There’s a star here just because they offer jello shots, and anyone selling jello shots gets a star from me. The lack of other stars is due to the *filthy* tables outside(look in the crevices… no, don’t) and the fact that the service is some of the rudest and least friendly I’ve seen in a long while. Time and again, not a smile or a hello. I say thank you as we walk out, I get a glare… once is a bad day, multiple times is an operations issue. Not really compelling me to order a meal, that’s for sure. But $ 1/jello shot, ok.

Came here last night for a couple drinks and to-go dinner. We checked our orders when we left — a big kahuna burger and mozzarella sticks. From what we could see, our whole order was there. I got back to our hotel and started to dig into my $ 9 dollar mozzarella sticks only to be greeted with zucchini sticks. I was beyond irritated. Particularly because the waitress confirmed I said mozzarella sticks, yet I still got zucchini sticks. It’s not as though I was going to walk all the way across town just to get new ones. By the way, even if I did like zucchini sticks, these were really lame excuses for such expensive mozz sticks. My husband’s burger was pretty much raw — no happy medium. For the love of god, just spare yourself and go to Dairy Queen or something.

I came here because my friends said it was good so I came in with high expectations. First of all the service there was horrible, i thought the waitress was slightly rude. Secondly the food was not good either and it was expensive for the portion size. The Hawaiian Chicken with rice was too spicy that we couldn’t finish it. We ended up taking it to go and got charged extra for the to go box. I will not be returning on any future trips to seaside.

Wrongfully reviewed this restaurant because I had it mistaken with the Big Kahuna bar and grill. A lot of these reviews seem to be aimed at the bar and grill instead of the pizzeria.

We visited last weekend, look like a neat place to have a drink and appetizer. There was two mid age waitresses that resented be there, seen them rolling their eyes at other customers. We waited forever for another drink… nope, no service, tried to get our bill… waited as a nice gentleman took our money. The ladies seemed to be family members that didn’t want to be there. Neat place though and the gentleman was very professional.

Not really sure why so many negative reviews. Our good was fresh and very tasty, good service and we would come back. Also very reasonably priced!

Saw the advertisement outside for $ 10 fish n chips so we decided to go in. We ordered the clam chowder first and it was horrible, tasteless and must of come out of a can. We then were looking fwd to some tasty fish n chips since we were near the ocean. Wow, big mistake the cod n chips came and there was 3 micro small pieces of fish that were completely overcooked in the fryer. They were probably smaller than a size of an egg. The service matched the food, our waitress was not very polite. Will not be going back and would recommend to keep walking till you find another restaurant…

I think the food was alright, when the waitress could get the orders right. We went for the Big Kahuna burger, their signature menu item mind you, and when the food came everything was totally wrong. No big kahuna in sight and some random chicken whatever. I do understand mistakes with orders. Not a problem-but to then be so rude like it was our fault? No. That’s where I draw the line. This place is a hole. I wouldn’t recommend at all.

Echoing others in that I really wish I had Unilocaled the Big Kahuna before eating there. Yuck. My husband had the«teriyaki chicken with vegetables» which was Uncle Ben’s long grain rice with some dry slivers of chicken and stir fried veggies, all topped with chopped nuts. Not at all what one would expect from a «Hawaiian» themed restaurant. I had the coconut shrimp which was ok, but way overpriced. One daughter had fish and chips, which were frozen fish sticks and fries. She didn’t eat them With tax and tip, we were out $ 50 for a lot of mediocre food. The next night, we had sushi, soup, salad and entrees at a different restaurant for less! Don’t waste your time or your money.

Wow, I am really sad to see all the bad reviews! This is the hawaiian place right behind the bee bop burger place? My husband and I were pleasantly surprised when we ordered the teriyaki chicken and rice. I thought it was going to be just a mound of rice and a chicken breast, but we were presented with a heaping pile of chicken, veggies(squash, red pepper, zucchini, pea pods and green beans), rice with cashews. It was reeaaallly really good, and nice and light after a day of walking around… maybe it was a new chef? There was a funny little room in the back with slot machines. Only bad thing about the place was the weird taste in music!

Oh my… how I wish I had looked at this place on Unilocal before walking in the door… Walked in randomly while wandering around with a friend… menu look alright, we wanted some drinks too, so seemed like a good idea. The environment isn’t so bad… corny like most beach places are. Tables were sticky. Service was friendly. But the food? YUCK. My friend had the shrimp and fries… very blah [that’s complimentary considering the look she gave me when i asked her how it was]. I ordered the teriyaki chicken and rice… and got a plate of nasty rice, topped with a plethora of undercooked vegetables [red onions, peppers, sliced zucchini and yellow squash], then topped with really overcooked chicken that was smothered in really watery gross teriyaki sauce. It was appalling. I hardly ate any of it. I’d have sent it back… but with what complaint? It’s just gross? Sigh. This was a total fail of a lunch spot. Will not return and advise all against even trying it… nooooootttt worth it. Hopefully you read these reviews before it is too late!

I have spent many a day in Seaside over the years, and I have never tried this place. I tried today because I was starving and wanted a burger. I should have chosen Sam’s instead. I was the ONLYONE in the inside dining area. I walked in past two staff at the bar and sat in the back. I waited there for 20 minutes before I got up and went to the front to ask if I could order. They were surprised to see me! I ordered the Mushroom Swiss burger. When it was brought out, it was two slim patties with some canned mushrooms poured over them. The mushrooms weren’t even warm. If I wasn’t so hungry, I would have left it and walked out. I ordered a beer with my ‘dinner’. A Longboard Lager. It was cold. Flat, but cold. After finishing, the staff brought my bill which I immediately paid with a credit card(maybe I will dispute the charges later). If there was a rating lower than one star, I would give that… maybe a –2 star. Stay away from this place. It is hard to find and that, is a good thing.

Holy hell, of all the places at Seaside why did I have to go here? GF tried the clam chowder bowl, was kind of excited about it, but that’s where it ends. The«chowda» was nothing, tasteless and runny. I had a salty chowda at Portland City Grill(See my review) and now a tasteless chowda. Combine the two and probably could have been a decent chowder. Had the Kalua pulled pork sandwich… tasted more like BBQ pork sandwich. The price you pay for the food, not worth it. Décor is nice, likely a better bar to drink beers with friends but food isn’t that great. Service was iffy. Excuse me while I go pound sand…

If I could give this place NO stars I would. Food taste and looks like Healthy Choice microwavables priced 5 dollars more than its worth. Staff was slow and rude. Only reason we ate here was because the kids were tired and starving. We should have walked a couple of blocks to another place. It would have been well worth it instead of this crap. Do yourself a favor and keep walking!

This place was the worst choice to have lunch. The staff was rude and inattentive the prices are extremely high for what you get. I had the chicken fingers basket for 8.75 and when it came with only 2 chicken strips I asked if they gave me the children portion but was told no. It’s a joke don’t waste your time or money here.

Not worth my money or time. When staff don’t want to eat the food, you know it’s not very good. The tap water tasted like poo, and it was in everything. Clam chowder was subpar.
