A great find in Scranton… Excellent pizza & pastries; friendly and attentive staff… We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon for lunch, split 2 pizzas for four people. Pepperoni was a unanimous favorite – slightly spicy meat, great sauce, fresh mozzarella. The staff was very attentive and brought our pizzas at exactly the right time so that we didn’t have to wait for the second one to arrive, nor was it sitting on the table getting cold while we ate the first. Pastries were all beautiful and quite tasty.

They make a great pie. Tried it for the first time today. Fresh quality ingredients. The fresh mozzarella and the pepperoni are heaven. Coming from NYC and being used to top quality pizza places this is tops for Scranton and definitely on par with any NYC pizza.

Ok just got a pizza from AD bakery and pizzeria I got a pizza a few months ago from this same place and it was great a little expensive but well worth it at the time. Fast forward to the present still expensive but not worth it anymore the crust is paper thin can not even pick up a slice with out what little cheese and sauce that they managed to put on this very sad excuse for a pizza. So either they have to step up there game or honestly people don’t waste you time or money ordering here. I myself will try this place again and I hope they can get back the magic they had just a few months ago in making one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten in my life.

Just there on Saturday for a fresh pizza, this place is great, a family atmosphere the best coffee in a 3 state radius, pastries to die for and the only wood oven pizza that I know of. Make this your go to place you won’t regret it

A friend«liked’ Amberdonia on Facebook and the pictures of their pizza and pastry had me dying to try it out. The pizza made the 45 minute trip home and still tasted great. Thin crust(a slightly thinner crust would have made it almost perfect for me) and fire grilled. Excellent. Tried a handful of pastries that were all very good too: rum cake, chocolate pistachio cupcake was excellent, and rainbow cookies(I prefer them a little moister with more jam). I look forward to enjoying their pizza and pastries when in Scranton. How about a storefront in the Lake Wallenpaupack area? We need a bakery and an old shcool pizza oven! I reserve my 5 star pizza for John’s Pizzeria on Bleecker Street in NY and a little corner shop in Venice with standing room only; sorry I don’t recall the name!

The pizza is great. Will have to come back and try their baked goods. The wood fired crust def tastes better and they put something in their dough that makes it delicious. The cheese is nice and chewy like it should be. Only reason for not getting 5 stars, is cuz the pizza wasn’t that big
