The warranty is meaningless. They do not return calls and have lost their license with the ROC.

I was blackmailed by Manager Angelo to put in a good remark about my over all experience with my pool I bought with them In order to receive a 500 dollar in store credit at the store on Shea Blvd in Scotsdale, Az. Even though my personal experience was the absolute worst. No returned phone calls. Never on time for anything. Post phoned apt times from one day to next. Even from one week to next and month to month and so on. My pool was way over due when promised it would only be 3 months. My plaster came out horrible with trowel marks every where. My color I picked for the plaster is completely different. My drain doesnt work properly and my waterfall isn’t completed. I went in recently on Thursday May 28^th 2015 to finally get answers to the Scotsdale location from ANGELO since I got no returned phone calls or emails. I spoke with Kathy who told me Angelo wasn’t there. I tried to collect my 500 dollar in store credit and was told it’s not even in system. I have been betrayed and lied to by Angelo. It turns out that after a few minutes trying to get answers from Kathy she finally came out with the truth that the company is going down under. No more employees or staff are there. She explained that she hasn’t even received a pay check yet. Now I’m stuck with trying to resolve all my issues. Advice to others. Never trust anyone. I should have saw hints that this company was going down under when nobody returned my phone calls. I have been taken advantage of and now plan on legal action against Paddock or Cameo Pools.

As of 5÷29÷15 their contractors license has been suspended.

Zero is too good for this place. Got a quote to get our pool remodeled and the rep told me 2 weeks, it was 4 weeks before Christmas so with weather delays and whatnot I figured it would be complete before the holiday — it was finally done at the end of January! No returned calls, no schedule provided, misleading information, sales rep full of crap and very rude! The customer service was non-​existent! NEVER work with them again and hopefully they will either fix their staffing issues or close down completely.

Buyer beware… as of may 2015 they suddenly stopped any work on my sons new pool and left him with a half done pool. they are out of $$$ and stopped answering calls, etc.

Ha ha ha. If I could give a zero I would. This company is toast. Even after their resent purchase by an equity investment firm to bail out their poor decisions — this place should have a short life span.
My story.
I take work off last Monday May 4^th 2015 so that I can be at my home since my pool was to be serviced. I call the service dept on May 4^th at 11:15am asking when I should expect service. I am told by the service rep that «she was going to call me» because «the service guy who I was paired up with today called in sick».
There are a couple things wrong with this. First off, WHEN was I going to get such a call? It was damn near noon! Second, why should I get bumped due to the misfortune of a service guy? I now have to wait another week, and take another day off from work — and this time HOPE a guy shows up and I don’t get bumped again !!! Who does business like this !!!
So, today, May 11^th rolls around. I call repeatedly like once every 20 minutes to reach someone to just get an ETA for the service guy. On the 5^th attempt, someone claims to take my info down and pass it along to the woman at the service desk. No call back. Rinse and repeat. No call back. This dance goes on a few a few hours until I virtually corner the bitch and get her to call the tech, but before getting back to me — she hangs up on me. I call back and corner her again, and she then tells me that I need to be rescheduled again because the tech I had the misfortune of being paired up with «had to leave home due to a family emergency» this time.
So, why did it take her that long to find this information out? Why did she have to call tech to find out he wasn’t going to be available — should she have known about that — and have this info displayed front and center — and then proactively call or reschedule people ??? One would think.
So, I escalated and get her manager — Joel was his name. I conveyed the above. After requesting that a tech come now, or at the very least tomorrow (May 12^th), he succinctly tells me in no way is that a possibility. This, after I had the misfortune of being bumping twice by them.
I’m done. I’ll take my money elsewhere. I would encourage all Paddock Pool users to do the same.

HORRIBLE service. Having made a service app’t I waited half a day for the guy to show. He didn’t show up and didn’t call. I called Paddock, THREE times to find out what was going on, no one called me back. Finally the next day I drove to the store and asked for the manager. He doesn’t work Saturdays. Monday came, no call. Tuesday I called the store and asked for the manger…“He’s in a meeting”. NO return call.
These are the most unprofessional clowns I have ever dealt with and I stuck with them because it is a «Paddoc» system.

This is the WORST company I have ever. Signed contract over 6 weeks ago, and finally have home dug. Endless calls go unanswered and they never return calls or emails!!!
They promise certain days for work to be completed and not only does nobody show up, they don’t call to advise such, apologize or even try to get matter fixed.
I have tried numerous times to call my coordinator, foreman, or even higher up; all with no answer nor return calls.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Stay away from Paddock pools. They told us it would take about 6 weeks to build the pool we are eight weeks in and not even half done. They do not return calls and don’t care about their customers. They fail inspections, lie, and do not pay their subs. I’m trying to save you from my pain. Do not use Paddock.

We used Paddock to put our pool in over 10 yrs ago with an in ground cleaning system. This cleaning system has a lifetime warranty and when the pop up head breaks they have been replaced without question.
Over three weeks ago we went in to the store to get another replacement pop up. They didn’t have any and gave us the excuse that the company, Paramount, doesn’t ship consistently and they were expecting an order. We waited and called and Paddock said they would order one for us. Still waited and finally called Paramount. No problem they would send us one within the day. Called Paddock to make sure the one they were ordering for us wasn’t sitting there. Another excuse that it was given to the buyer and they don’t know what happened from there.
Paddock’s customer service has declined over the years we have dealt with them. From now on, we will deal with the manufacturer. Much better response.

We contracted Paddock Pools to remodel our pool and cool deck on 1÷17÷2015. Since then they have been here once to do a terrible chip out job. It is almost impossible to get a commitment from them to show up and work. We are so sorry we contracted them. DO NOT USE THEM!!! They have lied to us many times over. If they do not show up this week — we will be going to the ROC, BBB and 3 on your side!

Frankly they would get ZERO STARS if that was an option. The current owners bought the company a couple of years ago and do not honor any warranties from the old Paddock Pools which had generated many years of goodwill. These guys are a joke now and you needn’t expect any after sale service. They will likely be bankrupt soon once word gets out about the current operation and their horrible policies and lack of service. TERRIBLE.

We moved to Sun City West last summer and knew at once we needed our OWN pool rather than the rec center pools. After some research, we went with Paddock/​Cameo. They gave us a quote, a design and a time frame. The pool was dug in late September and finished just before Thanksgiving as we pushed them to do that so when our kids and grandkids arrived they could swim.
This company did everything asked and more. I would recommend them to anyone. We went with a plaster, a stunning aqua blue and the pool looks fabulous. We also went with an ozonator and several other things to make it nearly maintenance free.
My wife and I would recommend these folks to anyone.

I called to schedule a pool designer to come out to my home as we are wanting a pool and the first question I was asked was will I be financing, and I responded I don’t even know how much I would be spending. She replied 35,000 with a spa. I said OK. So she scheduled her designer to come out. Great!
The designer was to be out at 9:30 am, my phone rings at 8am. It’s the pool designer he states he wants to find out where we are with this pool, I said what do you mean? he states financing I said I don’t know how much I’m spending. Then he goes into a pool with a hot tub is 35,000.00 and on and on and on about this and that which meant nothing to me. This is my home and I want something nice. I wanna see it and I want the way I want it. Then I will figure out how I pay for it. I’m kinda glad he called because I was able to decide even if this company was giving away pools. I would not use this company. This company is more worried about money than customer service. I hope this helps.

Hired these losers in July. Pool still isn’t done. Their saleman will lie to u every day. Do not hire these people.
4÷8÷2015 My pool still isn’t done. The hottub leaks and they won’t respond to me. I have to hire a lawyer. Do not do business with bad company.

I went to their webpage and filled out the form with my email and phone number asking someone to contact me and still haven’t heard from them over a month later.

Terrible customer service. Totally ignored by several available staff. Needed three new cartridges for the spa. We’re told by a gal in back that all they have is out. Didn’t offer to order.
Looks like the place is getting ready to close down. Sparsely furnished.
We found a great place nearby that was totally customer oriented. Go to NPS pool supply on 90^th & near Mountainview. They were awesome!

Oh no! What happened to these guys?!
We stopped in last night looking for a small table to put behind our hot tub. When we pulled up we immediately said, «Uh oh, they look like they’re going out of business?!» Walking in you are immediately overcome by the LACK of merchandise on the floor. Gone is half of the showroom which has been leased to a tile store now. The hot tubs which used to dominate the rear of the store now look like they are an afterthought. The entire front of the store is now «on sale» with clearance type pricing and it’s all Christmas Merchandise. We asked one of the salesmen what happened and they explained that they were bought out earlier this year. The new owners apparently are waiting to clear out the old merchandise before restocking the shelves? Not sure I understand this sales tactic but it’s not my place to tell them how to run their business. That being said I’m not sure we’ll ever return.

We purchased a 7′ Christmas tree exactly three years ago from this Paddock store. After we took it home and assembled it, we found that the top lights didn’t work.
The Paddock folks told us to return the tree after the Holidays and they would fix it – which we did. After waiting three month we stopped in and were told they had fixed the lights and gave it back to us.
Again we took it home, opened the box and found many of the lights were now missing and the wires had been cut in various place. To top it off, the tree itself had cigarette butts in it.
So we made another trip back to the store. At this point, Paddock told us they would honor their commitment and either refund our money, or let us pick a new tree in the fall. We chose the latter and returned just before Thanksgiving for our new tree.
When we came in we found a nicer tree that was slightly higher in price but the manager waved her hand and said not to worry they would give it to us as a fair exchange for all our troubles. At the time, they were also having a sale on outdoor gas heaters — so we bought one since they were trying hard to earn our business.
We took both items home and assembled the tree for Christmas and guess what? The lights on the tree didn’t work at all! At this point we returned the tree and were given a full refund. No questions asked! All through this experience we were very patient and felt the staff was really working hard to satisfy our needs, but in the end the products they were selling weren’t as good as their efforts.
Our story doesn’t end here. This past summer I assembled the outdoor heater for the fall and found it didn’t work either. I’ve since been able to fix it, but it doesn’t work all the time.

Five Stars for service and Zero Stars for their merchandise. Sorry!

On my visit to purchase a $ 6−8k spa, I was ignored completely by everyone I walked up to. After several laps around the spa area, and about 10 minutes of this BS, I went back to the front of the store, to the customer service counter, to ask for help. I stood there another few minutes while 4 sales clerks discussed a clearly more important customer than I (who all told spent about an hour with several sales people, was clearly price shopping, and ended up not buying ANYTHING).
I finally got some «service» once they realized I actually wanted to give them thousands of dollars. Hilariously, the sales guy kept touting their fantastic service, which based on how I just had been completely ignored, I don’t exactly believe.
They also sell tons of patio furniture and some awful yard «décor» (who buys this crap??)
Bottom line: look like you have tons o’ money (read: older and rude, demanding personality) and you’ll get service, regardless of whether you have intentions of actually buying anything.
