This is our new second location! We provide Self Defense and Fitness through Mixed Martial Arts, Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Escrima, and Athletic Performance Enhancement.

IMS Academy is a legitimate Mixed Martial Arts school with instructors and students who have fought in MMA, NHB, Olympic Pankration, Boxing and Muay Thai events dating back to 1988. While some schools have chosen to cash in on MMA’s new popularity without the proper experience or credentials, the IMS Academy teaches the skill set that makes a true Mixed Martial Arts practitioner. These include Muay Thai Kickboxing, Freestyle and Greco-​Roman Wrestling, Boxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Russian Sambo, and American Catch Wrestling.

IMS is the best martial arts gym I have been to. The instructors are very helpful and the enviornment is extremly friendly. They have tons of different classes to fit whatever experience level you are at and I have seen all ages and level experience while coming here.
You cannot really go wrong with any class or instructor though but I would highly recommend the boxing classes with Derrick. He is great at giving instruction and teaches the fundamentals in a fin and entertaining way. As someone who has very little coordination, I found myself improving physically after every session here.
Whether you are looking for a good workout or looking to improve your fighting skills, I would highly recommend IMS for your martial arts needs.

I love coming to IMS. I have been boxing there for about a year now, and wouldn’t trade it for anything! Its such a great workout, and I am now comfortable defending myself if I ever had to. These classes not only offer good training, but along with it brings confidence. I have seen kids blossom into young adults while taking this class. Leaving the ring full of confidence. IMS is like a family. Everyone works together with a mutual love for the sport. IMS is my home away from home. Where I can unwind from the day. Thankful to have found this place, with such amazing coaches, and such a welcoming atmosphere.

I have been training BJJ with Gustavo for 4 years. He is an excellent teacher. No «cookie cutter» classes with Gustavo, he works with your body type and personality to help you develop your own game. Classes are fun, upbeat, and filled with good people. I’ve trained other martial arts for many years and I am very grateful to have found Gustavo. All of the people involved with IMS Academy are top notch, experienced fighters and instructors, you wont find better training out there. Come join us!
