History

Established in 1987.

Scranton Dodge Chrysler Jeep is co-owned by brothers Matt & Dave Pompey. Their father purchased the dealership from Chrysler Motors in 1984. The 2 sons took over the day to day operations in 1989 and have guided the dealership for the last 23 years.

Several delapidated building were razed to construct a large and technically advanced body shop called the Scranton Collision Repair Center. It serves as one of NEPA’s largest collision centers and provides expert body repair and collision work for All Makes and All models — not just Chrysler products.

In 1991 Matt & Dave Pompey purchased Tunkhannock Auto Mart and in 2001 opened a brand new and advanced Chrysler Showroom. SDCJ is a multiple 5-Star Recipient and continues to score high marks for superior customer handling and problem resolution.

The dealership prides itself in low turnover and extensive training — that’s why we call ourselves the «experts». We hope you see and feel our expertise in everything we do!
