Ann Sacks Tile & Stone

This is an absolutely stunning store. And though I’ve only driven past and admired its beauty from afar before, I finally stopped in today to see everything close up. This is the best quality, most gorgeous, and most unique tile you’ll get anywhere. There’s imported tile, there’s ceramic, marble, porcelain, concrete, steel, glass, wood, and more. There’s big tile, tiny tile, there’s tile for bathrooms, tile for floors, tile for kitchens and backsplashes… It’s tile heaven!
But that’s not all. There are also custom countertops, custom fixtures, faucets and and some accessories. If you have a big budget and you want to go all out on ensuring you have the most stunning bathroom, kitchen, entryway and beyond, this is the only place to shop.
The service was great too. My mother and I were shopping and we were welcomed and greeted warmly but left to browse on our own for the most part. When we had questions we got great answers and advice and when we just wanted to look for ourselves we were left to spend as much time as we wanted just scoping the place out.
I was giving suggestions on bathroom storage solutions and will absolutely be using help, advice, and services from Ann Sacks thanks to this visit. Seriously — even if you just want to admire this store and buy nothing at all, it’s worth visiting.

I visited this showroom while on vacation in Seattle and was approached by a sales rep with in a few minutes, which I know can be hard if things get busy. They have a good amount of people on staff that are knowledgeable about what they sell and what you might be looking for. They also have a wide range of tile and stone.

Got a surface in your home that needs some pizzazz? Have you been to Lowes or Home Depot and come away feeling underwhelmed? Do you crave something better, more stylish, more expressive? Then head downtown to Ann Sacks. Their colors, materials, designs, and treatments are beautiful and unique, and they have a vast selection. There are few better places to find something wonderful for your home. The store is rarely busy but then there is often only one person staffing the store, so long waits can be common if someone else is being helped when you arrive. Oh, and it’s pretty spendy.

Reviewers are right, this place has amazing tile and a great selection. They have no problem picking up the phone and calling distributers either. The rub is the price, it’s high but they seem to have enough sales to keep it there just not sure if a little more efficiency from the staff couldn’t produce low labor costs and a lower rent location like near the design center would produce savings that could be past along. Just a thought… I will be back tho.

OK, I’m giving Ann Sacks a second chance, so hopefully I can update this again later with a better review.
It took me emailing our rep there and telling her that we were going to put the brakes on our project and go another route to get some action.
She then produced some correspondence from the artist working on our custom tiles and asked if we would reconsider. I laid down the ground rules on how we would feel comfortable proceeding (more open, complete communication and status updates, an ETA on completion, details on pricing), etc… and things seem to be moving along more satisfactorily.
My BFF from college also happens to be a licensed interior designer, and she has offered to step in and put some «heat» on them, which I didn’t feel would be a good idea, but she is extending her contractor discount to me so I am able to get the tiles at a 20% reduction, which helps — and I think having someone «in the trade» somewhat in the picture is helping them put a better foot forward although they do say that they offer the same customer service to both designers, and Joe Schmoe walking in off the street.

As an interior designer, I buy a large percentage of tile and stone for my clients’ projects here at Ann Sacks. Robin and her crew are knowledgeable and resourceful. People don’t hire a designer to have their homes look like every other builder home or like a Home Depot special, and Ann Sacks is my resource to make sure that doesn’t happen to my clients.
While they have many things in higher end price ranges, I rarely spend more than $ 12/​foot for anything — and when I do it’s generally for a small spot where it will really make an impact. They have many great things for half that price that when used with creativity give a high end look. The installation of the materials costs the same no matter what you put in, so getting a little nicer product doesn’t add that much to the total budget — and it’s putting the money where you can see it and enjoy it.
I’ve always had great customer service — in fact just today an installer made and error and ran out of material — the folks at Ann Sacks dropped everything to get another box of tile ordered and ready for the client. Things do go wrong in this business, and one of the reasons I deal with Ann Sacks in Seattle is how they take care of me when something unexpected happens.

The fixtures and tile are exquisite and beautiful as installed. You spend a fortune for Ann Sacks branded materials. However, when something goes wrong, there is essentially no customer service and you feel like you spent too much, given that there is virtually no after purchase help with a problem.

Apparently this woman really knows her tile. Holy cow, the showroom is amazing! You could get any kind of tile you wanted provided that it was simply stunning. Too bad the prices are a bit stunning as well. Still, go, drool, be inspired to learn to grout.
