Comprehensive dental care. We offer: teeth whitening, cleanings, root canals, periodontal care, clear braces, crowns, dentures, bridges, implants, veneers, extractions, bisphenol free fillings, digital x-​ray imaging, intraoral photography, night guards, oral cancer screening, pediatric care, sedation dentistry, and snoring/​sleep apnea treatment.

We accept all dental insurances that allow you to go to the dentist of your choice. This includes most delta dental and other dental PPO’s. Treatment plans and estimated costs are presented prior to any dental procedures. Office manager, Antoinette Torres has over 10 years experience in assisting patients with insurance benefit estimates and claims. Payment plans are available, interest free for a defined period of time, upon establishment of a returning patient relationship.

Business Owner

Dr. McGraw is a Santa Cruz native and graduate of Santa Cruz High. Dr. McGraw attended the University of California, Los Angeles and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. While attending UCLA and later, UCSF, he worked as a lifeguard and emergency medical technician in Los Angeles and for the City of Santa Cruz Lifeguard Service. Following UCLA, Dr. McGraw graduated with degrees in Dental Sciences and Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of California, San Francisco. He has completed additional training at UCLA in dental implant surgery and restoration and regularly attends continuing education coursework in the latest dental techniques and technology.

Dr. McGraw has lived and practiced in Scotts Valley for over 10 years and recently relocated his practice to his new office at 4305 Scotts Valley Drive. Dr. McGraw enjoys, surfing, mountain biking, gardening, travel, and most of all, spending time with his family. Dr. McGraw is invested in and a proud member of the Scott

Great office, the most up-​to-​date equipment (an X-​Ray device where you stand and the machine moves around your head; they don’t put uncomfortable little things in your mouth). Excellent dental hygienists; for the first time in I don’t know how long, a cleaning didn’t hurt at all, even when she was scraping between my bottom front teeth, which is a very sensitive area. Extremely nice staff. And Dr. McGraw is THE BEST. I wish I could award this place 6 stars.

Recent new patient: emergency work on a chipped tooth, exam /​cleaning, and a filling (that was three trips total). Super happy with Bernard and his staff. Pricing is in line with my former dentist (I’m a cash guy), but staff and chairside manner much more personal and relaxed. I’m a fan.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. McGraw’s for a couple of years and I think he’s a terrific dentist. He has all the latest and greatest technology, including the easiest and most comfortable X-​ray machine. Just stand and bite on a small tab while the camera travels around you. No having to hold uncomfortable, and sometimes painful, film cards in your mouth! I just went in last week for a small cavity – I couldn’t believe how quick and easy it was!!! The staff is also wonderful. Everyone is very professional and friendly.

Out of all the Dr’s I’ve been to, not one has ever made me feel comfortable but Dr. McGraw. I feel completely cheated out of a good dental experience from all previous dentists that didn’t know what they were doing. I travel from LA just to come to this practice and I know that I’m getting the best quality of service possible. Everyone in this office is extremely helpful and are great communicators. The best part of this is, everyone that works here LOVES their job and are dedicated to doing their best every time :)

Dr. McGraw is great along with everyone on his staff. I moved to San Jose and still drive back to see him because he does a great job. Everyone there is super friendly, very professional and and spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to clean and preform devaluation work on my teeth since they are extremely sensitive. I highly recommend Dr. McGraw. You won’t be sorry!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Mcgraw since he came to Scotts Valley, which is a long time, and I highly recommend him. He is a great dentist and also has a good way with people — it really shows that he cares about his patients. He’s also very understanding when it comes to pain — he double checks that everything is completely numb before starting anything, and during procedures he asks frequently to see how you’re doing. His office staff is also very nice, and, more importantly, they are competent, which in my experience is rare in medical office staff these days! The main woman who runs the office, Antoinette, has been working there the entire time I’ve been a patient, so she knows how to run the business.

Dr. McGraw truly practices the old adage, «treat people as you would like to be treated.» I’ve tried many dentists in my time and this is one office that I feel comfortable bringing my entire family to. We don’t feel pressured or up sold on anything, the staff is friendly, and the dentistry is great!
