History

Established in 1911.

The Addison on Fourth was originally built as The New Richmond Hotel in 1911 to accommodate railroad travelers. The New Richmond weathered the Depression. In 1943, the Army commandeered the building for a hospital and military family housing. The conversion however was obsolete before it opened and it re-opened as a hotel in August 1944.

In 1970 the building was re-opened as the Down Town Hotel Apartments. The building fell into a decline. It was purchased by Pinnacle in 2011 and fully remodeled in 2013!
