Grabbed the wrong credit card on the way out of town; my wife’s. The guy at the counter couldn’t take the time to call the number on the back of the card to verify I’m on the account. Wouldn’t take cash either. Guess they don’t need any business. Got a hotel room down the street (with the same card) while my car is in the shop. Nice little vacation, but poor service from Hertz. I’ll look elsewhere the next time I need a car.

I rent from this location probably once every other month, mostly because I’m carrying more people than my two-​seater can accommodate. Rick Foskett, the branch manager, has always taken good care of me and has provided great service. He’s very accommodating (like today when I showed up well before office hours and he got me checked in and on the road immediately.
I’ll definitely keep renting from the SV branch.

Scotts Valley, CA
Convenient and friendly, these guys consistently deliver (in a pinch) a good car at a fair deal. It’s in the neighborhood, the people are nice, and I’ve never had a problem with their vehicles or service. I’ve probably used them 8 – 10 times over the years and have never had a complaint… knowing me, that’s five stars!
