iLearn and Succeed is a center for academic success. We are home to iLearn with iPads — an academic class combining traditional curriculum with iPad applications that increase a child’s desire to learn. We test children to determine their ability and create a plan that will strengthen their weaknesses. We use interactive tablets to specifically target a child’s educational needs while making learning fun and interesting. During the school year, our iLearn with iPad classes are available in many of the Scottsdale afterschool enrichment programs. In addition, we provide online school support for students grades K-​12 in our morning Day Academy, available daily from 8:30 — 1:00. We believe that each child is an individual; that all children are creative; that all children can succeed. Therefore, we crate individualized plans that are flexible, fun, and successful

History

Established in 2005.

Our learning center has been in business for over seven years and has been providing quality educational programs to develop individual students successfully. You may not recognize our name at first because we have recently changed it to iLearn and Succeed, reflecting the new direction we are taking. We believe students learn differently because of mobile technology. As early as 4 years old, they know answers to probing questions are just a click away. They also know they are no longer limited to programs their parents have on the home computer. Smart phones and tablets have opened up the world of applications, and students are able to learn just about anywhere. We are taking that love of learning and teaching them through mobile technology, creating students who will become lifetime learners. Our established Power Reading, Power Math, Handwriting, Study Squad and Day Academy Programs are all still in place and have been enhanced to accommodate the use of mobile technology.

Manager

The iLearn Center Director, Sandy Myhr, has been with the company for 5 years and has been in education for over 25 years. Sandy has taught here in Arizona as well as Washington State and overseas, in China. Sandy is an assessment specialist who loves working with children of all ages.
