Dr. Park and his staff helped me get over my fear of the dentist. I had been terrified to get into the dentist’s chair for 18 years, and thanks to Dr. Park’s calm demeanor and efficiency I no longer have to worry about finding a good trustworthy dentist. The staff are extremely friendly and all greet you by name, and the receptionist is kind and patient. They take payments as well, and are flexible with the repayment plan if your insurance doesn’t cover as much as you thought.

I (unfortunately) have had some extensive dental work done recently, and I was not excited about it. If you hate the dentist, 4^th and Madison will make you hate it less. Cheryl, the receptionist, is an absolute sweetheart and will ask how you’re doing. The catch? She actually cares. It’s nice. Dr Park is meticulous and clearly takes patient care and «chairside» manner very seriously. A kind man who is good at what he does. My first visit there, which was just a cleaning, was so thorough. They even got a little camera so I could check out their work. I have had nothing but positive experiences with the hygienists, but Sunita is my favorite. She has a very calming presence and explains everything.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Park and his staff for almost a decade and have always been happy with his work. When I saw Dr. Park for the first time I was so anxious and refused to smile because of my teeth. I had lost a lot of bone in my upper jaw and needed and very long bridge — about 7 – 8 teeth. Dr. Park promised me he’d fix my mouth and he did just that and was able to ease my anxiety about my situation. I have the most amazing bridge and he restored my self confidence. That front office staff is excellent and friendly and I love my hygienist. As much as I hate going to the dentist, I always know my experience will be good. If you are looking for a dentist office — check them out!

Everyone here is so friendly! My cleaning went so fast and Dr Park got my cavity done quick and painless. And they give you a whole little kit with a new toothbrush, floss, toothpaste and chapstick! i love it! :)

Boo-​urns. Went here a few times. Had some fillings done, a crown installed, and a few check-​ups. The work was fine, no complaints.
No trouble until the crown began acting up right before Christmas. I went in with extreme pain, Dr. Park claimed I was «fine» and sent me on my way. I never much cared for his chairside manner, but found him especially dismissive and unreceptive to what I had to say.
Long story short, I spent the holiday in urgent care needing a root canal.
It’s a shame because I really like the staff here. The folks at the front desk, the hygienest, and dental assistant are all extremely friendly and helpful. Probably fine if you just want routine cleanings and check-​ups, but if you need someone to grind on your grill, steer clear.

I have been coming here for a couple of years. The entire staff has always been great. Dr. Park is so calm and soft spoken and hasn’t suggested anything I don’t need. He is even working with me to get some chips on my front teeth from when I was younger and thought they were all purpose tools fixed. Today I was scheduled for a teeth whitening procedure and Cheryl advised against it because I haven’t quit smoking and recommended a basic cleaning instead because of how smoking will negatively impact my teeth after the whitening is done and ran a pre determined benefit for the chip repairs to make sure that my insurance will cover them and have a price for me when I do it rather than guessing and hoping it will be covered. They are by far the best dental team I have been to since I was a child and went to Dr. Ribrary in Gig Harbor. I hope I never need to go to any other dentist but them. If you go you won’t be Disapppointed.

I have been a long time patient of Dr. Park and I’m really distressed about all the bad reviews that have popped up recently. Also, why is Unilocal filtering out all the good reviews he’s received? I’ve had multiple fillings done here and Dr. Park is gentle, quick, and fun to be around. His staff is awesome! I highly recommend this office.

STAY AWAY! I have confirmed that this dentist orders unnessary procedures. It’s not worth your time or money.
I’ve been going to this dentist office for more than 15 years. A few years ago my favorite dentist retired and sold to Dr. Park. While I love the receptionist, I wasn’t a big fan of Dr. Park because he never remembered me and his cigarette breath wasn’t my favorite. But, a creature of habit, I kept going. He kept insisting that I get major work done (a root canal or similar) and then the next time I saw him he’d forget all about it and suggest something different– also major work. It finally came to a head when he told me that since I had waited so long with a gap in my mouth, that I’d have to do $ 6K of reconstructive surgery– even though I had been there every six months and he had never suggested any such work. Plus, the X-​Ray he was showing me was a year old!
I ran into one of the old staff and they confirmed that they quit when they realized he was ordering unnecessary procedures. Don’t go here. Get a better dentist.

Junk… dont go here.
I went here and got a bunch of dental work done based on Dr Park’s recommendation, later to find out that he recommended a lot of unnecessary work.
Issues
— 2 fillings fell out after 6 months. BAD!
— a couple crowns, new dentist told me that the crown work was really bad b/​c it was created too big. BAD!
— Rushed me to do procedures without properly telling me. BAD!
New dentist is amazing, in comparison, it is night and day difference.
Your teeth are important, if you value your teeth dont come here.
FYI: you NEVER see Dr Park’s name as a «Top Dentist» in Seattle Metropolitan Magazine or any other lists.

I love the staff and the gentle dentist. The office is filled with such good people, I never mind making the time to have a cleaning or check up. My husband is British, so we’re at the dentist fairly regularly and the people here make it bearable. Highly recommended!

Dr. Park and his staff are wonderful people that do excellent work. As an IT Manager for a prestigious law firm in downtown Seatte, I can recommend 4^th & Madison Dental without reservation.

Hmm — what to say. Do you like to get root canals? Do you like rude dental hygienists that are slow and overly brutal? If so, 4^th and Madison is the way to go!
I am convinced Dr. Park messed up during a filling and caused me to get a root canal. His hygienist took over an hour to clean my teeth. Overall I felt there were better dentists. I’ll be looking for a new one.
