Amazon Prime is a lie. They Guaranteed 2 day delivery. When I ordered it Tuesday said would definitely arrive thursday. Arranged a party based on this guarantee. Tracking says it left 2pm wednesday. The delivery company has not received it yet and its already thursday afternoon. I called amazon and they said it has a buffer delay and can be as late as Saturday. SO a guarantee means nothing, it is just words to them. DONOTTRUSTAMAZON, THEYGUARANTEELIESANDWHENTHEYDONOTCOMETHROUGHIGNOREYOURQUESTIONS. Each time I asked if they were going to do anything about it, they said«There is a buffer and it should be there by Saturday. «I have people coming over tonight, what about that? «There is a buffer and it should be there by Saturday.» A broken record of unhelpful, uncaring words. They just kept repeating the same statement and made no effort to escalate it and/or solve it. Unfortunately, they are the only place to get the cards and I have no other choice, otherwise I would cancel my order and demand a refund. I just want something done. Some accounting for this horrible customer service. That, or a bad mark on their reputation so others can be warned and prepared for this uncaring corporation. I will also be submitting this to Unilocal,my own webcomic, and anywhere else I can. I have also filed a case with the BBB.

Long distance maids or matrons of honor are generally given vaguer duties, much less sway, and little to no credit. If you find yourself becoming a long distance bridal party member, here are a few things you can do to help out and stay involved(and sane) while living in another city. 1. Get yourself on Amazon Prime(see for more info). When the bride says she wants something right away, she means, STAT! Free two-day shipping on Amazon Prime makes all the difference in getting last-minute items directly to her faster. If you have any gift certificates sitting unused in your account, go ahead and dip into that Amazon fund you’ve been saving for a rainy day spree. That day has come, and it’s monsoon season in Plan-a-Wedding-ville! 2. Stay on top of wedding and party supply needs by using the tools in Amazon’s Gift Central Organizer . Be sure to frequently double-check your shopping history as well because the last thing you need is to accidentally get two or more of anything, unless by this time you’ve stupidly managed to get roped into a second or third bridal party. 3. Sign up for every engagement and wedding contest you come across in magazines, newspapers, stores, local bridal shows, and online. You might just win one of them and come out ahead with some good free stuff! 4. You’ve earned it. Look for Unilocal Deals. Or sign up for Amazon Local — US only — and send your bride a discounted local massage gift certificate, then get yourself one, too! 5. Endure the sporadic rampages. The bride has a lot of people at home to be nice to: the rest of her bridal party, her family, the groom’s family, their mutual and non-mutual friends, bosses, co-workers, strangers on the street… Inevitably, it falls to the long distance maid/matron of honor to take some unexpected abuse on occasion. Thousands of miles make it completely safe for the bride to rage at you because by the time you can get over to where she is to throttle her in person, too much time will(hopefully) have elapsed for you to actually to go through with it. As a long distance maid/matron of honor, it is your job, when needed, to make it, take it, and fake it. Tell yourself it’s okay. Weddings are stressful. You’ve prepared for it. So shop and get organized on Amazon, learn to deal, then help your former sweet girl turned bridezilla the best you can from wherever you are, and with any luck, you’ll eventually have a beautiful and fully prepared bridechilla on your hands, just in time for the wedding.
