AT&T Authorized Retail Store

The young Asian guy who helped me was completely unhelpful. I wanted to know the best and cheapest way to switch phones and he tried to sell me on phone leasing. Well everything he said was a lie. I didn’t need to lease a new phone, I didn’t need to pay for a phone change fee, it wasn’t any cheaper to lease than to buy it, and on and on. Total waste of my my time to go in this store.

Rob is the man!!! Such a huge help. If every place of business had a Rob, the world would be a much better place. Kara C doesn’t know what she’s talking about… I’m betting she’s the type that abuses the «free samples» option at ice cream stores… or buys food that’s about to expire and then complain to the store that their food is awful. Anyway… Rob was such a huge help I felt compelled to write a review… I don’t normally write reviews (this is my second ever) but the service I got at that store has me spending time to let everyone know… see Rob at that store he’s the man!

Rob (aka: Robert) is the manager of the Ballard store and was INCREDIBLY helpful when I came in with a broken phone. He multi-​tasked like no other, helping 3 customers at once while making us all feel attended to. And he solved my problem like it was no big deal. He definitely went out of his way, helping me set up my flip phone until my fancy iPhone arrives. Gold Star, Robert! :)

Worst experience EVER. Not only are the people not very knowledgeable, they are crassly bad. I went in with a device, they sold me the wrong sim card, would not change it when it did not work. So I am out 75 dollars. Stay away at ALL COSTS if you have any thing that is not super simple.

Average for AT & T stroe — it’s rather on the small side, but the upside is it’s never been crowded in the 3 times I’ve been there which is *extremely* nice — none of this «waiting around» business to waste people’s time b/​c they are under-​employed or whatever. Customer service is slightly better than average. Overall satisfied, but have never bought a phone there, only accessories.

I would not recommend this reseller to anyone, unless you want bad service and a worse attitude.
I purchased my phone and case accessories on Dec 1^st, 2014.
My phone had to be ordered as they were on back order
Received my phone the week of Dec 15^th. Realizing I did not need the case I went to return it on Dec 26^th.
Rob refused a return on an unopened, unused product stating there was a 14 day return policy. That policy is not stated on the receipt or on either register/​computer.
The employee that helped me purchase the product was new and not trained on policy. Rob was aware that I was not told policy but he would rather keep $ 32 then create a loyal customer out of me and provide good customer service.
On top of this his behavior was mocking, condescending and threatening. Rob should be fired.
I will never visit this reseller EVER AGAIN!
Thankfully AT&T corporate made right and credited my account $ 45 and apologized. They also stated that authorized resellers have a 30 day return policy on accessories and 14 days on devices.
I also still have a the case and will try to sell it on Craigslist.

This is an authorized retailer and not an AT&T corporate store. In the case of this store, that means plastic demo models for many of the phones you’re interested in trying out. It’s hard to get a sense of anything other than size when the screen is printed image and the buttons don’t work. Strangely, they’re still tethered/​alarmed. I guess fake phone thefts are just as much a problem. Given the option, I’ll go to the big corporate store downtown.

I visited this store yesterday because my phone (which I bought at another AT&T store only 6 months ago) had stopped working, and I was hoping that someone with AT&T could find out if it was under warranty, and what I would need to do to get a replacement phone. Instead, the woman who «helped» me suggested that I go to a drug store and buy another phone. Really?! That’s the best suggestion you could give? I was very disappointed and will not be wasting my time here again!

My wife and I went in today because she dropped her phone in the lake. She needed a new phone and perhaps SIM card for a spare phone. Plus, her employer gave her a phone for Development work. a new iPhone 6. And finally my plan yielded a new phone for me. So my intent was to get at least two new phones if we found what we like.
My issue is the woman at the desk never took the time or interest in asking a few basic questions to determine our need. My wife’s first question was, can I get a Sim card for this iPhone to start? The woman promptly said «we charge $ 25 for Sim cards». This caught us by surprise as we’ve not been charged for sim cards over the past five years.
My wife mentioned this and noted an example from colleagues with employer issued development phones. She said we are an AT&T retailer and we don’t do that.
Needless to say we left with a slighted feeling and decided to cut our losses and try another AT&T outlet.
Had the women assisting us been less focused on the SIM gouge, I may have taken the time to clarify our potential purchases for the day and requirements.
The rest was frustration, inconvenience and partial understanding the retailers probably are too concerned about customer satisfaction. — Not to mention semblances of a long-​term relationship with customers. So what right?
Funny thing was my wife called another AT&T store (her colleague recommended), she told her what happened and they replied.“that’s funny, we don’t charge for SIM cards“
So we make the trip again tomorrow. To try this again. This is my 2^nd unsatisfactory experience at this location. Makes me wonder why they have these shops outside the Mall.

This is a sequel to the miserable experience of having spent over $ 1,000 in this store in a short time. I went there initially because it was close to home and my misbegotten idea to shop with local merchants. ATT local, right. In addition to a faulty and incompletely initialized iphone, I bought cables, peripherals, etc. The worst choice, purchased on the assurance of Rob The MANAGER and Zach was a waterproof case, guaranteed not to interfere with signal or speaker. I learned otherwise, the hard way. The case screws up reception and transmission. The case ‘authorized by ATT and Apple does NOT work. The warranty for this piece of crap? Nowhere to be found. The new phone still not unlocked which verges on contract fraud. Stay away from this nest of incompetents. It will be expensive if you don’t.

Wow! Awful experience. Called the store with a simple question. Rob was extremely rude and unhelpful. Interrupted me twice mid-​sentence to put me on hold. When I wasn’t on hold he was unapologetic, condescending and completely bothered to be dealing with a costumer. Well, at least I can go to a different store.

I have followed the manager Rob from the university location and been a customer for over 5 years. His customer service is EXCEPTIONAL! Rob takes his time with each customer to ensure they are in the correct phone, phone plan and thoroughly understand all aspects of their billing, contract, return policies and how to use their phones. On numerous occasions he has taken the time to review my bill with me to see about saving me money (he’s NOT there to make a fast buck — I have never felt «sold» nor that I’ve wasted my time/​money). As a single mother this has been a tremendous value and one of the many reasons I drive an hour from home to have Rob assist me with all my AT&T needs. I have and will continue to recommend friends and family to the AT&T in Ballard and definitely to engage Rob the manager as he is very personable and cares about his customers!

Robert at the Ballard AT&T location is great. He helped my husband and I pick out new phones and was very honest and helpful. I would go back to this store and continue to use AT &T simply because of their customer service.

I had an awesome experience at this store. Robert the manager was a total professional and was very understanding of my situation. He solved the problem and I walked out a very satisfied customer. This place and the staff are great! Highly recommend.

When I need help with anything AT&T, I will drive across town just to go to this store. The manager Rob Johnson couldn’t be more helpful, he’s full of good advice, and he really knows his stuff. I can’t believe I’m the first to write a review about this!

Wow what a great experience! I was in the area having lunch and saw the AT&T store on the corner of Market Street and Leary Way so I walked in to ask a couple of questions about my account. The manager, greeted me right away while he was finishing up with another customer. Shortly afterwards I was helped by both him and his employee, answering my questions, offering to check my plan for any savings and even gave a few tips about my new phone. Overall, the guys there were very friendly, knowledgeable and seemed genuinely interested in taking care of whatever problem I had. I asked about the iPad Air and they were so good at showing me all the in’s and out’s of it that I ended up buying one there instead of Best Buy. The store looks unassuming and small from the outside but I appreciated that they had all the products I’d find at the mall stores and the service was honestly the best I’ve experienced at any cellphone store. Kudos to the guys there as it will now be my go to location. I’ve recommended them to all my coworkers and friends!
