Late last July I recieved an innocent looking envelope in the mail. I turned it open and saw that it was from the dreaded Internal Revenue Service. I had recieved notices from them before about getting audited. I always ended up need to pay a few bucks back. Well not this time. I got audited from a file I did back in 2010! The amount owe was over $ 3,000.
