We have been in this bar a couple times now. The vibe is great and the owner is really cool but… He either waters down or mixes his top shelf drinks with wells.
I am an avid Jameson drinker. It is pretty much the only alcohol I drink. I drink it neat, on the rocks, or in sours. I go through about a 750ml of it a week at home. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that what he is pouring from his Jameson bottle is NOT Jameson.

home of cheap day drinking during ‘power hour’ and the Oregon Ducks.
Morning Power Hour runs from 10am to 11am everyday and afternoon Power Hour weekdays from 3pm to 4pm. $ 1 Well drinks and $ 2 imports and premium drinks.
Great place to watch games (especially the Ducks) or play pinball, darts and pool. It has friendly bar staff and friendly regulars. Come in and meet a few.

My mom and brother came to visit me from Oregon and we were looking for a place to watch the Duck civil war game. I had passed this place a few times and took note of the Duck flags hanging outside. We decided to check it out. Everyone was more than welcoming and beyond friendly. You could tell that everyone at the bar were regulars and all knew each other so we were approached by a few employees introducing themselves.
Very fun bar! They even had a food truck so people could order food after the kitchen closed. The only negative I have about this place is that the TV’s inside were a few seconds faster than the ones outside so if you’re sitting outside you know a big play is about to happen when everyone inside screams.

Dive bar. The kind with parking spots labeled for its regulars. Oregon bar with some interesting bottles from Oregon and Pacific Northwest. Cheap drinks; power hour, happy hour, power hour again. Pool table and darts. Also a super efficient and really sweet bartender.

This bar is great! We went in on a Sunday morning for bloody mary’s and beers. Really fun, lively bar, the bartender was great. It was packed by 10:30a.m. Decent sized shady outdoor smoking area, fun music. And they have phone chargers!

Well, here is your classic definition of a dive bar. By the shape of the roof, I’m guessing this was a Pizza Hut at one time. I’ve passed by this place 100 times and finally stopped on a Saturday afternoon.
Cheap drinks, beer, mixed drink and a shot…$ 14…got to love that!
Charming bartender, good and attentive. I’ll stop by again!

Love this place. I work nights and the morning bartender always makes me feel welcome. One of the few places my Co workers and I can unwind. The staff at open is always so cool with letting us know drink specials, and «happy hour», love it.

I was excited to check this place out after seeing an ad in the New Times. We went there and asked for a lemon drop. The bartender told us «no» 2 times! (Yes we asked again, because we were in disbelief) When we asked her why, she sighed, said «fine» as she rolled her eyes and walked away. Shocked, we turned around and walked out. VERY RUDE LADY!

Chess/​checkers, Backgammon, scrabble, pool, darts and even the punching bag game.
On Sundays they have all the games on and free BBQ burgers/​hotdogs.
Send them a text when you’re first there for a penny drink and on the weekends sometimes they give you 25% off when you ride your bike.
This is my favorite place on the outskirts of Old Town, dirt cheap with the friendliest people.
I will stay coming back to this place!

I was not expecting much prior to my visit to the Well Bar. This «Oregon Duck» hang-​out doesn’t discriminate on Sunday mornings for NFL viewing. There are TV’s tuned all around the front of the bar, a nice outside patio, very good prices on beer and cocktails, a terrific happy hour, some games around the bar, plus a pool table, and some truly incredible burgers and hot dogs on Sunday mornings. The guy works for tips, but deserves a hell of a lot more. Just like you cooked it on your own backyard grill, but someone else doing the work. A very fun Sunday morning — oh and you can bring in your own eats if you need to.

Great dive sports bar. Went to watch a Ducks game and was not disappointed. Three dollar Oregon beers on game day. Wide selection of beers on tap. Saw some shots at the table next to us and they were heavy shots. Will be back in the future.

Dive bar, divey drunk crowd, even at 5pm on a weekday. The TV situation might make this place better, but there is not enough room to enjoy all the games on a Sunday and there is a pool table right in the middle of the small room. No doubt some drunk middle aged woman (like today) will hit you with her pool stick after tossing it through the air following a poor shot. No TV’s outside that you really can see in the daylight, although it is a legendary patio with solid misters. Good $ 2 beer deals during happy hour, interesting bartender and a rough and tumble crowd make this a take your chance and never know what you will get kind of bar. Would be good to watch a single game like MNF. No Food.

Lame. Waited with a group of 4 outside at a table for 20 mins. Never got service. We all left.
There were only 10 people in the whole restaurant. The servers and bartenders were too busy talking with regulars to help out new customers.

This bar is a cute little neighborhood bar. Very relaxed atmosphere. I went last night for Tuesday night trivia and it was really fun. I was glad to see it wasn’t hosted by Team Trivia (who I do not like at all…) and the questions were good. The trivia master was a nice guy and very gracious to all of the people there. They had ok drink prices, with a 16 oz PBR for 2.50. I would come back here for trivia night again for sure.
PS Ace the puppy is adorable!
