The only home brew shop in the immediate scranton area. Wilkes-​Barre has one and Pittston has a smaller version located in a beer distributor. I get 90% of my home brewing (beer) stuff here. The staff is very friendly and helpful (will always mill the grain for you). I don’t want to knock them for anything, but I will say the availability of common items (some malt, dry yeasts) can be hit or miss. They definitely stock every thing you’d need to make beer, it’s sometimes just a matter of luck if they have exactly what you’re looking for, but they usually have plenty of alternatives in case they’re out. They are conveniently located in the strip mall across from viewmont.

Commenting on the homebrew portion of this business there is a good supply of craft ingredients, grain, hops, additives, beer and wine kits and various supplies, and is always upgrading their supply line.
The welcoming staff is very accomodating with any help or advice you may need as they are well versed in the brewing and hydroponics business.
Above all, they go out of their way to provide you with any specialty ingredients you require, as they can order it in a relatively short time.
Just a pleasure to go to a retail store such as this where sales knowledge and old fashioned hospitality exist !
