Nice little grocery store. I come in here for veggies, fruit, and deli meat. Staff are always friendly.

Had a bad day today with this cashier named ROSEMARY C. She was good to the other customers except with me, thought ’cause I’m Asian and… Yes, she’s so rude and arrogant.

If I can give it no star I would. I’m somewhat patient and when the manager told me she’ll be with me in a minute I gave her more than that. Waited for 15 minutes and she decided to take care of other customers who came after me. And never attended to me. What a disappointment! Bad customer service. Never coming back that’s for sure.

Having no choice but boars head products(among the most expensive) is a load of crap! $ 14 for roastbeef $ 12 for ham– $ 8 for American cheese? I stopped buying meats here when they changed. Pain in the ass to shop somewhere else but I’m not paying almost triple!?! I asked the manager about not having a choice and she said, hmm, that’s how it is. Really? Guess they don’t need my money?

I am absolutely disgusted. I came in to buy carrots and a few days later when I was looking at the bag, I realized the CARROTSWEREEXPIREDFROMLASTOCTOBEROF2015. I am absolutely grossed out and wish I noticed it when I was there to file a complaint. Is this okay in America to sell expired food… especially Fruits and Vegetables. Have carrots on sale, ok, but not have them on sale cause they expired back in October.

Review is for Ralph’s card discount. On multiple occasions, I’ve had to return to the store because advertised discounts weren’t applied. Each time I get the same excuse«computer didn’t register» Who know how many folks have been overcharged as a result.

pharmacy is great. they never screw up my prescriptions and i refill a ton of prescriptions here a month. i have never had to wait to pickup my stuff. staff is great and friendly always smiling. also ralphs website allows you to refill your prescription online and view pickup status. i think this is great. it is a little bit out of the way for me(dt lbc) but id rather make the drive than have my prescription incorrect or have to wait because they did not refill them even though i requested a refill. write-ade and seevee-ess are the worst.

These stars are ONLY for seafood counter area! They have kids running fish fry area. Has no experience in fryer or people skills. There was a younger man who was pleasant. But young man with longer hair. Who was there today(7÷22÷15 @ 7pm, is bad has no clue). Have him bag instead. He had no idea what the seasoning is called. He had me run and get a box of Cajun mix for him that was on display. So disappointed. Both the Ralphs in Lakewood of Del Amo and the one off Warlow in Cypress have the best fryer service. The Seal Beach needs to put someone how has knowledge of what is back there and name of stuff. Again put tat Gentleman to run carts or bag… I will never go back. This store in my eyes get a 4.

been going here for 5+ years at least once a week to feed the family. i’m writing this hoping that someone from management is paying attention because there are a couple of glaring issues. 5 stars: service. the people are all very friendly and helpful. when the registers start to back up they staff new ones really quickly. can get in and out of here as fast as any market. –1 star: the seafood section is a complete joke. the stuff looks unappetizing, there is rarely anyone nearby even if you wanted something. we are like 4 miles from the ocean, PLEASE try harder. do something with this section, anything. –1 star: expired stuff. we used to get home and realize almost every time that something we’d bought was expired… sometimes REALLY expired. now we check everything perishable before we put it in the cart. we are constantly finding expired things. mushrooms, yogurt, turkey lunch meat, you name it. we found yogurt a while back that was quite literally 2 months expired. drives me nuts and shouldn’t happen. i’ll still go here, but i aint buying the fish and i’m checking everything.

Up until this week, I LOVED this Ralphs. ALWAYS spot on, friendly people. No joke, go see Kendrick or Amanda over at the deli, they will make SURE you are happy. Everyone else tries making it a point to ask if you’re finding everything &/or to just say hello. I know, it’s silly but grocery shopping is my least favorite«errand» & this store as a whole made it a lot less crappy. 1 bad experience can ruin 50 good. That saying hasn’t ever been truer for me. One person killed this store & I’m pretty sure he’s higher up on the totem pole which makes it all the worse. It’s a clean store, decent prices, ALMOST filled with great customer service.

I like Ralph’s better than the Von’s down the street. Ralph’s is always clean, produce is fresh, and the prices are competitive. I like the layout of the store. Things are easy to find. I live closer to Von’s but I make the longer trip to Ralph’s because the Von’s on Seal Beach is ghetto.

This is really the only place I grocery shop because I like everything about it, except the deli counter. I would give it a 5 star rating, but if possible I would give the deli counter a 1 star rating. It doesn’t matter if I’m the only person there, or if theres 5 people in line, its a head ache to get decent service from the deli counter. I feel they just ignore you every time and don’t treat you like a priority. Its crazy the rest of the place is so great and they just have one crappy area in regards to service. Other than that, no complaints, but if you have to go to the deli counter make sure you have time to spare!

Such a great shopping experience. The DELIEMPLOYEES where great! Super friendly. A gentleman passed by a few times in a purple-ish shirt(possibly a manager) smiled and acknowledged me every time. Another gentleman in a white shirt(looked like a manger as well) said hi, in a totally genuine way. Almost every employee I walked by smiled and greeted me, even offered assistance. I’m new to this area and I will definitely be back. 5 stars all the way! Keep it up.

This review has nothing to do with the food or any merchandise for that matter at this Ralph’s location. Everything is well stocked and clean. This review is regarding some of the worst customer experience I’ve EVER experienced, maybe the worst. So I go in after I get off work around 10:30 pm to get a few things to make for dinner. Keep in mind this Ralph’s closes around midnight. After I get my stuff I head over to pay. Only one of the numbers is lit indicating that was the only cash register that was still open. So I go to that one and I see 2 employees standing there talking and I stand there waiting for someone to acknowledge me. The man who was talking to his co worker was also cleaning the conveyor belt or whatever you call it that moves, so the cashier can ring you up and looks up at me and is like«are you serious!!!» Like practically yells it at me. I couldn’t even believe it. He didn’t say just kidding or anything and just goes back to cleaning. I was so shocked I didn’t even know what to say. But seriously? It wasn’t even 11 yet and he was closing up like it was closing time. Unacceptable, even if it had been a later time. Then finally the woman he was talking to, I think she was the manager, takes me over to another cash register and doesn’t even apologize for that mans behavior. She just excuses it by saying«oh, he is just cleaning up because it slow». Um ok? Because that makes his behavior acceptable? Whatever. Oh, and thanks for apologizing. Rude. So just an FYI don’t come here if it’s after 10pm because apparently that is when customer service goes out the window. And I hope that the managers at this Ralphs location see my review. It is unacceptable to yell at customers who are there an hour and half before closing! Makes me mad just thinking about it. Here’s a tip on training your employees: tell them that being friendly is crucial and learn what the proper closing time is. It’s really not hard whatsoever.

Best. Ralphs. Ever. This store has it all. You can almost buy major appliances here if you look hard enough. The best part is that the lines are never excessively long. They keep enough staff on hand to accommodate customers. They even have self-checkout lines for those of us who aren’t afraid to tackle technology(the residents of Leisure World should avoid this section — sorry). I always end up spending way too much money in this particular location because I can’t confine myself to just groceries. I want to buy all the knick knacks and wham whams they offer for my kitchen and I’m not normally tempted by that stuff. The back section of the store near the dairy has lower aisles that are filled with specials that are shiny and bright and that you can’t live without. It’s an interesting layout that I haven’t seen in other stores and compels me to investigate. The deli is fabulous as others have noted. This is the GO-TO Ralphs when I’m shopping for a lot of items because I know they’ll carry them all.

I’m sitting here waiting for a plumber to arrive so to alleviate my boredom I’ll review a grocery store. After the 2003⁄2004 grocery strike I stayed away from union grocery stores for years… it wasn’t until the last few I started doing business with them again(just in time for another strike possibly). I hate the Albertson’s. close to my house, it’s filthy, overpriced, and has a lame selection. Only thing cool is the hot wing bar… if they ever keep it stocked up. Vons has a nice vibe but it has ridiculous prices… it has a cool olive bar but like Albertson’s wing bar it’s always empty. Parking is always plentiful and there’s always enough cashier lines open. This Ralphs is excellent… I’m giving it 5 stars in the Union grocery store category since it’s my favorite of all the big name grocery stores within driving distance. I’m not putting this in the same category as Trader Joe’s, Bristol Farms, etc. This specific Ralphs is great. It’s super clean, has a very relaxing vibe to it, prices are very reasonable, employees are friendly, club card gives pretty good rewards such as $ 10 coupons after spending a certain amount, and lots of cool products you normally find at the smaller mom & pop grocery stores. The icing on the cake is their entire section of Boar’s Head brand stuff… deli meats, cheeses, salamis, hot dogs, etc. If this place installed a olive bar and a hot wing bar it would be perfect! And they carry frozen matzo ball soup by Tabatchnick which is really good. Not much else to say… it’s a grocery store. They sell groceries.
