We are not what you might expect in a coffeehouse!

Named after the founder of Scottsdale, we are a unique non-​profit coffee house that features exceptional, fresh, Italian-​style espresso/​coffee drinks – Hot, Frozen, or Iced! We feature a long list of custom beverages, delicious grab and go salads, bakery selections, fruit smoothies and more with live music on Wednesday nights and special events all year long! A beautiful venue with comfortable inside and outside seating – even a fireplace outside! Perfect for meetings, events, groups and FREE WIFI!

We are more than coffee… we are about people. We promote local small businesses, music and arts. ALL profits over and above operating costs, go directly to local non-​profits!

History

Established in 2009.

About six years ago, a team of folks from First Baptist Church of Scottsdale (founded by Winfield Scott), decided they would do something different then all the other churches; as part of the first phase of a multi-​million dollar renovation to the church, they would build a free-​standing, open to anyone, coffee house. While the church members and friends funded the campaign, Winfield’s was built with the community of south Scottsdale in mind. For 50 years, FBCS has been on the corner of 70^th St. and Osborn, and they felt they should give something back to the neighborhood by offering a comfortable and convenient venue for friends and fun. While the church constituents funded the café, the church receives no profit from the café. All profits that don’t cover the day-​to-​day operations, go to a local food pantry or homeless shelter. There is no catch, no hidden agenda. Just a great space, great coffee and great friends.
