Kelly is amazing! My color is perfect, the doo is perfect and she made me feel wonderful! If you haven’t been to Kelly yet, you don’t know what you’re missing.

I love this place. First of all it is very cute and small. You really feel like your getting your own personal stylist. Kelly does an amazing job. She very friendly and knows her stuff. I would definitely recommend this place!

Horrible salon. Went in for a simple color and trim. Asked for a slightly darker color than my natural blonde. Stylist made my hair bright fire red. She stained and ruined my shirt because she didn’t secure the towel and gown. She disappeared for 45 minutes at a time in the back. I contacted the owner, she said she could get me in later that week with another stylist to fix my color. The stylist said she needed to dye it dark to correct it. It turned out black and she charged me full price for another color. Worst experience I have had at any salon, ever.

I had a groupon and booked an appointment with Jill for a cut & color and asked for dark blond. Even though we looked at the swatches and selected a blond shade, my hair came out dark brown, which is much darker than my natural color. Jill said, «Oh, it will get lighter as you wash it.» I needed to go somewhere, otherwise I would have demanded she fix it right then and there. It did not lighten up, even after washing with Dawn. I had to wait several weeks until my hair could be correctly colored to the shade I originally asked for. The cut was ok, but I suggest you avoid Jill for color. Some of my neighbors also used the Groupon for a cut and color and were disappointed with the color. Jill is okay for just a cut and blowdry, which is why I’m giving her 2 stars.

I bought the group on for this tiny salon and Jill was my stylist. I requested that my color be a blonde with highlights and lowlights, I ended up a brunette with what appeared to be only poorly done highlights. After blowdrying to be sure it really was brown I let Jill know that this was not the color I had asked for, I did not have more time that day to fix the color. She told me I could come back after my vacation if I would like and she would ‘fix’ it. Then she charged me the full price that I had paid on the Groupon to pay for the lowlights (as highlights came with the group on).
I wouldn’t go back there even for a free color. Service was friendly, but if you cannot do a good job at cut and color whats the point of being a stylist?

We bought this deal on groupon and I made a mistake of not reviewing the place first, went there with my sister in law for her birthday when I made the appointments the lady on the phone said she will bring in the girls for us, we walked in and were shocked to see that the place is sooooooooo tiny. There’s only 3 chairs 1 washing chair and 3 ladies already working on 2 girls, which meant we were not going to get our hair done at the same time. After all 3 girls kept trying to convince us that we don’t have appointments or its next Sunday or no no its for 1 person only! 1 of the girls said oh alright I’ll stay and do it. Thank u for ur charity! We kept telling each other that we should just go! And forget the money cuz we knew this was not going to end well. This place is a big mistake!

Where do I start? Maybe with Kelly — she was very helpful and made getting an appointment a breeze… Then when I was a tad late and called in a panic, Kelly put my mind at ease. Then, I sat with Cameren and we hit it off right away. She colored my hair just right. What’s even more awesome is that after I explained how I want my hair cut… She cut it perfectly… That is not easy to do because I have a lot of hair and it’s got a mind of it’s own! Thank you, Shampoo Salon! I will be recommending you to all my friends.

let me just say that I will not be back. I hate to be rude but I had a horrible experience. From the moment I got there. No one knew who was suppose to be doing my hair. Very unorganized.
I bought a groupon for cut, partial highlight and blow dry. MY FAULT. There’s a reason why there’s a groupon deal, because they lack the clientele, whatever the reason is, you decide. I told the lady what I wanted and I don’t think she knew how to do it but she still went ahead and attempted. My highlights look so bad. There are areas that look good but if you look closer, it is a horrible and unprofessional job.
And then the blow dry. Wow. It was the worst blow dry i’ve ever experienced. I do a better job and i just learned a couple months ago. Everything was rushed and it was just an overall bad experience.
Moral of the story, you get what you pay for.

Kelly knew exactly what she was doing and my hair turned out great I definitely recommend going to the shampoo salon I will go back!

If I could give 10 stars I would! Camren (not Camron) did a fabulous job on my hair.
She fit me in on Sunday! She listened to my needs! The place is brand new! very clean and great parking!

It’s hard to find a stylist that truly knows how to take care of your hair. I came to Shampoo Salon at an attempt to try another stylist in hopes that I could find the one. My hair, I felt, was damaged by a previous stylist when they overdid the highlights. The staff here was helpful and made me realize it wasn’t so bad. I wanted to chop it off, but they wouldn’t have it!
I’m not that great at explaining what I want, but Camren definitely understood what I was trying to say. The friendliness and expertise made it for a much better experience.
I can say that I will definitely come back and will tell people about them. The prices are very reasonable and I felt very relaxed with not having product shoved in my face. She even stated that if I felt like something wasn’t done right she would fix it for free. How amazing is that? I don’t feel like I will be going back to fix it because it’s perfect but it is so reassuring that they say that. I absolutely loved my experience with them, and thank them for letting me trust someone else with my hair once again. Thanks Camren!

I love the new space for Shampoo and I always enjoy a visit with Kelly and Cameron. They are so sweet and I leave feeling and looking beautiful. Kelly has been my stylist for over 2 years and I always trust her opinions and skills.

Kelly Ripley (the owner of Shampoo Salon) is an amazing stylist. She genuinely cares about her customers. I travel an hour to see her every month because she’s that good. I trust her to try new styles with my hair for important events and TV appearances. She’s fun to talk with and I always feel wonderful when I leave her salon. I like her creativity, professionalism, and friendliness. I always enjoy my hair appointments.
