Allstate Insurance: Jeremy Olson

If it were possible, I would give this a negative score. Due to their negligence Jeremy Olson’s agency and in specific the agent ‘Sonia’ with their company has caused me over $ 7,000 in penalties to my auto loan lender. Sonia my insurance agent, ‘forgot’ to add my credit card information (as documented and discussed with her) to reinstate my auto loan insurance information (due to a stolen credit card) to her All State under righter and because of this I’m paying the price in over $ 7,000?!
Not to mention the countless double charge to my account, then issuing a credit, which has happened on multiple occasions.
Use any other insurance besides this Jeremy Olson’s agency, his agent Sonia was terribly rude over the phone, worse customer service. I’m now dealing with a very large penalty due to one of Jeremy Olson’s employees.
Needless to say, I will be switching insurance agencies.

Met with Cody Reed to switch my insurance over. Very helpful and respectful. They were also nice and gave me info on registering my vehicle. Would recommend.

I’ve been receiving exceptional service from Steven Harris for my car and home insurances for the past 3 years. Steve is incredibly responsive, efficient and got me the best rates I could find on the market. Wholeheartedly recommended!

If I could give these people a zero I would.
I’ve had so many problems with them regarding my car & home insurance policies.
The reason why is because they don’t listen.
Never had so much problems with an agent then we have with this one.
After 10 years we are actively searching for a new more caring agency.

They are always reevaluating my policy to ensure I have the best coverage possible. Their rates are also better than anyone else I looked in to. I will never work with another insurance carrier. I recently switched from State Farm to Allstate. My first experience was signing up via the internet. This was a very easy process that provided the opportunity to learn about my auto policy in a very user friendly way. I then called Jeremy Olson Allstate and had the opportunity to speak with Steven Harris. Steven was fantastic! He was very informative and walked me through my current policy and we spoke about ways to enhance the policy. He was extremely patient and allowed me ask my questions and provided informative and helpful responses that allowed me to purchase the right type of coverage. Thank you Steven for making my first experience with Allstate such a positive one! I do believe that your insurance is only as good as your agent… and judging my Steven, I know by insurance needs are covered!

I can’t believe, after the poor experience with this agency in the previous rating, that they would have the nerve to solicit me again, via text on my cell phone.

Steve was AMAZING. Seriously… you can tell that he genuinely is paying attention and cares about the customer. Great guy!

I’ve been with this agency for a number of years (happily) but just stated working with Steve Harris as I had some questions on my policy and needed some follow-​up with my mortgage lender. Steve is super responsive, knowledgeable and friendly. He patiently explained some of the jargon included in a letter from my lender answered all my questions and took care of the documentation the lender needed (because really, who has a fax machine in their home… anyone?). Also, he returns calls quickly which I appreciate. Because nobody enjoys dealing with insurance stuff. So it was nice to get it over with and have a good experience on the phone.

The Olson Agency has been absolutely professional. I’ve been with Allstate for 5+ years and couldn’t be happier with the level of service I receive from this agency. I work specifically with Steve Harris who has been tremendously helpful. I insured my apartment, car, and eventually my condo with him and he always helped me find the best deal possible. Although most importantly, Allstate has been easy to work with when filing an auto claim. They make the process seamless and guide you through the process every step of the way. Been quite impressed by the level of service. As corny as this sounds, I really do feel like I’m in good hands! Haha.

This review is for Steve Harris at this agency. I shopped around a few years ago when we moved to Seattle for different agencies as well as agents of Allstate. Steve was the easiest person to work with and was very responsive (and I have a lot of detailed questions). He was always very patient and always gets back to me. Thankfully, we never had any claims, but I do feel confident that if we had ever run into trouble, Steve would have had our backs.

Jeremy Olson Allstate Insurance has been really great. They go out of their way to make sure that you are treated well in a no-​pushy environment. They are also there too if you do have a problem and follow up afterwards to make sure that everything went well.
My contact agent in Steve Harris. Steve helps me in so many ways, I hope that I can give you a good idea of what you are missing not to have this agency behind you. They help with the following: They help make the payments over the telephone when they are duem, they help give you advise if you need coverage or not when you are renting a car, they look to save money for you if possible by recommending only what is needed, my agent also helps with questions that I have on my out of state properties covered by Allstate. However, it is easier for me to make contact with Steve and there are no time differences and Steve usually can find the info that I need within a very short time or he calls or e-​mails me back right away. Steve also helps with with paying bills to Hagerty Insurance which is affiliated with Allstate. Steve gets my reimbursements of my towing and road service to me usually in no later than a week. When we were hti by another vehicle, they made it easy to go to whereever we wanted and they took care of the rest including rental car. Steve also took care of our infant! How many agents do this? Perhaps some of the other agents at this agency like Charlie who does a nice job filling in for Steve by always trying to serve the customer and make his co-​workers life easier. Jeremy, the owner, follows up from time to time to make sure that the customer is happy with the service that they received. He even gives out things like lottery tickets or coupons for a meal when filling out his survey and other niceties to show his appreciation.
Is Allstate the least expensive insurance? Not sure and probably not. I have no reason to shop around. However, I can say that they are financially sound to take care of you in a good way when you do need their help. What is the point of finding cheap insurance that provides lousy service and nickels and dimes you on repairs or what not when you do have a problem? Exactly, that is why I go with the friendly guys that do take care of me when and if there is an issue.

Don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone!
I was working with Charlie Martinez with my G37 insurance in Seattle; these guys were great, and gave me the best coverage + cost quote. I then moved out east, and there was some mixup with cancellation of my insurance. Charlie didn’t give me a hard time at all; he said he’d take care of it, and a week later I have a cheque in the mail. Amazing customer service!
