After agree on date to go over my files he interrupts me to say he charges $ 400 for individual tax. I didn’t ask how much. He must be equivocated; I have the impression he thought I couldn’t pay for his services. Weird vibe.

We own a small business and we just started using this firm — our expectations have been exceeded and we are VERY happy. Chuck was very responsive in my initial requests for a meeting, (important as other firms I emailed did not respond and who has time to hound people so that they have a chance to earn your business?!). In our year end planning Chuck had several insights that we considered to be very valuable. Our accountant in the past has NEVER mentioned the points Chuck made and we were not only impressed but very grateful to have a professional who really knows what he is talking about — we ended up making adjustments to our plans based on his suggestions. He did not bat an eye at our 101 questions and he never made us feel rushed. He was happy to think out of the box but always careful to advise us on how to make sure we are protected. Subsequently, Chuck went out of his way to research items that would be helpful to us – he really went above and beyond. We’ve also met with Lisa and she has held our hand through some of our QuickBooks and payroll questions all while being so prompt, pleasant and very professional. An accountant isn’t something you think about everyday, but when you need them you need them to be great at their job and really professional — this is what we have found at this firm. CW Clarke, CPA, a certified accounting firm located in Scottsdale AZ, is in a league of its own. Chuck Clarke and his staff have prepared my taxes since the late 1980s and I’d be lost without the professional assistance and guidance I’ve received. Prior to finding Chuck’s firm I had used another accounting firm that didn’t wield the experience or knowledge of tax laws which resulted in inaccurately prepared returns. The CPA’s lack of knowledge was to my distinct detriment when I was notified of an audit three years later. I turned to Chuck who represented me before the IRS and Dept. of Revenue and the matter was handled in a timely and professional manner. There is no question, a CPA does not cost but rather saves and with Chuck, you certainly get your money’s worth.

Chuck and his team has been my tax accountant for about the last 4 years. I have worked with several other accountants and the CW Clarke team has CONSISTENTLY out performed my wildest expectations.
