Established in 2008.

David received his real estate license in 1998 and worked for a thriving real estate and apartment locating company for 9 years. After gaining valuable training and experience, David launched his own enterprise and he credits the success of his company to God and the long list of happy clients who continually refer him business. David and his team are committed to serving his clients with integrity, experience, skill and top-​notch service.

David and his wife, Marisol started DavidTheLocator and Innovative Realty Group in 2008 in their home and quickly obtained their current offices shortly thereafter in Seabrook. David has earned the following designations to serve his clients better and understands the need for ongoing and continuing education.

We just moved to Houston from Southern California. We couldn’t afford to fly in to look at apartments so we put our trust in David to help us find a safe and convenient apartment to rent. We told him what we wanted and he sent us a list of great options. He was able to answer all of our questions to help us narrow down our choices. We made our selection and are now settled in to an awesome apartment community!

If you are active or prior military with a VA Loan, call David Moore! Military Family Friendly!
If you are needing help purchasing or renting a new, then David Moore and his team are the ones to go to! David aided and guided my husband and I purchasing our first home. We were using a VA loan and David was very knowledgeable and patient with us. As a first time home buyer, I was defiantly blowing up his phone, email and text with questions and inquiries. My husband and I were kept up to date with all homes we were interested in.
Buying a home is an ordeal. From finding the right neighborhood, thinking about the future and of course falling in love with the home. We had gotten burned with a previous realtor company and were very afraid of the process. David was stern about his opinion on homes and neighborhoods! Which was a good thing for us! He had our best interest at heart and we loved that about David. Even when David went on vacation his other realtor James was always ready to show me a house. We must of looked on average at least 4 houses minimum each time I called!
We love David and his team, we will not use any other company when we eventually need to sell our home. We love David and we are extremely happy customers!

David is fantastic if you need an apartment locator we used him 3 times and experienced great customer service from beginning to end and loved our apartments. I however personally would not recommend using him when buying a home. As a first time home buyer we were relying on him to be our backbone during the process. It started out great on our first couple of searches however he became less reliable as process went on. We found the house we bought on our own and to this day day David has not seen it. As loyal customers we kept him in process but really he didn’t add much at all in representing us. He was very unresponsive and absent with some of our inquiries/​concerns and we had to reach out to other personal avenues sometimes to get out questions answered. Overall if it is just an apartment locator you need David is your guy, but I will not be using him in home buying process in the future.

We are moving from Boston to Houston this summer, and found David Moore online. We had no experience with the area, and only got to visit for a few days, so we were nervous about getting everything done on time and finding a nice place. With David’s help, we found a great house and had the lease application accepted on the first day of our visit.
David was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. He pointed out potential benefits and problems with houses we saw and the neighborhoods we were visiting, which we wouldn’t have known to look for since we don’t know Houston at all. Best of all, he was very proactive in helping us get the lease. He had vetted the properties ahead of time, and from talking to us about what we were looking for, he knew that this one was likely to be one of our favorites. So before we arrived he had already contacted the landlord and put most of the pieces in place so that if we wanted the lease we could act fast. We ended up getting the lease even though there were already two applications pending when we got into town.
We would definitely recommend David to anyone looking for housing in Houston, and we’d work with him again if we decide to move!

Dave was awesome. I recently relocated to Houston from Philadelphia and I had some issues finding the right apartment. I gave Dave a list of what I was looking for and he came back with multiple apartments that fit my needs. I decided on one and have been happy ever since. I appreciated his knowledge of the area and genuine personality. It’s nice doing business with people who have your best interest in mind. I would highly recommend Dave and his company to anyone. You will not go wrong doing business with him!

I was searching for an apartment in Houston and getting tired of all the research and price comparison. Checking
and trying to weed through the reviews that are obvious shills and disgruntled former tenants to find some real info on a complex is exhausting. That’s why I ended up turning to David Moore for help. He was extremely helpful and friendly and made it easy to narrow down my list to a select few.
What I find especially great is that David shares his knowledge and experience with all the complexes I asked about which allowed me to feel more confident about the apartments I went to tour. And best of all is that it cost me nothing. I would absolutely recommend David to my friends in the future.

Worked directly with David on finding a place in Houston after my company transferred be down here on short notice. I was all over the place assuming a new role, getting into the new job, and trying to find a place to live. Admittedly, I gave David a wide set of vague parameters and David worked with me quickly and diligently to narrow down my search results and was great about suggesting areas I should consider and finding places that met my requirements in those neighborhoods. Would absolutely work with David again and would recommend him to anyone looking for a place in greater Houston.

David was great! I’m a travel nurse. I called and told him what I needed for an apartment. He immediately got back to me with multiple options. We narrowed it down to 3. I went to see these on a weekend. All were great and would have met my needs well. I chose my favorite and live here now and love it.
Now I’m moving to a new area. Called David again. His staff is also extremely helpful. Once again gave me multiple listings for what I needed in my price range. Narrowed it down to 3. Went to see them on a Saturday. Each was great. I picked my favorite and will be moving soon.
I can’t say enough about this service. Very personable, friendly, honest and straight up with what you want and what they can do for you. It’s a free service. Nothing to lose!

We used David Moore (David the Locator) to find our apartment when we relocated to Houston from California. Due to the circumstances of our move, we had to rent a place sight unseen, and needed the assistance of someone in the area. I found David through an internet search, and he was very helpful and responsive. We gave him the area of my husband’s new job and our other criteria (space, price, safety, etc), and he got back to us with a list of choices, which we narrowed down to two. He then worked with the apartments for costs, etc. Once we made the final decision, the rest was up to us to complete the lease, etc. We have been very happy in our temporary home and with David’s service.
Why not 5 stars? Because of the numerous phone calls at the end of our lease. Honestly, I don’t even know how he knew exactly when the lease was up, since he was not involved in that part. We have now bought a home and used a different realtor for that, mainly because we wanted someone who specialized in our area of interest (Cy-​Fair) and David is in Seabrook. David’s office called repeatedly, during the work day, leaving messages that if we needed assistance at the end of the lease, to call. Well we didn’t need help, so I didn’t call back… but they kept calling, even after I answered once and explained I could not talk during work hours. I finally had to step out of a work meeting and take a call and talk to them, which has hopefully now stopped the calls. I did not know that by using them, I would somehow «owe» them information later.
I still highly recommend them for apartment locating, but understand they will call… repeatedly…at the end of your lease and do not take the hint if you do not call back.
