Dr. Christina’s mission is to support pet owners in making the best decision for their pet regarding euthanasia. She believes in honoring the life of pets by making their passing peaceful. In-home euthanasia is a way to say goodbye to a beloved pet in the comfort and privacy of your home.

History

Established in 2004.

Dr. Christina was the first veterinarian to start a business solely for the purpose of in-home euthanasia in the Phoenix metro area. She originally started out of her home in Fountain Hills, but traveled around the Phoenix Metro area. Her business grew as more people learned of this option. Veterinarians throughout the valley have faithfully referred to her because of the continual, positive feedback from their clients. Veterinarians from around the country contacted her to learn of her unique business. She has helped many veterinarians start similar businesses in their area.

Meet the Business Owner

Christina N.

Business Owner

When I was younger, I thought I never wanted to put an animal to sleep. After watching animals suffer in cancer wards and critical care units at school, something changed in me. I watched people holding onto their pets and suffering right alongside them. I witnessed their relief as they allowed their pets to go peacefully and end the suffering. During an internship with Dr. Robyn Downing I was part of a ceremony to put a dog to sleep outside. It was the first time I experienced pet euthanasia as a ceremony versus a medical procedure.

After I graduated and started working in a veterinary clinic, I offered this service to people on the side. The demand began to grow as more and more people were learning of this option.

It is a worthy calling and a valuable use of my years of training because I am able to offer an answer to a difficult situation. I believe the Lord gave me this calling and has enabled me with His love and compassion for all people and pets.
