and seal a parquet floor. Both jobs have received many compliments.
We have no reservations recommending him to both family and friends. He’s the first one on our list to call when we decide to finish some more rooms!

Peter and his team are phenomenal. They have now done two separate projects in the house in the past two years. The first required them to lay one floor and then refinish another. The price was right and the work was well done. They even got interrupted by «Snowtober» and we’re able to complete things regardless of the setbacks. The second job was just last week and had Peter and team refinish two more floors, troubleshoot a few setbacks including trashed stairs that were hidden by a carpet or years and merge the finish of two different woods and stains so you wouldn’t otherwise know the difference. All awesome work. Super professional. Nice guys all around. They easily get my recommendation for any job.

Peter and his team did an excellent job on the hardwood floors in our home. They did the entire upstairs, staircase, and main floor levels. The work was clean, meticulous, and the outcome looks great. Compliments from everyone who sees them. We had seen his work at a friend’s home several years ago and asked for the reference when we were ready to take the plunge and re-​do ours. Very happy with the results, would use again in a heartbeat.

We recently hired Peter to refinish the 1^st and 2^nd floors of our home in South Orange. What sold me on them was having the opportunity to see their work first hand before hiring them. His Crew was very professional and did an excellent job with the floors. The floors look great and we are very happy with the results. They were very flexible with our schedules and completed the job in 2 phases to allow us to shuffle our furniture around. The dust-​free system was especially important because we have 2 young children. It was fantastic and worked even better than we expected.

A close friend of mine referred Peter to me after I purchased a new home. My wife was 38 weeks pregnant and getting the home ready for our son in time was crucial. Not only did Peter do a phenomenal job, but he squeezed us into his very busy schedule so that our home could be ready for when the baby came.
Regarding his work, he did an A+ job refinishing my hardwood floors in my dining and living room. When I purchased the home, the floors were an absolute disaster; holes in the wood, worn down so badly it was no longer level. After a day and a half with them, Peter made them look like BETTER than new. On top of that he shampooed my carpets in my basement transforming that into a brand new room as well. The product he uses for the floors was a water base, and the equipment is dust free. These two factors were very important, especially with my pregnant wife, but pregnant wife or not you can still enjoy the rest of your home while Peter works because of this.
Truly top notch work, at very competitive pricing. Would, and have, recommend him to friends and family.

Peter sanded and refinished my apartment hardwood floors about 10 months ago in Millburn, NJ. I couldn’t believe the difference between the nasty, old, worn out carpet that was here when I first moved in compared to the fresh and cleanliness of these beautiful hardwood floors! They are still in fantastic shape and I get compliments pretty much anytime someone new steps into my apartment. As far as Peter’s workmanship: I couldn’t have asked for a better, more honest contractor. I trusted him and his professionalism along with his dedicated crew in my apartment while I was at work, and to come home to a dust free apartment was another added plus! The dust free system is certainly worth the added value tenfold.
