You guys!!! Go see Danielle! She is a color genius. I have never been so happy with my hair. She is unbelievably talented and have me exactly what I wanted– which is hilarious, because I went in having only a vague idea of what I wanted. She listened and we talked it out and the result is perfection. Rose gold from heaven with probably the best cut of my life. Thank you Danielle!!! You are an artist! So talented.

Danielle has cut and dyed my hair a few times now and I’m always really happy with the results! I have long hair that’s currently ombré styled. She is always friendly and personable, and you can tell she really cares about her clients. I’d highly recommend her to anyone.
Aria is easy to find in Capitol Hill. There is a lot of street parking around the general area. The salon itself is really clean and bright, with fun décor.

I recently got eyelash extensions with Tamara, and I could not be happier with the experience and results. I received numerous compliments, and the lashes look spectacular. If you’re looking to get your lashes done, Tamara is the best!

Bianca has been cutting/​coloring my hair for more years than I care to count. She’s a great stylist — she listens to what you want, but is also happy to weigh in with an opinion. The salon itself has a great vibe. The revolving artwork is a great addition. I don’t live in the area anymore, but am still happy to make the commute to Aria.

Tamara. Lashes. Do it.
I decided to give lash extensions a try, and after asking several friends who to go to (and looking around quite a bit online), I took the advice of a friend who has been seeing Tamara for years, and I was THRILLED that I did. Tamara went out of her way to accommodate me as a brand new client just before I left town for a vacation. She was efficient, friendly, professional and most importantly — my lashes were stunning.
I have gone back in for my first fill, and I can’t imagine going without them. I have gotten compliments from family, friends, co-​workers, even strangers on the plane while on vacation. I did not splurge for the Mink lashes, though I know others have and have loved them. Tamara will help you choose the best length and thickness for your own personal preferences. I went for the longest and thickest set, but I have friends who have opted for a more natural look — whatever you desire — she will deliver!
I cannot recommend Tamara and Aria highly enough. She even has weekend hours for those who can’t make it during the week.
Pro tip: cards are accepted, but cash is preferred.

I’ve been going to Bianca for about two years now. She’s awesome. She’s incredibly skilled and intuitive, and I appreciate that she takes the time to consult before the cut and make suggestions when I’m unsure of what I want. Going to Aria is a stress free experience and I know my hair will look amazing every time. Plus I love the location and the interior of the space.

This review is long overdue. All of my very picky guy friends get their hair cut at aria by Bianca and have recommended her for ages. I have extremely tricky, terrible hair and am always reluctant to trust that to anyone. When my previous stylist was out of town (who gave me awesome hair cuts – but my hair was just too long to wait), I went to Bianca for a haircut and ended up with the best cut of my life. I left with the hair I had always wanted – sexy, layered, easy – and I have never looked back.
Most places take 60 – 90 minutes to blow out my hair after a cut (really, I have awful thick curly hair), but Bianca makes it happen in 20 – 30 minutes after a super precision cut. And it always looks awesome. Ii recommended her to my buddy Elizabeth with similar hair, and after one cut with Bianca, she has become an equal devotee. Every time we see each other with awesome hair, we just ask each other with a raised eyebrow, «Bianca?»
Lovely salon with pretty easy parking for cap hill. Could not recommend more.

I came to Aria after my other appointment fell through.
The stylists fought over who would color my hair. Imagine how awkward this was for a customer. I sat down quietly anyway. I am not one to fight.
Bianca colored my hair and it did not turn out right. She half heartedly said she would color me again if I didn’t like it after a week. I left feeling terrible. When I gave her a call after a week, I was stunned at the way she spoke to me. I didn’t know what I was expecting anyway since she was kind of mean spirited the entire appointment. I could tell she didn’t want to recolor me and I didn’t feel like subjecting myself to this salon anymore. I cancelled my second appointment.
I understand my hair is difficult to color, what I’m unhappy about is the way I was treated here. I hope this was a flute because I really, really wanted to like it here.

Love Judy! Not only is she super laid back and cool, but she’s the first stylist I’ve ever been to who had ideas for what to do with my hair when I didn’t, or was able to figure out exactly what I wanted even though I’m not great at describing. I always thought that using box hair dye was good enough for me, but after going to her I see that I was wrong. She helped me fix a couple of shoddy dye jobs from other local salons plus all the awful stuff I had done to my own hair. Plus, she’s speedy so I don’t have to cut a huge chunk out of my day to get awesome hair. Highly recommended!

I have been seeing Tamara at Aria for 4 months now. I recently decided to stop getting lash extensions. Bad move on my part. Heading back to Aria with my tail between by legs, Tamara set me up with Mink extensions at an amazing price. I love the natural hair. Tamara is amazingly good at what she does, hitting all the lashes on your eye without going over board; she knows what looks right on «you» and listens to what works best for you. Best of all, she is efficient — it’s hard to lay still for 2 hours! She did my full set in an hour and 15 minutes. Amazing.
I highly recommend Tamara and the Aria experience.

Not bad but definitely not great. I scheduled for full highlights and a cut.
Pros: They were able to fit me in on a very short notice. I saw Josh, who was extremely nice and personable. He talked me through the options with my hair color. I was looking to maintain my current highlights and brighten up a little bit but not much. I stressed that I wanted to be very careful that the blond did NOT turn that bad shrimpy color, especially when it started fading. The cut seems fine; he didn’t cut off too much, which happens often.
Cons: My hair looks… not great. The color is… wait for it… SHRIMPY! He also gave me WAY too many options when he was explaining all of the different ways that my hair could be colored, along with showing all of those little hair color swatches that look nothing like your real hair color once it’s actually applied. I felt like a broken record repeating that I wanted to maintain what I had.
Conclusion: Josh was nice and his prices were very reasonable. I’d suggest possibly going for a regular maintenance cut, but never color. Probably not going back.

Bianca gave me a great haircut — but
1– they have no receptionist and no way to alternatively schedule appointments –so you MIGHT get lucky reaching someone on the phone (my last salon had an online appt calendar)
2– I came back for a bang trim, was told to wait 15 minutes, as Bianca was with another client, I walked around the neighborhood, came back in 15, waited another 20 minutes, and was rudely told to wait another 15 minutes — she could have just said she was busy for the next hour — but wasted my time, and frankly was rude.
So, I booked my next haircut with a salon that has a nice receptionist :-)

I have been going to Aria for over 10 years! I currently am getting eyelash extensions from Tamara and I love them!!! They were a present from a friend to treat me, and I honestly didn’t think I’d like them, but that was a year ago and I’m still getting them done!!! Tamara is great and I love the service, it’s the only thing I do on a regular basis to pamper myself and totally worth it. She’s always nice to talk to, always on time (and never mad when i’m late).
Did I mention she’s a great stylist too? It’s awesome to not have to go to two different spots to get everything done!!!

Okay, I’ve been getting lash extensions for about 8 months now and this is the best place around. I just moved from Miami and was paying $ 75 dollar for real minks every two weeks. My BFF booked me an appointment with Tamara at Aria and I’m a new woman! She set me up with synthetic lashes and now I look like a movie star — TRUTH!!! Tamara gave me a great deal on the initial set and now I’m paying less then what I was paying for my J-​Lo look in MIami — Also, I now actually have J-​Lo lashes :)
Thank you Tamara for finally letting me live out my Jenny From the Block dreams, saving me some money, and giving me the best Seattle foodie advice. You are fast, thorough, fashionable, and affordable. I get fills every 3 weeks on every lash and I love them.

I have been getting eyelash extensions for 4 years (you could say I’m addicted.). I’ve moved all over, had them done in LA, Portland and Seattle and by far, Tamara is the best ‘lashing’ I’ve ever had.
She’s excellent, detail oriented and super friendly. My natural lashes stayed healthy and full as well. I saw her for mink extensions and they were so soft and luxurious. Seriously, such a treat.
I highly recommend Tamara and now that I live in Portland, I honestly wish I could come to Seattle for my fills.

After trying several salons when I moved to Seattle last year I finally was referred to Casey. Casey is leaving Aria very soon and I cannot wait to write a glowing review for her in her new ventures!
She is versatile and has a very devout following. She does great consultations, is realistic and fair to her clients and quick! She is a gem and worth her weight in gold.

I’ve been seeing Judy for about 9 years now. Wow, has it been that long? When I moved to San Francisco, I didn’t have a hair dresser there for my first 3 years, because I would just see Judy when I came into Seattle, or she’d hook me up with service when she was in town.
I’m back in Seattle, with Judy again, and am more than pleased with my cut and color– as always. She’s a true professional of her craft and I can just sit back in my chair and relax as it all go down.

It took me years to find a hairstylist in Seattle and Tamara Hamry is the bomb. I’ve been going to her for four years. She did my wedding, she does the regular trims, she is my fashion inspiration. She tailors each cut and color to your face, your personal style and your time commitment (as in, I would love to spend an hour each day getting my hair just so, but in reality, I don’t want to spend more than 15 minutes messing with it.)
She has a super fun personality — I always walk out with a sunnier outlook! And she’s a fashion inspiration. I love seeing what she’s wearing every time we have an appointment.

Haven’t gotten my hairs did for about (wow) 9 months. Decided to take a friends referral and make an appt with Casey! OMG this girl is the shiiite! Seriously folks, she cut my hair dry and it was ah-​maze-​ing! Best haircut I’ve had in years. Luv love luv! Best part is that it was quick and there no was time wasted.
