I can’t say enough good things about this place! The desserts are to-​die-​for and the sandwiches can’t be beat (the tuna italiano is my favorite). The owners are so warm and friendly– you feel like family each time you visit. If you live in Scranton and haven’t stopped by, yet, you’re missing out!

If you haven’t stopped into Amendola Deli-​cious you are missing out! This sweet, little deli is a wonderful gem in Scranton! The décor is lovely with small bistro tables and traditional Italian decorations, the staff is friendly and engaging, and the food is fabulous! I always drive right by Amendola and today was the first time I actually stopped. I’m so thrilled that I did! Their italian hoagie was perfect and they make the best cappuccino I’ve had in Scranton since moving here over a year ago! Not to mention their desserts are flown in directly from Italy – they are to die for!
I will definitely be going back on a regular basis to support this small business. A gold star, in my opinion!
