Maximum Airbrush Tan

First of all, I just want to start off by saying that I spray tan often (usually custom airbrush, but I have also used automated machines) and have been spray tanned by several people/​businesses. I usually don’t write bad reviews, but I genuinely cannot think of anything positive to say about Maximum Airbrush Tan. I’m actually baffled reading the other reviews and can only conclude they are friends of Mandy or girls who work in the office with her. Unfortunately, I bought a package of two through Groupon so I went twice. My first experience wasn’t good. Groupon made it sound like this was a salon, when it is actually just a single person who uses a very small office at a plastic surgeons office. No one will answer the phone, you have to leave a message and Mandy will text you to schedule an appointment. Very informal and not personable at all. I also called 10 days in advance of the day I needed an appt, she did not have any available appointments for three weeks. I explained over text that I was desperate since I was going to the beach 34 weeks pregnant and very flexible if she could fit me in at ANY time (for a large tip), I had no idea I had to schedule my spray tan a month in advance. She was very short with me and simply said «No» so I ended up going somewhere else. Anyways, when I did get in, Mandy is about as friendly as a piece of cardboard. She stays in the room with you as you undress which I thought was odd. The room is tiny and there’s a very small spray tan tent that she uses, your elbows will hit the sides when doing the different poses and get covered in residue (which is also all over the floor too). My spray tan the next day after I rinsed (no soaps or shampoos) was non-​existent. I was still whiter than a ghost, which you usually experience the opposite with a spray tan. It was like I didn’t even get sprayed. Unfortunately, I still had one more tan and thought I would give it another shot. And even though she schedules over text, she managed to give my appt away to someone else. So not only was she 30 minutes late, but she was not apologetic. I told her that last time was way too light. The tan was very uneven, streaky, and it looked like she didn’t even spray one of my knees. Bottom line, don’t waste your money.

Mandy is amazing. She makes you feel very comfortable and provides the best customized tans in AZ. Her prices are unbelievable for your results! I drive 40 minutes each way and its totally worth it!

This was my second visit to Mandy — I bought a group package the second time because I really love her product! The Quick Tan solution does not smell and it does not rub off! It also left my skin very smooth. Mandy is quick and very professional! Highly recommend!

Mandy was so professional but also very warm and welcoming. She had great recommendations for skin products and applied an airbrush tan that stayed looking fresh during a 6 day trip in Hawaii mind you spending most of everyday in the water. It still looks great over a week later and fades very evenly! Loved the product. Will definitely be seeing Mandy very soon!

By chance I purchased a spray tan groupon and I’m so happy I did. The experience and results have far exceeded my expectations!! Mandy is a true professional and the quality of her product far exceed what is customarily used in the Spray tanning industry. My skin color is beautiful, even and glowing !! Such a treat… if your looking for a pick me up a beautiful tan is a great start!

I used to get mystic and versa spa tans all the time– I was hesitant to get sprayed by an actual person. But, after going to Mandy for the first time last fall, I’ve been hooked! The color is PERFECT and makes you want to get sprayed every week to maintain that bronze skin!
It’s a quick and easy process, it dries quickly, and once you shower it off you’re left with the perfect color. Mine have always lasted at least a week and always fade evenly so you don’t even notice it going away.
I love being tan but hate the sun’s damaging rays, so an airbrush is a perfect option.

Sometimes we learn the hard way that waiting for the best is worth the wait.
So the lesson is… never settle for anything less than the best.
I had never gotten an airbrush tan in Arizona since relocating from San Diego. So I did an online search for airbrush and found Maximum Airbrush Tan. I had my first appointment and I was so so pleased. Immediately after my appointment I made the next available appointment … Which to my disappointment was 2 WEEKS AWAY!
A week went by and my tan started to fade so I went to another location for my airbrush since Maximum was booked solid. I left the other location with a very dark tan that immediately started to fade and roll off and crack iand my body look like it had some disease I spent the entire week trying to scrub it off.
I will never go to anywhere but Maximum for an airbrushed. I realize. And learned the hard way that sometimes when something is that good it’s worth the wait.
I love my beautiful bronze tan that fades perfectly… in time for my next appointment. That I already made… For the next 2 months.
Maximum is the best. Never settle for anything less

I have used other tanning salons for a spray tan but there was no comparison. Mandy Faith is awesome. She is extremely professional and easy to work with. Her goal is to make you look great with a natural and healthy glow. She focuses on the detail making sure that the tan is even. Her product is gluten free and organic, an added extra. She has been doing this for 5+ years and knows how to provide a fantastic spray tan. Easy to find location off Scottsdale Road and Mescal (just north of Shea). I would highly recommend her. She knows her stuff!

Mandy is amazing! She is so sweet and really knowledgable about her craft! I would trust anyone she trained as well. I’m a competitive dancer so I’ve gotten many spray tans before, but the outcomes were never as good as Mandy’s. She knows what she’s talking about, makes you feel comfortable, and I wouldn’t imagine going anywhere else whenever I need a tan!

Mandy is amazing! Not only does she use organic, gluten free, & vegan tanning solution, she gives an amazing even, natural looking tan! She also has an express tan solution if you can’t wait the normal 8 hours to shower. She explains everything that she’s doing during your session and what to expect after you leave.
Her hours are flexible and shes in a great location! I definitely recommend this business.

I was trying to find a custom airbrush tan in scottsdale area before I went on my honeymoon I found Mandy and she did a fantastic job, the tan was amazing exactly like she said, it went on nicely and lasted. It wasn’t orange and didn’t go streaky. I would recommend Mandy and her tans they are great. Will certainly be going back thanks!

What I like most about Mandy is that she truly knows and understands her business — she is extremely knowledgeable about the ingredients in her spray-​tanning products and how they compare with her competitors. She uses the highest quality products, and she also takes the time to evaluate your personal skin color so that what is applied looks as natural as possible.
The results that Mandy achieves can only be described as superb — she carefully and slowly applies the product making sure it is even and all areas are covered with no patches.
The tan I received was golden brown, natural and looked even better a few days later.
It’s pretty obvious that Mandy take a great deal of pride in her work — her prices are very reasonable, and I would far prefer to use this type of tanning rather than damage my skin in the sun.
