Our very unique museum and gallery has an extensive collection of real Kansas fossils, paintings by Chuck Bonner, and a very cool nature based gift shop with all sorts of fossils, minerals, gift items, and t-​shirts for sale.

Our 1916 native stone building is one of the few remaining historic structures left in this area. We are «sandwiches» between Lake Scott State Park and Monument Rocks right off of US Highway 83.

History

Established in 1991.

Keystone Gallery started business in 1991 because we are located between Lake Scott State Park and Monument Rocks. Our building is one of the only locally quarried limestone building left in our area.

We are an art gallery and fossil museum with one great gift shop too. Chuck and Barbara are internationally known paleontologists and known for our Kansas fossils which we have many on display. Stop by — you will be surprised! (that’s a quote from our «customers».

Business Owner

Chuck Bonner is well reknown for his Kansas fossil finds. He found the pleisosaur with a fetus inside on display in LA, Bonnerichthys (named for him) the biggest species in the Western Interior Seaway, plus his paintings. His father, Marion, started hunting fossils in 1925.
