If you are a seashell and ocean lover, you will love this place! Tons to choose from, especially if you are doing seashell crafts. My favorite are the Christmas ornaments. So cute!

The review is based on the California Seashell Companies on-​line Warehouse. I placed an order with the store on November 24^th… for 2 Mermaid pieces… I received a confirmation via e-​mail on November 24^th. The warehouse is located in Huntington Beach so I figured it would be shipped the next day. I left 3 e-​mails and never received a response. I finally called the main store on Main St. In Seal Beach and was told to call Erin in the Warehouse This was December 7^th… I called Erin and told him about the e-​mail and he barked at me that they always return there e-mails…The lady that picked up the phone told me Marisa that handled the orders was out for the day so I was given to Erin. He looked up the order and said my Credit Card had been denied… I paid by PayPal and he was rudely off base. He said he would have Marisa call me. I then got an e-​mail that night from Marisa stating that one of the items I had ordered was not in stock and my order had been set aside with intentions of checking stores for inventory… The influx of orders they forgot to follow up. I wonder when I would have heard regarding my order. My biggest complaint is Erin beginning so nasty and arrogant and placing the blame on my Credit Card. Shame Shame on them! I love the Store, but will never use the online Store again!!!

Loved this boutique! Found exactly what I was looking for which was three times more expensive online. Brett was super friendly and helpful and walked away with beautiful seashells for a mermaid costume and my niece found a gorgeous starfish bracelet!

We bought hundreds of dollars of merchandise here. Well over $ 1000. While returning an item, the owner accused me saying the item wasn’t purchased here. Clearly I had a receipt and she just wanted to be rude and obviously has issues. Then she refused to take the item back. All this for a $ 12 item vs. all the money we have spent there. The owner is rude, mean, bully and a coward. She left her store and sent her male employee to intimidate me.

This store is awesome. The people who work there are very friend. Of you can’t find what you are looking for they will show you. I went in there to get the stuff I needed and got all of it. Didn’t have to go to another store. There sales are awesome. Saved a lot of money. There coral pieces are beautiful. Bought 1 and at a very good price. They will have my business again.

Love this little store! My parents use to take me here as a child and now I continue to come back as an adult. If you come down to Seal Beach its definitely worth a visit. It’s great for souvenirs or unique gifts!

I drove down here to pickup a decorative seashell for my apartment. The store offers all kinds of beach-​themed décor, but primarily focuses on seashells. It’s a little cramped and parking can be difficult since it’s located off the main street in Seal Beach, but I found exactly what I was looking for at a fair price! I’d visit again if I ever needed something beach-​themed.

This was one of my all-​time favorite stores as a child, and 20 years later I still love it. They have such fun and interesting stuff. And whereas many shops with prime locations in touristy areas take advantage of the opportunity to overcharge people, this store consistently undercharges. I can’t believe the excellent prices.

This is a fun shop with lots of great shells, beach related items, rocks and geodes, and other things. It does have «souvenir» like items but isn’t a «souvenir shop» (i.e. t-​shirts, postcards, knick knacks, etc.).
The stuff is very well priced — not cheap but priced reasonably. So many shops with shells price them far too high. It is great for kids to pick up different items without breaking your wallet.
The staff are nice and helpful but aren’t ones that roam the aisle bugging and «watching» you.

Cute little store with every sort of seashell one could imagine, plus lots of other shore-​related goodies. The store owner/​employees are very nice and helpful and they take care packing the fragile items purchased. Very good pricing for most items, and again they have lots of variety of items. They even have Christmas themed sea shells for tree ornaments. I shop there every holiday season since I have friends and relatives with beach themes in their houses and this is a perfect venue for finding those gifts.
I will be back next December for more gifts!

Super cute store with every seashell/​beach item you can imagine at very reasonable prices!!!
They have lots of seashells in different shapes and sizes for a buck or so each, plus custom jewelry, frames, hanging decorations, posters, and even glittered seashells for a Christmas tree!
I took a quick glimpse as we were carrying our beach gear but would definitely go back and take my sweet time looking at all their stuff. Service was very friendly too!

Came in a few days ago and bought some items for the house really cool little shop. I would be giving a higher review but I purchased a hanging seashell decoration and was given the wrong item in the box. When I got home I realized it was the wrong item. Owner offered a refund of 50% of what we paid. Make sure you check your boxes before leaving the store ! Reasonable prices too

I would always come here with my dad as a kid! And I loves all the seashells and cool stuff they had. Now I bring my kids and they love all the unique shark teeth. And sea horses they have! Every time I come to seal beach I make sure we stop her! I just love this store!

If you are walking along Main Street, towards the pier, this is a MUST stop because there are many seashells and cute little trinkets to look at. The prices here are actually pretty cheap (cheaper than similar stores that I have been to) and fairly priced and the perfect place to pick up a souvenir (even if you are a local, who wouldn’t love a whole dried star fish or a polished sand dollar?).
The store itself is not that big but there is a ton of things to look at, with plenty of different types of seashells and sea related items (like whole puffed out puffer fishes, shark teeth, etc). There is also cute little signs that have fun phrases like ‘gone fishing’, etc.
Service is pretty friendly here and they make transactions here quick and easy.
Even though I have been here numerous of times, I always make sure to stop by here just to browse and will continue to keep coming here every time I am in Seal Beach on Main street.

Terrific seashell and beachy trinket shop. Prices FAR better than any shop in the South Bay. Friendly, helpful staff… the store clerk (a young man) noticed one of the shells I was purchasing was cracked… happy he found the issue before I got all the way home. Easy to find. Parking can be tricky. Great little area… lots of other shops and loads of restaurants. Stroll up one side of the street then down the other and reward yourself with a gazpacho cocktail at Walt’s Wharf a couple doors down. I’ll go back to this shop for all my beach crafts and beachy holiday decorating.

Hello Sea Shell supplies! And super affordable gifts too! Puffer fish to sliced shells to sharks in jars!
I tried really hard to spend a lot. but wow, I couldnt crack $ 10.00 with my small basket full of goodies!

Even as a local, I love this little shop. My 13 year old daughter, who has a surfer themed bedroom, finds stuff in here all the time. Kids love to spend time here. LOTS of time. I can’t drag them out of here!
Very fun beach themed items, lovely, interesting sea shells, and shell themed items, and affordable trinket jewelry for kids.
If you are coming on vacation — you don’t want to miss Main Street Seal Beach — and certainly you should spend some time browsing in this quaint little store.

Very impressive selection of random seashells. The girl who was working here was very helpful and chatty as well. She’ll tell you where to go to find some of these yourself along the shore.
Shells range mostly from 10 cents to several dollars. They have natural finishes as well as painted ones. Variety is from all over the place if I had to guess. If you’re trying to put together some shells for an aquarium or something, this is not a bad place to start.

This is a shop you hope to find at the Beach & Seal beach, Main Street has one.
It has everything a beach lover might be looking for. They have an assortment of different/​colorful sea shells, funny signs and great little knickknack gifts for any occasion.
The Seashell Company is run by a great and helpful staff.
I have been coming here for year and will continue to do so.
If you are looking for it, it is hard to miss, the wall facing Main Street is painted BLUE and it is right next to another gem, Sweet Jill’s Bakery.
Support local biz and give this place some love, they deserve it.
