USAir Duct and Carpet Cleaning

Complete waste of money. I bought a Living Social deal for «Unlimited Supply Vent Cleaning for an A/​C Unit or a Furnace and a Dryer Vent Cleaning». When the tech arrived he informed me that the returns need cleaned and that would be an extra $ 129 and that I wouldn’t get rid of dust until those are cleaned. Needless to say, it is in the fine print that returns are not included? Then he stuck a flexible blue hose into a register in my bedroom and one in my office and let it run for 10 minutes, not even doing a thing with the other 10 registers. I asked if the dryer vent got cleaned, he said he checked and it doesn’t need it. Don’t bother or be tempted by the deals that it sounds like you will get!

Don’t be tempted by the $ 49 offer you can get on Kudzo, Gropon, in the paper, etc, it’s just a way to get in the door and for them to sell you services for 200 – 300 $ at the minimum. They’ll tell you that you don’t qualify for the cleaning in the voucher because the air vent have never been cleaned (which you know for a fact they were), or try to scare you with all kinds of allergens or pollutants, and how they can spray all kinds of expensive organic stuff in there, or sell you warranty. Any real trusted AC professional will tell you that most of the stuff they’re saying are completely false. You can see who you’re dealing with just by calling and trying to set up an appointment. One different person answers the phone each day, I set up one appointment and when I called the next day to reschedule, a lady said she doesn’t even see my appointment and that she’ll call me next week (!) when she’s back in town.

These guys are using Groupon to rip people off. Horrible company. They say its $ 50 dollars on Groupon to clean your dryer vent and air ducts. Then when they get to your house they say your dryer vent is clogged with out even looking at it, and say the group on does not cover it. (Again not even looking at the dryer vent, no air pressure, no flash lights, nothing, and they know its clogged? What?) They tell me it will cost $ 180 with no discount at all. What the hell did I buy a coupon for? They also say you have to choose Air Duct or Dryer Vent cleaning. Not both. Even when the groupon say clearly says on it. «Air Duct AND dryer Vent Cleaning.» Complete wast of $ 50 dollars. They are keeping peoples money for doing nothing at all but driving around telling people there is no discount and that there is nothing they can do unless you pay them tons of money. Such a horrible company. I’m so mad.
