First time at this location and loved their ahi nachos for starter… The view of course seals the deal especially for my son who loves the water and the boats that passes by! Definitely coming back again but probly during summer time spend can enjoy the view more!

Quality and fresh seafood! Arrived late right before the restaurant closed and the food was still fresh as ever. I ordered the lobster tails with the baked potato and green beans. It was super delicious! I would say that it was the best lobster that I’ve ever had. A beautiful restaurant and dining experience. The waitress was very kind and did an amazing job.

We sat in the bar with the intention of having drinks and dinner however after observing the two bar waitresses visiting with their guests and ignoring our presence(we didn’t even have menus) we decided to sit in the restaurant. The hostess was overwhelmed and the dining room underprepared(we were told our waiter was starting to detail his section) from there the service was average at best– and so was the food. We are regulars at Ray’s next door. We will not try Anthony’s again. We have reasonably high standards for dining. We paid $ 155 + tip for dinner. Will not be back.

Anthony’s is in an ideal spot on Shilshole Bay. I would LOVE to go to Anthony’s regularly, but it’s so much easier, more fun, more delicious, and nicer to go to Ray’s Café. Reasons: Anthony’s is stuck in 1990. The décor, the faded carpeting, the energy level – all stuck in an earlier time. If the décor were updated, uniforms updated, the mirror wall in the bar removed(so all bar patrons can view out to the bay), it could really be a jewel, and then I’d LOVE to return regularly.

This is by far my favorite happy hour in Ballard. The service is personable, and I’ve never been the slightest bit unhappy with the food. You can’t beat the view either. I generally have high standards about where I spend my money, being that there are so many options in Ballard. Anthony’s is my favorite.

Came for a quick lunch, and the excellent hostess told me about the sole being on the Blue Plate Special. Although the waiter came in a few minutes and took the order, the fish took forever, and I know why. He brought two over-cooked breaded slabs which came next to over cooked veggies, and a massive amount of rice. As fish was so dry and like cardboard, I asked to get some butter. …thank GOD! Although they still lacked any flavor, and there was only a minuscule amount of fish, it was finally edible… I have had TV dinners and fast food fish that was more moist, flavorful and plentiful, but never paid $ 20 for such trash! They have a special on huckleberries. Had the service been better, and the main meal worth eating, the sundae with the berries and home made sauce would have been good. But you won’t fool me twice: Just too easy to take the 50 steps to the south and enjoy the proven delights of Ray’s Boathouse, or the friendly Cuban spot to the north. Only highlight here was the hostess for sure! Otherwise, two thumbs down!!!

View was nice… that’s all that was positive. Drinks were awful. King salmon tasted like it had been microwaved. service was subpar. For what they charge I would recommend staying home and cooking! Even if you can’t cook it would be better!

The view was amazing! However, we sat outside and noticed a rat scurrying about the deck(somewhat expected given they are right on the water). Also the candle provided once it got dark was not very helpful. I would recommend adding some warming pillars outside too. The food is decent to good. I will say my dungenness crab fettuccine was even better as leftovers.

I’m finally writing a review. I’ve eaten here 3 times. Once with friends, once with family, and once with co-workers. Eating with co-workers was a work event. They served two different types of crostini — both were delicious. We started our meal with rolls, Caesar salad, roasted potato wedges, salmon, and prime rib w/Au Jus. — I personally think it’s hard to cook for a large number of people and have the food turn out«okay», but this worked. Everyone seemed to enjoy the entrees and the view. For dessert we had chocolate dipped strawberries, a cream cheese chocolate brownie, and vanilla or chocolate mousse served with fresh raspberries. I thought the desserts were«okay». I probably enjoyed the brownie item the best. I woke up in the night with terrible stomach pains… I cannot attribute my illness to the restaurant directly. But I also cannot dismiss it. As I said in the beginning of my review I have eaten here 3 times. And both of the other times that I dined here, I enjoyed my food, I had great service, and I had a great time. 4 stars — because most of the time I spent here — I rather enjoyed it! :)

I totally forgot to check in at this place I came here for brunch and it was WONDERFUL!!! They have brunch until 2pm on Sundays. The restaurant it’s beautiful. The service it’s great. Very professional and friendly. The brunch it’s a great option! It comes with fruits and the best blueberry muffins! I had an special omelet they have in their menú. It was so good! The omelet comes with potatoes and two slices of bacon. It tasted really good! My friends had the egg Benedict, new orleans french toast and the egg Benedict over crabcakes. The only sad part of my experience was that nobody told us that we could seat in the deck. So I was kind of dissapoining after my meal to found out they have the best deck and I didn’t even know about it. If you have something that nice you should offer it.

Great food, Best Happy Hour! 3−6PM $ 7 dollar appitizers and they are fullsize. $ 5 beers and well drinks. We came here for our 1 year wedding anniversary and decided to sit out on the patio. Got a great table right by the flowers over looking the water. *Side note, if you are allregic to BEES do not sit outside. They have a large amount of flowers and not joke we saw like 30 bee’s just flying around* We got here around five and ordered 2 appitizers and 2 rounds of drinks off the happy hour menu. Our waitress, who I think was southern, she had a two word name. I wish I could remember because she was on it! The service was great and of course the food was amazing. I had the Surf and Turf for 21.95 which came with steak and tempura prawns, snap peas and roasted potatoes. I am not a steak eater but omg I ate every inch of it. My husband had the Crab Linguini which is his favorite. We usually spend around $ 100 – 120 including tip. If you go during happy hour it much cheaper and so worth it.

We had a small family lunch for my great aunt’s birthday last weekend. Anthony’s was her choice and it was my first time at this location and at an Anthony’s for many years. Food=mediocre, nothing spectacular. Service=Inconsistent. It seems like all of the staff members were standing around shootin’ the breeze and were not attentive to customers. I had to go up to the bar several times, looking for our server. On a positive note regarding service, they did bring out the cake for us with candles lit, as requested. She was also able to split the check without an issue. Atmosphere=Outside seating was spectacular because of the view. The décor inside was dreadful. It looked as if the carpet were 30+ years old and had never been cleaned. The tables, chairs, lighting, old wooden bar, essentially everything needs to be replaced.

We went there on our 7th anniversary. It’s a brunch. My husband loved his food and my food was delicious. Friendly service and the view is so beautiful. The only comment is the interior a little bit old. I had a good time time.

Dinner for four(7:00 pm Saturday the 12th) I am dissatisfied and annoyed by the head waiter. He was«in your face», loud, no class and the used car sales approach was over the top. Tone it down please… He interrupted our dining experience several times by rolling the shade up and down all throughout the time we were there. He thought he was serving us, but actually annoying us with his continuous presence. His uniform was too tight, yellowing and could use bleaching. Too bad he doesn’t care how he looks, but I had to look at him and I found it gross. I wished he would just go away and bother someone else, but he didn’t. Anthony’s restaurant could benefit by sending their head waiter and management to see how others operate their restaurants like the Kimpton-Monaco Hotel Group or the Olympic Hotel/restaurant. Anthony’s restaurant can really use the change in approaching their guests. As far as food is concern, their fried oysters gave my wife food poisoning and my steak was overdone and gave me serious bloating all night. I was too embarrassed to ask my friends how their food was. I would not recommend Anthony’s in Edmonds, maybe Kirkland Restaurant is better.

I’m choosing 4 stars for this reason: Food: 3 stars, just average, nothing special. Service: 5 stars. Our waitress, Cheryl, was very attentive to our table, even though she was quite busy. She was very professional and paid attention to even the smallest details. She made the entire evening that much more special for us. We went to this restaurant on a recommendation from a family member due to it having good steaks and seafood. The food was okay. I’ve had better and I’ve had worse. I think the food is actually a little pricey for what we got, but it was cooked exactly as we requested and had good flavor. I would definitely go here again, if in the area.

Came for dinner on a Friday night and sat in the bar area with water views. Didn’t get there until after 8pm but the restaurant was already super empty. We had good service throughout the night and they service was very friendly. We ordered some drinks and those were brought out right away. The bar area has TV screens so we could watch the basketball games and the staff was very accommodating in getting the channels changed for us. For food I ordered the fish and chips to try. The platter was huge and enough for two people. I would have preferred a smaller portion for a cheaper price. The fish was fresh and the batter was tasty. It was a tad on the greasy side but still delicious. The fries were pretty standard, as was the slaw. The tartar sauce was really good. Others in our group got the dungeness crab fettuccine, the burger with fries, and the salmon tacos. The pasta was tasty but way too saucy, the burger looked good and received good reviews and the salmon tacos were apparently just okay. This was a good experience and I would come back for happy hour and during the summertime to sit on the deck but otherwise a fairly standard seafood restaurant.

Came here on a Saturday night and had made a reservation for 5:30pm and told that I would have to wait since they were pretty backed up. We didn’t get our table till 6:15pm. That being said we were looking forward to watching the sunset by the water which we caught a glimpse of but since they got us in later we weren’t able to enjoy it. So the waiter comes up offers us water and bread and asks for drinks but doesn’t return till 15mins later. We finally order. There fresh Salmon dish was amazing and for the $ 40 for the plate it was a decent amount of food. My brother got the fish and chips which were also good. Its a seafood place so atleast they’ve got the good food down. The only problem was the service which was BELOW average. We were never offered a water refill or asked if we wanted more bread and when we were done with our meal and waiting on the check it took the waiter 30mins before she finally showed up. I kept signaling and asked one of the other waiters to get our check but they just didn’t care and went about during there own business. We were seated in a booth right by the kitchen area so I could see our waiter was busy cleaning dishes. Shouldn’t the customer come first? I mean seriously I shouldn’t have to wait 30mintures just to get my check. I know the couple across from us who had a different waiter were having the same struggle, maybe they were just short staffed who knows. Pros: Fun date location outlooking the water. Ambience is nice. Not crazy pricey and the portions are good. Cons: Service is TERRIBLE. I felt like I was at an Asian restaurant where they didn’t care that I was even a customer.

Anthony’s HomePort in Ballard is a really nice place. The dining room is a big open space, with big glass windows looking out on the water. You can get a good view pretty much anywhere you sit, and the employees are conscientious about adjusting the blinds so no one gets blinded during sunset. Service was also quite good – our server was very pleasant and attentive, no complaints whatsoever! I had the seafood fettuccine, which was a plate of pasta in a garlicky cream sauce, with some clams, shrimp, and mussels scattered throughout. While it was honestly really delicious, I have to say that I can’t justify charging 23 dollars for it. There really wasn’t that much seafood in it, a few shrimp, a couple mussels, a couple little clams. A scallop. It seems like an unreasonable markup. So while I had a great experience here and my pasta was tasty, I know I can find a better seafood pasta for less elsewhere and probably won’t make regular trips.

About two years ago, my now-husband and I had our first date during Anthony’s Happy Hour — he, having just driven 8 hours from Boise, and I, 48 hours away from a 13-hour trip back to China. Maybe it was the setting sun or the abundance of alcohol, but when I uttered the words, «WOW, you look really tired, maybe we should call it a night», the man thought all hope was lost and we cut our date short, until… …two years later, when we had our wedding reception at the banquet rooms of Anthony’s upstairs. Actually, our first date at Anthony’s was rather disastrous, but we returned several times afterwards for the great view(west-facing outdoor patio and banquet rooms) and the decent HH. Our experience at the restaurant was usually three to three-and-a-half stars. Nothing outstanding in terms of service nor food. When we decided on Anthony’s for the reception, it was the convenience as much as nostalgia. And price. Not wanting to pay the $$$ for an nouveau Americana hip venue lined with hay and flatulent livestock, nor a lavish ballroom with peacock-feathered red walls and black crystal chandeliers, we settled for the spoils of the«Golden Girls» TV set, complete with the early 90s carpeting, flowery cushions on wicker chairs. Rose, Blanche, Dorothy and Sofia were very adequately represented by my mother, her cousin, and various aunts. Anthony’s has two banquet rooms upstairs from the restaurant, which all together hold over 100 people, plus their hyperactive kids. The room comprises mainly of windows facing the setting sun over Shilshole Bay. There’s also a breezy outdoor deck adjoining the larger banquet room for guests to declare their undying love for significant others a la mode d’Titanic, although most people just hung out and doused themselves from the alcohol selection at the open bar. Six months in advance I’d contacted Anthony’s and spoke with Brittany, one of their office contacts. She was great about outlining the process, menu and showed me the venue and possible seating arrangements. I gave a deposit to secure the date. Only about 2 weeks before the actual date did we finalized the guest list and number of portions /appetizers. During this time, we’d met two of the managers on two separate occasions. They didn’t seem to know what was going on with our reception, and the managers we didn’t turn out to be the one on duty the evening of the reception, who I didn’t end up meeting, anyway. It turned out that managers were unnecessary, as the crew worked the reception like a well-oiled machine. Dumfounded by the numerous guests and relatives, I’d totally missed out on little things, such as, «When should the appetizers be brought out?» The servers took initiative and suggested the apps be brought out when the room was two-thirds full. The main buffet miraculously appeared, when all of the guests arrived. The servers didn’t miss a beat, and the food was very good for the number of people. Many guests raved about the prime rib.(We went all the way, baby.) The total bill turned out to be far less than for a *regular* wedding, although our guests were not big drinkers — my husband and I probably had the most drinks, having to foot the bill. From start to finish a great, happy experience.

Love love love their happy hour! Amazing view outside if you’re lucky to catch an empty table! I regret not grabbing our servers name because he was really nice & attentive! We got the mussels which were perfection. My boyfriend and I joked about getting a 2nd round of them! I’m glad we tried the Hawaiian ahi nachos though, by our servers recommendation. Absolutely delicious! Picture to follow… one is missing from the photo tho ;) Their Moscow mule wasn’t the best though, so maybe try a different cocktail; like the gin drink I got with mint… I forgot what it’s called though. It was wonderful!(Pretty much a gin mojito). We will be going back as much as we can while the weather is nice!

Excellent view and food. This is a great restaurant if you are looking for a place where you can watch the sunset while eating delicious seafood. I think the price of the food makes justice to the fresh taste, the service and beautiful presentation. It is perfect for a romantic dinner or for a meeting with really good friends during sunny Seattle days. I ordered the salmon and it was really good, but the view from our oceanfront table was the perfect element. We went there a Sunday around 7pm and didn’t have to wait for our table.
