Established in 1986.

Formed in 1986 by Scotia native Frank Francisco and his wife, Windswept Chimney Service has invested much time into education so we can offer the best to our customers. We serve the Capital District area.

Business Owner

I was a career firefighter in the US Navy and a volunteer fireman in the 80’s and 90’s with local fire departments. I found there was a need to try and prevent chimney fires and sought out education in this field. I have since been Certified by the Chimney Safety Institute of America and have been a past member of the National Chimney Sweep Guild and currently am a member (and Ex-​Officio President, Vice President and Treasurer) of the New York State Chimney Sweep Guild. My wife and I have proudly run this business since 1986.
