Jakes K9 Corner

DO NOT BRING YOUR BUSINESS HERE. THEY WILL CHEAT YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY. buyer beware. I contacted this business because I purchased a discount through groupon to get my dog groomed. I tried on many occasions to get through to someone before I was finally able to make an appointment. However, when I came with my dog on the scheduled time and date, the business was closed and had apparently not yet opened after renovations. I recieved no messages to reschedule or that they were not able to fulfill the service on the agreed upon date. I tried again to make an appointment about a month later for the sole reason that I had already paid for the groupon but I was informed that they had stopped taking groupons the month before, even though the promotion had not yet expired on groupon. They told me I could receive a refund from groupon, which I pursued, but I was told that the groupon was final sale, and the credit for the groupon should be able to be redeemed at the business at any time. However I will not be pursuing this because I would rather be out the money I paid for the groupon than have to deal with the awful swindling service at jakes k9 corner.

Jake’s K9 Corner is a small shop with a nice mellow vibe. I was deeply impressed by how the groomer listened carefully to my particular concerns and wishes regarding my dogs and took them into account when she groomed them. She’s willing to go to extra trouble to make sure her doggy clients have the best possible experience. For instance, I mentioned that one of my little dogs doesn’t like being lifted up, and she got out a ramp so he could walk up into the bath.
For once, my poodle mix didn’t come home looking like a shorn lamb and my older mutt was cheerful and relaxed rather than strung out after his grooming. In fact, my two mutts had their best haircuts ever! We’ve been to three other groomers in our area and Jake’s K9 is by far the best we’ve experienced. There are groomers more conveniently located, but I will definitely drive the extra couple of miles to take my beloved pups to Jake’s.
