Ajax Parking RUs

Worked fine for me. Reservation by phone was easy. Coupon discount was easy. Shuttle was fast and easy. $ 41 for 4 days after taxes.

I have used this lot many times before, but the experience has gone downhill. I had an overnight trip where I got to the lot around 8:30 p.m. and left the lot the next evening at 9:30 p.m. Charged me for 2 hours over. The coupon rate of $ 8 became $ 19+. I could have parked at the airport for that and not waited for the shuttle for 20+ minutes. Sad to have that experience.

So far I have used Ajax Parking RUs twice when traveling and would recommend it to others who are looking for long term parking near the airport. The shuttle was very prompt in picking us up from the car and it doesn’t take long to get to the airport at all. It was everything that they claim on the website they will be. Our price was even lower than we estimated which was an extra plus!
The only downsides are that it is kind of hard to find and looks a bit sketch upon first finding it. Though it was very well lit and had a security patrolling and I did feel safe leaving my vehicle there for a week at a time :).

People beware, they can change the daily rate on you without notice. They won’t honor the rate they had when you first park your car. Definitely not using them again and will surely tell others.

2^nd time: if they keep up the quality, they’ll remain my go-​to Airport parking. Still solid. Curtesy shuttle driver helped with the bags; quick drop off and pick up; AAA pricing.
The one negative is that the parking spaces are small, but everything else is everything you’d ask for, for airport parking.

This parking service has worked well for
me but it’s kind of hard to find. This most recent time I called for directions and the woman working was extremely rude and laughed at me because I was unsure which direction I was traveling on a road in an area I’m really unfamiliar with. Rude and unnecessary! So much for customer service.

I’ve used them a few times now and always had positive experience. Their drivers are very courteous and the wait to be picked up was minimal on all occasions. And their rates are great! I don’t mind their location at all. Good idea to make a reservation online to be sure your spot is reserved.

The best airport parking lot. Fast and efficient always on time and buses r in great condition. Courteous staff, convenient services!

We had a great experience here. Buses ran frequently, the drivers and lot attendants were all friendly and explained the process to us. I was a little nervous because I had read about the break-​ins in July, but I suppose those things happen sometimes. The lot looked as secure as you could hope for. Pleased with price and service.

This is a *great* inexpensive parking solution for traveling from Seattle to points elsewhere.
The lot is safe, well lit, and they have online coupons to save you money. The shuttle from the lot to the airport is quick, and when you arrive back in Seattle, just give them a phone call and they’ll have someone there to take you back to your car in about 5 – 10 minutes.
I have been using them now for four years for every long-​term parking need I have, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I am very much a fan of this little place… thanks to their reliable service and affordability, my fandom had kinda always been at a solid 3– to 4-​stars level (I mean, it’s hard to get too over-​the-​moon about airport parking). But, they have risen to that higher level for me.
The basics:
Theyhave a little gated and fenced lot in Burien, about 5 – 10 minutes from Sea-​Tac by their own little fleet of shuttle buses that run round the clock. Their parking lot holds hundreds of cars, but I’m not exactly sure how many… it’s not a mega-​lot compared to some of the other places I’ve seen, but overall it seems like a medium-​sized operation. They’re pretty easy to get to via Highway 99 and then Highway 509, or from I-​5 and 518 if you must.
The (great!) pricing:
Via their website, you can get a coupon so that each night of parking is ~$ 8 before taxes. That’s always seemed like a good, no-​frills deal to me. They have really good agency rates if you’re traveling tax-​exempt on business too.
Airport pickup:
The shuttle buses can be requested from the phones at Islands 1 and 3 at SeaTac, just the same as the other companies; look for «AJAX 2» buses, not just Ajax or you’ll end up at the wrong place. They don’t have as many buses as some of the other operations, so it may be a few minutes longer wait than others, but I think that’s worth it since I’m saving money with Ajax 2 over those other, bigger companies.
The superlative customer service:
I have always found their gate attendants and drivers to be friendly and professional. But a few months ago, they went above and beyond the call: my girlfriend and I went on a vacation, and we returned late at night to a very dead battery thanks to a dome light that we left on. One of the drivers got a super-​duper battery-​jump electric gizmo-​thing and brought the car back to life, and he did so quickly and kindly even though it was probably costing him trips and tips (we gave him some of that fat money cake for his troubles, though!).
I’ll keep coming back here until the day that a light rail hook up to Sea-​Tac makes it to Ballard [audience laughter].

Have had good experiences here but lately it’s been downhill. They seem to be waiting to have a full shuttle when going and returning from the airport. It was about a 15 minute wait on both sides. To top it off, I had to stand on the ride back because the shuttle was full. The driver was going 60mph (I saw the odometer) as I held tight to a rail. Cheap but not worth it. My time and safety are more important than a few dollars.

Been using this parking lot the last three years. We’ve never had a problem, just make sure you make reservations to park here on busy travel times!!!
I suggested this establishment to my sister in law. While her car was parked there, her vehicle along with five others got broken into. Police were called and her insurance company is going after Ajax for the damages
Don’t leave valuables in your car’!!’!!!
Rethinking about ever referring my friends and family to use this facility. Way too much negative reviews and horrible customer service will make me use another parking lot. Saving a couple of dollars isn’t worth the bullshit you’ll have to put up with.
And I would bet money that most of the car brake ins on there lot are employees knowing where all the cameras are and when and where is the best spot to break into cars.

Ajax is a little further from SEA than some competitors. Also, cheaper. Definitely friendlier. Everyone, pretty much every time, from your shuttle bus driver to the cashier you pay at the gate, greets you with genuine warmth. It’s freaking pleasant. Who expects their airport parking experience to give any particular pleasure at all?
Ajax is our family’s first choice every time.

WE HAD OUR CAR BROKEN INTO HERE!!!
Only park here if you don’t mind having your car broken into. My husband and I came back from vacation only to find his truck broken into! His window had been smashed in.
More than that, we were one of 9 vehicles that had their window smashed in. Clearly their staff isn’t concerned with the well being of the property entrusted to them, because the thief did a thorough toss of the car and it was obvious that they took their time. WITH 9 CARS!!! And they got away and will likely never be caught!!! The staff didn’t call the cops until after it was over!
And, to top it all off, they refuse to pay for the repair and had an attitude about it when my husband first reported it. The manager gave a half hearted apology but didn’t care at all. She stayed on the phone with my husband for literally less than one minute… just long enough to essentially tell him to go kick rocks.
Needless to say, you get what you pay for. We will NEVER park here again, and if you value your property, you will learn from the mistake that we and the 8 other cars made.

Tonight Ajax held us and 2 other cars for over 20 minutes in their pay line as a result of some system glitch. To make matters worse we were rushing our infant and toddler home after a late flight… both were quite unhappy (screaming/​crying) and needed a moving vehicle to fall asleep.
I got no response from the booth agent when explaining our situation and offering to pay with cash to get on the road. There was no apology or explanation of why we we’re being held up.
When we were finally able to pay I complained to the manager about the wait (older woman with grey curly hair who showed up after ~20 minutes of waiting). Her immediate response was to basically yell at me and complain about how inconvenienced she was to come down at that hour and deal with this issue. (i was blown away by her response). Not until we were driving away did she offer a simple «sorry for the wait.»
After 10+ years of using Ajax (and easily more than 2k in parking costs), I’ll never be back.
You’d think in situations like these a company would focus on keeping customers happy an retaining their business. The sort term gain is a big long term loss.

I was never told were to park but the service is definitely convenient and cheap (with the coupon). Pickup was pretty quick too when I came back… it took them 5 – 10 minutes.
No issue at all, will definitely consider them the next time I need to park my car at the airport or should I say near the airport.

I never wrote a review for Ajax because I thought «all these car lots are the same.» NOT TRUE!
For the first time, I tried a competitor (WallyPark) and had a horrible experience. But let’s focus on the positive of Ajax:
— so inexpensive; especially with that coupon
— prompt service from airport (I thought this was a «given» in the parking service but WallyPark took over 20 minutes to pick me up and is about .5 miles from the airport. Don’t let Ajax’s location discourage you– they are still much more prompt than a lot of the competition)
— great costomer service! Twice when parked there, my car’s tire went flat from a previous issue. Both times, the Ajax staff had me come to their front office and they filled my tire with their pump– so great!
I can’t recommend Ajax enough! They are the best!

I was introduced to Ajax R Us one day when I forgot to reserve a spot at their sister lot, Ajax 1. I’m glad that lot was full that day because Ajax R Us is now my go-​to parking lot whenever I travel!
Ajax R Us is less than ten minutes away from the airport. It’s located away from most of the other airport parking lots, it’s definitely worth the extra couple minutes drive for me.
Why is Ajax R Us different than any other airport parking lot around Seatac? First, the price is hard to beat. They have a coupon online, which makes it $ 7.75 plus tax per day. More importantly, I always feel comfortable and safe parking my car there. Their shuttle service pulls up right next to your parking spot, so you don’t have to drag your heavy luggage at all from your car. Also, their customer service is one of the best I’ve seen from airport parking lots. One time, I called them to ask if they could swing by my car to check to see if they saw the item through the window (I was paranoid that I lost something on my trip!) It was an inconvenient request for them, but they were super nice and checked for me instantly.
Overall, Ajax R Us is one of those businesses I love reviewing on Unilocal because of their consistently great service and good value. Five stars for sure!

I have only good things to say about the staff and infrastructure of Ajax Parking R Us. I’ve flown out of Sea-​Tac many times, normally I contend with painful public transportation, which tends to always turn into a hot mess one way or another (transferring on 3^rd ave at night in the rain, you can imagine). For only about ten more dollars than the dirty/​unpredictable bus or train, I was able to park my car for 4 days in a safe, well lit and convenient lot.
To my exhausted terror, my car had a flat tire when I arrived back in Seattle. The Ajax team was super helpful and filled my flat tire, allowing me to get home fast and safe!
I’ll return for all of my future flights!
P. S. — The negative comments about the shuttles are ridiculous. Yes there are two Ajax lots and they both have different shuttles. Also, you have to CALL Ajax when you arrive to get the shuttle. People who don’t follow directions shouldn’t be able to leave negative reviews!
