All Covered Painting

All Covered Painting represents themselves as high-​end painters (West Bellevue, WA), but they are anything but that. The owner is extremely arrogant/​rude and is more interested in talking over you then listening to your concerns. They got overspray on everything including many of our fixtures. We specifically requested that they tarp the roof so that paint did not get on the wood shakes and although they stated they would, they did not and our roof is full of paint droppings. They even sprayed over spider webs (responding that the spiders created the webs faster then they could clean them off to paint)? Their response to us nicely informing them about the overspray was for us to get some goof off and remove the overspray ourselves? When we insisted, they send some of the original crew back that were extremely angry and rude and even then they only did a few places.
We paid them 50% initially and then another 25%, informing them that the final 25% would be paid when the overspray was cleaned up. Their response was to have their attorney send us a letter demanding payment.
We even recommended them to some friends, which we now regret.

I had a great experience with All Covered Painting. I needed a small condominium painted within 5 days before I placed it on the market. I sent my initial email on Sunday, received a phone call Monday morning, and they had a painter in my home on Wednesday. He painted the entire interior that day, and I was able to list the condo as planned on Friday. I’m very happy with the paint job and they really came through for me when I was in a time crunch!

Had All Covered Painting do our home interior. They did overall a great job and were very thorough, efficient and careful. The only negative is that there are a few spots where they had placed or leaned furniture back against the wall before the paint was completely dry — and we later discovered this damaged the paint and will need to be retouched. Overall happy with the work and would recommend.

I’ve had All Covered do everything from exterior cedar shingle replacement, to exterior/​interior paining and drywall repair. Their estimates are accurate, scheduling timely and the owner/​manager (Rich) is very prompt and reasonable. I believe you’re getting good quality for good value — something that’s hard to find these days! Highly recommended.

I selected All Covered Painting based on their positive reviews on Unilocal.Their estimate was not the lowest but definitely not the highest either. Anyway, I believe I received very good value for my money.
Rich was very prompt in getting back to me about my estimate. His estimate was reasonable and easy to understand. Even though it was approaching his busiest time of the year. they were able to get me on their schedule in a reasonable time. We started the project on time and it was completed on time.
The crew leader Jashua was very prompt & kept his crew diligently working on the job during the three days that it took to complete the project. My project consisted of painting a very high cathedral ceiling, my upstairs office, living & dining room and much of my downstairs.
They did a great job and were very open to comments and requests. They showed an excellent work ethic, a willingness to please and were very easy to work with. I was very impressed with how well the project went and how willing they were to get the job done right.
Finding a good contractor can be a real challenge and All Covered Painting is a very good contractor. I would be very willing to have future work performed by this company. My house hasn’t looked this good in some time. Thanks guys!

We would definitely hire these guys again and will recommend them to anyone looking for professional painters. Rich came out within a couple of days of contacting him to give us an estimate. After receiving estimates from 4 other companies, we decided to go with Rich and his team (and they were not even the least expensive). We have over 1,000 sq feet of deck that needed stripping and restaining, so we knew it wasn’t going to be a one day job. They came out and pressure washed our deck and then started on the sanding and staining a few weeks later as they were busy with other projects ahead of us. Very understandable given the time of year. The communication was great, quality of work was excellent, and we now have a beautiful deck to use again, and we’re so proud to show it to our friends. Thanks Rich, Manny, and all the gang at All Covered Painting!

I used All Covered when I needed to get my house in Ballard ready to sell. They did both interior and exterior. The job they did was fantastic and they actually came in a few grand under the budget that we’d agreed to because it didn’t take them as long as they projected. Everything was done in a very professional manner and they were extremely easy to work with.
Highly recommended.

These guys are great! They finished our last minute, fairly large project, with time to spare and it looks incredible. They consulted on different color schemes when I couldn’t figure out which one was better. They were fast, efficient and affordable. Our house looks beautiful, I highly recommend them.

I’m shocked by the negative reviews and I truly question the motive behind these negative reviews… Seriously folks — Look at the timing of each of these posts — one on the 25^th, another on the 26^th, and a 3^rd on the 28^th all with the same exact issue… LOL :). Karma is going to catch up to somebody.
I can tell you this is one of the VERY BEST painting companies in the Seattle Area. I have personally used them on 7 different projects and have had nothing but AMAZING results and a great experience each time. The quality of the work is top notch and the communication from Rich and Jason is stellar. I 100% recommend All Covered Painting.

Looking at the reviews below, it appears that someone has a personal vendetta against All Covered Painting. That is so wrong and a misuse of a valuable site. I picked All Covered based on the reviews here and I am happy with my choice. I am a person who actually just had my large house painted by All Covered. I paid my deposit and the work was done in a timely manner. All communications with Rich were professional and reasonable. The painters did an excellent job and checked in frequently with me to see if things were going the way I expected. My house looks beautiful and I am extremely pleased with the professionalism of both Rich and the painters. I would hire them again and would recommend them to anyone who needs an excellent exterior painting company.

This company was absolutely wonderful to work with! We used them for interior painting and some exterior work as well. We plan to use them again to paint the entire outside of our house. I’ve passed their name on to several people, all of whom were impressed with them and either have worked with them or are planning to work with them.
They arrived when they said they would, finished when they said they would, and left my house cleaner than when they got there. And the crew couldn’t have been more polite and helpful.
I found the negative reviews (which come from one person using different names possibly?) shocking because they couldn’t be more different from what we experienced. In this economy, for a company to cancel a large contract I would think there must be a good reason. I’d suggest reading all the reviews, focusing on the positives, and asking Rich for past clients to contact — you won’t be disappointed.

I have worked with the owners of All Covered Painting for over a year and a half now. They have always been professional, courteous, and responsive, and do quality work at a competitive price. I have never had any issue while working with them, and I am shocked by some of the other reviews on this page, but given the common facts, all posted at the same time, it is pretty clear that some of the negative reviews are fake. I would highly recommend working with All Covered Painting.

We have used All Covered Painting for the past few years, both on our Queen Anne home and our cabin. We have worked closely with Rich and several of the painters; they are thorough and do great work.
The one thing we have noticed after working with numerous contractors, is that these guys really care about the clients satisfaction. I would highly recommend them; we’ll actually be using them in a few months do the exterior… can’t wait for the transformation!

All Covered Painting decided they wanted to «cancel the contract» the day before work was to start even though we had signed a contract and paid the 30% deposit.
I have never had a contractor cancel a contract on me or be involved in disputes.
I requested to upgrade paint, after calling the local Sherwin-​Williams paint dealer asking about All Covered Painting contractor prices. it worked out to be double the difference. When I questioned Rich the Project manager about the price. His response was «you can pay for the upgrade or we will cancel the contract». They also wanted me to sign another contract with the upgraded price, and have the full balance due, not subtracting the deposit. That would have left me with 2 contracts, the original and the one with the upgrade and 2 fuil balances due that only I sign. The original contract did not reflect the balance already paid. They don’t sign their contracts. I felt this was a bit suspicious and the ulimatum about the upgrade sounded to me like extortion.
There was some communications back and forth that left me feeling disrespected and bullied and harassed. Questions about when I was to recieve payment and in what form that payment was were not answered directly in a way that I felt they did not intend to return the deposit. One of the responses from the owner contained
personal attack on my character and how I don’t want to know the details of their project manager’s (Rich’s) personal problems, of which he described in detail. What does this have to do with the refund?
The entire misunderstanding about the paint prices could have been handled in a swift and professional manner. It is not the customer’s problem that the project manager had a bad day because his girlfriend threatened to leave him the day the paint price was questioned. This was outlined in the owner’s email mentioned above and was one of the reason given for the cancellation. It was the project manager’s decision to cancel according to the owner. The owner said he had a «bad day».
They were very rude to me. The decided to cancel the contract before they even know I write reviews. Their excuse that about their decision was made BEFORE any review came to play. This review was written after they cancelled. It seemed more personal. I was very upset about the waste of time and had a migraine for 2 days because of their interaction. Just HORRIBLE!
After filing the Better Business Bureau complaint, I received a five page cease and desist letter from their attorney that I remove this review and the Angies List or be sued. The letter among other things accused me of making false accusation to the Better Business Bureau, and my credit card company WOW! and that they were going to forward the letter to the review sites. Sounds like they are on a campaign to ruin my reputation
This companies responses to honest reviews have been an aggressive campaign of posting malicous lies to ruin my character and reputation. They have tried and some cases successfully posted identifying information I believe this in retaliation for filing a BBB complaint against them. Ironically it feel like they are doing what they accused me of doing by posting a two page rant of malicous lies on some other private review site as a response to my review as well as making untrue disparaging remarks here on Unilocal.
This has been the most horrible experience I have ever had to deal with any company.

I loved working with this company! They are very professional, honest, and patient. They repainted the majority of my interior of my Mercer Island Home. Rich was wonderful in helping me as I had difficulty with picking colors. They were also patient as my three young sons were always asking questions and in the way.
I used another painter through a contractor on remodeling my bathroom and All Covered’s work was far superior to the other painter I used.
All Covered handled my home with the utmost care and the paint job was really impeccable and a great value!
I’ve used them multiple times now and have also referred them to friends of mine. My friends have been very happy with their work too. We appreciate the quick turn around time, professionalism, and great paint. job.
We will be painting the exterior of our house next year and won’t even bother getting quotes from anyone else.

I hired All Covered Painting to do a bit of interior painting. They were affordable, professional, and did a great job. It’s been about 5 months since the work was done and I haven’t run across any missed spots or errors in the detail work. I would hire them again when I need painting help and I’m happy to recommend them for others.

All cover painting was the best painting experience that i ever had since 10 years of owning my property. I used them first for exterior painting and then for the interior. very professional, reasonable pricing (I got 3 bids) timely manner and they have a few detail oriented painters working for them. Rich the owner, truly cares about customer satisfaction and I was super pleased with the final result. when we did the walk-​thru he pointed out little spots that needed some touch-​ups that even i missed.
