The five stars goes to the store in desert ridge.
You just get in the door and there is someone to help.
Not in the Scottsdale location. You are on your own.
Girls are to busy chatting at their registers.
The men are go getters in the Desert Ridge store.

I like this store because it has a wide variety of choices and good prices.
I do not like this store because my interactions with people working in the store have been mixed. On one hand, the employees seem trained to ask you if you need help, give you advice, etc. On the other hand, people stocking shelves (maybe not employees??) are positively rude. I have asked a question about the availability of a particular wine and been blown off, spoken to rudely, etc. So the directive to be courteous to customers may not extend to vendors who are in the store.

I give this location 2 stars because sometimes when I get out of work at 9 pm I call ahead to have them retrieve my drink of choice up to the front desk I always get a feeling it’s a lot of trouble for the young folks working this particular night to do this chore and when I show up I get a shit more crappy attitude… Wtf peeps I’m always polite and nice when I come into your place of business be happy you lil shits drop the tude

When I heard they were opening a Total Wine behind my condo, I knew my days of going to Bevmo were numbered and I’m not complaining.
Insane amount of local, craft beer and great prices. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

While staff USUALLY helpful and store has a great selection… you are treated as a POTENTIAL THIEF if you request a wine from the locked up temp controlled section, where wines are on the more expensive side and then continue to shop! The same wine sales women will take your bottle up front «per rules» so you can’t steal it! Even though you might have more expensive wines already in your basket while shopping, she does not care about those… she’ll just go by the rules without using common sense and corral your wine up front until you check out so you can’t steal it! VERY INSULTING :(I contacted corporate about this, who evidently couldn’t be bothered to answer the complaint! I won’t be shopping at this store again…

We reserved a specialty keg for our wedding reception 2 weeks ahead of time. I showed up to the store the day of the wedding, and the keg we ordered was nowhere to be found. The staff offered no explanation. Infuriating and absolutely unacceptable.

Oh-My-Gwad…
This is WAY beyond your typical wine store! Is this the «norm» around these parts? Seriously, I (a self proclaimed vino-haulic) have spent the better half of my life on the quest to find fabulous wine, and I can honestly say I have never seen a wine store this gigantic. Not only is is gigantic with more wine then I have ever seen in one place, the staff is incredibly friendly — I think I was approached by 3 different employees within the first 2 minutes of being in the store. I wanted a really special bottle as a Thank You gift for some friends, and they helped me find one and even told me the back story on the famous guest vintner that helped create the vintage.
I would 100% shop at Total Wine next time I am in town. I’m actually excited to go back and bring the Mr — he’s going to LOVE this place. Oh, and I also loved that they had a little section with cheeses and stuff that you could use to put together a really fantastic Host Gift. Tres cool!

This total, wine totally sucks compared to the ones in san tan and in ahwautukee .
I typically go, to san tan, but was watching my grand child today and went to, this Scottsdale location. It took forever to find someone to help. No less than 3 employees who I asked for help could not have cared less, and offered close to zero help. Only one young man turned out to be helpful. What’s up with store???

Simply the best! They have everything, including an awesome selection of Rums and Beers!
I have ordered online and the goodies are waiting for me!
Staff is a little stuck up but when I ask for help, they are on the money finding my items and no messing around.
Screw the Bevmo next door that deserves to crash and burn.

This is my go to spot when my Wine rack is sparse and I need to load up on Wine. There’s a very large selection of Wine and most importantly, they have a great selection of Wine that’s $ 5.99 or less… and the cheap Wine doesn’t taste like 2 Buck Chuck either… it’s great table Wine for everyday drinking. I’ve bought over 300 bottles of Wine less than $ 5.99 at this place and have never thrown out a single bottle… that’s a pretty good track record.
They also have a nice selection of Beer and Spirits… although, I have to admit, this place is not always top of mind when I’m shopping for those type of alcoholic drinks.
The staff here is very friendly and I enjoy browsing the employee selections, which are featured Wines the employees select.
I’ll definitely be back.

Simply put, a grocery store for booze.
I’m from Ontario, Canada and our largest store is a ¹⁄₃ the size of this monstrosity. The gin section had me welling up inside. The Micro-brewery section and selection took my breath away.
A mixer section. Snacks section. Did I read someone rec’d bloody COUPONS to use here?!
An aisle dedicated to single malts? At home, we have 200 listed on the web-site, but maybe 10% actually in stock. Oh, and prices are 50−75% of those back home.
I am in awe of this place.
