I drive all the way from Whittier just to get my eyebrows threaded here, because they’re that good. I’m so glad they reshaped my eyebrows, I’ve gotten so many compliments I’m definitely gonna become a regular!

I normally go to a Ziba but i was in the area and needed a quick threading. There was no wait, the lady was super nice and professional, and i was done in less than 5 min. This place is clean and super convenient with plenty of parking in a small quiet plaza. The prices are very competitive to Ziba and they have a $ 2 off Unilocal deal. It was a great experience.

One of my favorite threading place since I stopped waxing!!! I always request Chia! She is the best I’ve ever had!!! If you call the day of and make an appt. You get in so much faster!

I love these ladies here at Brow Mantra! A friend recommended me to them and I went and I told him who referred me and now whenever me or my friend come in she always ask how we’re doing, super adorable! They do such a great job, after they do your eyebrows they give you a little temple massage. Their prices are not that bad either, $ 9 for eyebrow threading.

Bansi did a great job on my eyebrows! I came in on a Saturday and she took me right away. She was extremely fast and efficient. I will definitely be back to see Bansi.

Greatest service ever and it never hurts! I love the 2 off on Unilocal too… Very gentle and the massage afterword is. Bonus!

a few updates later i wanted to give one more to shout out my fave ladies. really, i have found that every gal here is outstanding… i’ll say that i get more and more comfortable once i get the perfect shape with one girl and i’ll stick with her as long as she’s there the day i go in. yesterday both neha and chai were working and they are both super awesome! i went with chai this time, so i’ll review her service this time around. chai is always VERY thorough, which i appreciate incredibly. she’s friendly, she makes sure she understands your wants and needs before she starts and her work is impeccable! my arch is exactly what i want each time i’ve gone to her… no strays… nothing wonky… i highly recommend her! i’ve had neha before as well and i’ve always gotten what i’ve wanted.
overall…brow mantra is where it’s at!

I got my eyebrows threaded and it wasn’t as painful as I thought it would be! The lady was really sweet and efficient. I told her just to clean up my brows and they look great.

Just leaving from Brow Mantra and my brows look great! The nice woman who worked on me did a nice little massage on my skin afterwards. Nothing super fancy about this place but it’s a great price for awesome service/​results! Plus, with the Unilocal discount, you get an additional $ 2 off!

I’m new to the area and I needed my brows and upper lip done desprately. Found this place on Unilocal and when I walked in. I was impressed. It looked very nice, clean, organized, and the waiting area very comfortable. I sat waiting for my turn. So as I sat down on the hot seat. Everything was smooth then she was almost done she filled in my brows & I went about my day satisfied. Though the next day with no makeup, cleared of every product, I noticed my brows were uneven/​thiner than the other one. Also noticed I broke out above my upper lip & it was not one or two blemishes. I had over 20 little ones all over my upper lip. It was not pleasant. Though I hate to say. I don’t think I’m going back.

Waste of $ 7! Lady was nice, but has to get rethreaded because she didn’t get any of the eyebrow hair. Don’t waste your time or money.

I’m sad to say I think I’ve had my last service here. Indu was my go-​to and I was told she would not return (Indu if you come back, let me know!).
Disappointed, but loyal, I came back twice. The new brow artist made a nice shape but the process was painful that I was left with a scab under my brow that was visible for a week. I returned today. Same artist, even more painful. When I told her to be gentler, she was dismissive. And then I shared the scab, and then she relaxed. I just wanted out of the chair. The shape wasn’t cleaned but I didn’t care.
Perhaps in a few months I’ll try again. For now, I’m good on brow mantra.

Went back a few times and each time it was worse. The lady doing the threading kept slapping my arm when she wanted me to hold. Very rude. Will not come back.

Threading can be very painful. I was very lucky to find Indu here. She is very gentle, and her threading hardly hurts at all. I’m not sure why it’s different with different people. My eyebrows are a little on the crazy side, long and little scars that can make it difficult to shape my eyebrows. Indu went over what she planned to do for me before she started, which I appreciated, and then you get your relaxing head massage after it’s all over. :)

My favorite and only place I go to to get my brows done. The ladies are so sweet and really listen to you. I love the mini massage afterwards. Totally puts you in a peaceful spot after a long day at work.

This review is so overdue! I’ve been with Neha for over a year and I couldn’t be happier. We discuss the shape of my brows and she goes slow when we’re trying something new. Customer service is always welcoming and their new Earthbody* skin line is amazing! My skin has never looked better. I purchased rose hydrosol and dehydrated milk exfoliant. I plan to purchase the rest of this line. Check this place out!

Wow, this place is so legit and reasonably priced. Came in for some threading and was in and out in under 5 minutes. Neha did a great job on my eyebrows and gave me a stamp card for frequent customers. So glad I found Brow Mantra.

Ive been coming here for 2 years. Now, I think you can can go to any old threading salon to get your eyebrows done (at least for me since im not that particular about my brows, already have a good shape). The way you can tell that the place is awesome, or at least that your threading tech is good, is when you get your full face threaded with minimal pain.
Yes, I have my full face threaded (brows, upper lip, chin, cheeks, sides) this whole process takes about 20 to 30 mins. What can I say, I love being baby faced.
It takes a special technician to make this whole process as comfortable as possible.
My girl Indu is the best! She has the lightest hand, just the smallest amount of pressure.
Believe it or not the eyebrows is the least painful of the whole process.
Ive had my face threaded at other salons but what sets this place apart is:
–They have face wipes for you to remove your make up.
— Indu, cuz shes awesome.
— Once all the hair is threaded, a cold towel is placed on your face. This feels so good.
— You get a mini face massage. Rubbing a combo of lotion/​toner around your face. and doing pressure points around your temples and cheek bones.
I’ve yet to see any of the technicians be rude to anyone. Yes some of them have a heavier hand than others.
For those that say that it’s painful to get your brows threaded… all I have to say is that’s a walk in the park compared to getting your whole face done.
Is it uncomfortable? Yes, you are after all getting your hair pulled out, but pain also depends on the person.
For anyone getting their face done, remove makeup, please opt out of getting the lotion placed on your face… just ask for toner. Ive found that this cuts down the chances of break outs… also go home and wash your face, apply astringent… and resist touching or scratching your face (yes, it will be itchy).
Not sure how much brows cost, but full face is $ 25 which is comparable to other salons. They also have a stamp card, once filled you get a discount.

I really loved Brow Mantra. They do a phenomenal job. The management is super nice. They always offer me tea or bottles of water. I’m sad to say that I stopped going here because one threader was incredibly rude to me everytime. I think management should know this person is shockingly mean-​spirited. It made me super uncomfortable to go there. I“m sad because I loved this place.
It never failed. She was continuously in a bad mood. I would try to make small talk with her and be super nice. She continuously lectured me for using tweezers to get my stray hairs each time. She would tell me that my eyebrows were different sizes (they weren’t)! She assumed that I thought that she was Tina (a really nice lady that worked there prior to her) and yelled at me for that once. Last time I was there, she pointed out my breakout on my face. She continuously made rude comments about my face the entire time!
I started going elsewhere since I do not want to feel like I’m burdening someone paid to do their job. This person should remain nameless. I just want this nice Seal Beach salon to be aware that they have someone that is driving business away.

A long time ago, when threading just started getting popular, my friends would always coax me and my shitty eyebrows to get them done. Each time, I cried. The procedure was painful, and I do not know why. I have waxed my eyebrows plenty times before and I preferred it over threading, and didn’t understand how people loved it so much.
But now, I understand. It’s miracle workers like Neeti that has me joining the masses in threading love.
She’s gentle. I was ready to cry again when she got to work on me, but I almost freaking giggled because I was so shocked. The eyebrow threading was pain-​free. The upper-​lip threading, pain-​wise, was a bit more irritating than painful but it was there, and she let me know if I was getting uncomfortable that I could tell her to stop. However there was no need and she finished without any problems.
Her work is very thorough, she takes her time and makes sure she gets everything, and that you are happy with the results.
I may actually switch from waxing to threading now… well, at least for my face! Thanks Brow Mantra and Neeti!
