Auto Salon at Leschi

Jeff and team did an excellent job on my Jeep Wrangler. I had water damage, and mold forming, on the seats and carpet. Everything was pulled out, and cleaned… including ALL of the carpet. I’ve paid for detailing work, but this is truly an A++ job. I couldn’t be happier. They were quick and efficient, and I’ll definitely be a returning customer.

This is a great place to get your car detailed (and washed). The owner, Jeff, answers the phone every time I’ve called. He’s right, this place is a low volume but very high quality place. I have gone to other car wash/​detailing places around town but these guys are the most professional and on-​time guys around.
The employees are meticulous and the recommendations are fair. Their hand wash service is also excellent although a lot harder to book as it seems they hand wash only a handful at most a day due to reserving most of the work space for detailing jobs instead.
If you’re looking for a quick in quick out option, look towards Elephant Car Wash and other machine based (supposedly touchless) locations. However, if you baby your car and want it done right, pay up (reasonable prices) and enjoy the brand new car look/​smell once these guys are done with it!

Wow. Every day I seem to notice some other little detail that the guys at Auto Salon Leschi caught: the windows are crystal clear and the rain runs right off, my tires sparkle, and they even cleaned out that little gunky gutter that runs along the top of the trunk!
From the moment that I walked into the very very clean lobby, to the process of picking my package, to the shuttle service to/​from work, I felt like I was in good hands.
Slightly pricier than I had hoped, but you get what you pay for, and these guys are worth every penny.

Jeff, the owner, is meticulous & it shows — in a good way. I got my car detailed here about 6 months ago and it came back ‘just like new!’ I’m fairly certain Jeff personally checks over all the cars himself after they’ve been detailed, just to make sure they’re perfect. True, he has more of a straightforward & serious type of personality so you won’t get lavished with smiles when you’re visiting, but to me that doesn’t matter when my car looks pristine. Definitely going back.

My car is absolutely gorgeous! And it has stayed that way without a single wash since I picked it from the salon in July, 2015. I have driven over the mountains to eastern Washington twice since then — the only thing that needs cleaning is the windshield. That’s saying something incredibly good, since I usually need to wash my car every weekend for my own mental health.
When I first called the Auto Salon to schedule an appointment, the first thing Jeff said was that they were a «low volume» business. To anyone who was listening as I was, that would mean very few cars per week, and high quality, attention to detail, work. That’s exactly what occurred. And exactly what Jeff promised I would get from his business. They went above and beyond what was initially promised, checking with me first of course, but not adding to the price in any way — that’s service! Yes, Jeff is a business man with very high standards, in a business with very few people that can perform the quality of work he insists on providing his customers on a consistent basis (possibly — I don’t know this for sure I’m just speculating). So my take was that his scheduling was conservative for a low volume business to provide the highest quality service and product without under-​delivering on his expectations of the final outcome of the product.
It really doesn’t matter to me how many 1 star people are on here. They did beautiful work and finish on my BMW and I thank them for that! I’m saving money not needing to wash my car so often, which by the way will be done by them as well.

I’m not going to go into the whole drama as I see this is a type of Unilocal page that the guy responds to all the reviews and sasses the negative reviewers – no wonder their rating is so high.
I only got so far as the web inquiry and first phone call, and all he did is hard-​core sell me on their quality work while I tried to figure out what day worked best for both of us. From the guy answering the phone who mumbled his business name and I didn’t even know who’s call I was returning to the second guys FIRST words out of his mouth when I called them back «You didn’t leave us an e-​mail» (on the website I just left my phone) aaaaand goodmorning to you to. They were rude and indignant that I didn’t have all 24 hours and 7 days a week open for the rest of my life to get a stupid vanity service done. Who is their clientele that can drop off the car at 3:30 the day before and pick it up the before close of business next day without some kind of planning AND pay upwards of $ 300 dollars. I’m sure they would have worked with me on the timing if they weren’t so damn insistent on hardcore selling me on their «quality work – not like the other guys.»
Seriously I was the easiest sell as the seller of my car my Aunt is the one who is paying for it. If they had just taken a breather from the high pressure sales to help me with the timing factor hell they could have charged me double and I don’t know I would’ve probably paid it its just a one time thing and I’m not paying for it. The conversation got so bad that I actually had to hang up on him. He called back three times one right after each other and after the third time of hitting the hang up button they finally got it and stopped calling. The other one stars about their customer service is totally believable. If you aren’t completely sold on getting this service done and you have some semblance of commitments in your life I would think twice about calling, only call when you know what you are getting yourself into.
I mean I am sure their service is great – «…not like the other guys», but still to get to that point the process is a little OC.

Jeff detailed my motorcycle and did a great job. He didn’t want to do an estimate without seeing the bike because he couldn’t know how dirty it was, which I thought was very responsible. I had just done a ride across the US and back, so it was pretty dirty. They took off parts to clean under them, which was great. I needed to get the bike cleaned pretty quickly so I could store it, and Jeff was really accomodating about meeting my scheduling needs, and even gave me a ride back to where I was staying after I dropped the bike off.

I had high hopes and I’m sure their detailing is great but I would never know. I called them at 9:40 am and they open at 8:00 am. A guy answered and I asked if I can make an appointment and he said he didn’t know yet cause he wasn’t at work yet and he would call me back to tell me when. Okay that’s fine. But he never called me back. I waited the whole day and no phone call. I guess they didn’t want my money. So the customer service sucks.

Took my car in for a full detail. Jeff went over all his services with me, gave me a fair price quote, and promptly went to work. He exceeded my expectations and my car now looks better than new! The best thing I can say about Jeff is his meticulous attention to detail — he’s genuinely obsessed with his work. I couldn’t be happier. Support local businesses! Highly, highly recommended.

Jeff was courteous and professional from the get go. The timing of work and price was exactly as promised. I am very particular about my Porsche, but after talking with Jeff, it was clear he is top notch. The detailing was the best I have seen the car, even better when I picked it up at the dealership new! Stunning work! I’m absolutely going to be a regular here.

Recently purchased a new Triumph Street Triple R motorcycle. After 1,000 miles of riding, desperately needed a thorough wash and detail. I live in a high rise, and don’t have the infrastructure to do the wash myself. I searched online for detailing shops and found Jeff’s Auto Salon at Leschi. Checked out their pictures of other details, and gave Jeff a call. He told me to drop off the bike between 8AM-​6PM, and I brought it in the next day. When I got there, Jeff took the time to show me the products, techniques, and works in progress. His passion for his work and attention to detail blew me away. I picked up my bike the next day, and I couldn’t believe the level of shine and sparkle it had. I kid you not, the bike looked 10 times better than the day I got the keys from the dealership. The following weekend I rode 200 miles, and it’s as if the bike had a giant protective bubble around it deflecting all of the dirt and bugs. I highly recommend Jeff and his team. Thank you!

I visited Auto Salon at Leschi for the first time for a maintenance detail. I spoke with Jeff and he was extremely helpful, and explained everything. They did a great job and my car was the cleanest it has ever been. He also buffed out a few major scratches on the exterior, I will definitely go back!

I took my son’s car in to have it detailed-​mainly I wanted to get a persistent stain out of the front seats. These guys did a fabulous job! Jeff explained the whole procedure to me, and the car was finished earlier that promised and the interior is squeaky clean! Of course, they cleaned the outside too, and did some magic on the headlights to make the covers clear again –just like new. I highly recommend this business-​you won’t be disappointed.

Wow! I took my car to Jeff and his crew to get it tidied up to sell… but now it’s like new and I want to keep it.
I called Jeff after an hour of vacuuming and sticky-​rollering in an attempt to get the years of pet hair out of my car. Jeff suggested a full detail, and I’m very glad I went with it. The car looks amazing. They spent two extra hours ($ 100 extra) and got out 99% of the pet hair. Jeff listened to my budget concerns and worked with me. I think he would have really liked to get the other 1% but I appreciated the compromise.
Jeff says he’s «a little obsessive» about detailing, and I think it’s true. The guys in the shop were also very nice… Overall this was a top-​quality experience from a great neighborhood business.

I have been to all the best places in town from NW Auto Spa to my dealer and these guys do great work.

WOW… I have to say wow. I recently purchased a car that has sat outside for 2+ years and the paint was a mess and the interior had mold ALL over the seats, seat belts, door panels etc. I had Jeff look at the car first to see if he would even do it due to the mold and the danger there of. He was very professional and assured me they would get the car clean and safe to use for my family. I never once felt pressured from up selling etc. He informed me of the products they use and explained the benefits with each of them. I was a bit skeptical as to how it would turn out since the vehicle had been so neglected from sitting outside and it being black in color. After he got the car I thought to myself… it would be really nice if there were some before and after pictures. Well, I got busy as we all do and later that day I got several pictures and a status update. I was really impressed by the pictures! I just got the car back today and I’m completely impressed… in fact I’m astonished at the quality. Usually when you get a full detail it comes back with the paint shiny and everything else all goopy with dressing. The tires were perfectly cleaned with NO goop anywhere! I looked at every nook and cranny and I can’t find a spec of dirt/​dust anywhere… mold…ENTIRELY GONE! I got home and my son ran out to the car and hopped in and I felt totally OK with that because Jeff assured me he’d taken care of it all. The interior had a nice and fresh smell with out a chemical after taste. The paint… well, the paint is perfect!!! I very highly recommend using Auto Salon at Leschi… in fact… I’m going to tell everyone I know and show them the pictures! Jeff and crew… you guys blew my expectations out of the water… thank you!

Just picked up my new-​to-​me car and I was flabbergasted. Jeff & his team did a bumper detail while I was out of town. He called me regularly as issues came up and gave me options. The car needed more than just a great detail job. The needed body work and BEAUTIFUL paint job is amazing. Never has 1990 BMW looked better.

Jeff is Fantastic, He and his crew do an amazing job and his prices are hard to beat. I took a newly purchased used vehicle that smelled very poorly and was very dirty into a very prominent local detailer who did a pretty good job at cleaning the interior with their baseline detail package. They also wanted to run the drivepur system to improve the smell through my car, but were charging a hefty price for it.
I called Jeff and he quoted me half the price of this other shop and so I took it to him. He ran the exact same system for Half the Price!!! Not only that, but Jeff pointed out several areas of the interior detail that the other shop had missed and reshampooed and cleaned those areas for free. He also shampooed the carpet in the back seat again as well as my floor mats all over again, got them clean when the other shop couldn’t, and only charged me a couple extra bucks for it. Auto Salon at Leschi has definitely earned my business. My car looked and smelled so much better after going there, even after the work the other shop had done.

This morning I called this business to ask if they cleaned interior only.
My friend needed her seat cleaned before the holiday, they said they really didn’t want to do a simple job like that it wasn’t really worth their time, although they would do it and charge 50 for an hour rate.
When she showed up they told her to go to brown bear or make an appointment.
The men seemed as though our business wasn’t worth their time.
I called them back to let them know how upsetting the miscommunication was as I had my friend drive all the way there to be turned away.
An hour later I received 5 text messages to my personal cellular phone with harassing texts about how I clearly didn’t know what detailing meant.
Although we only wanted a seat clean not a full detail.
Horrible business in my opinion, low class communication and harassment. Glad we didn’t waste or time or money at this low class place.
I thought I’d paste their texts to me.
Leschi: We set the standard for ultra high quality automotive reconditioning in Seattle. There is no one better than us. If you knew anything about detailing you wouldn’t be calling a professional.
I asked them to please stop texting and harassing me and please not contact me again. .
They proceeded over three hours
And I took screen shots of the texts w my phone for proof,
Leschi: For what? Offering you a great service? When you contact them make sure you tell them the part where you & your friend got confused about making an appointment first & whether we were going to just clean the seat or you whole interior. We mainly do Full Services & were just trying to help you out lady. We do not need your business. I was just trying to make a point. And who is harassing? You called me! Please do not contact our establishment again.
As seen below the business is now trying to cover up and rearrange the story to fit their behalf, bottom line was 50.00 cleaning a seat wasn’t worth their time.
An hours worth of labor is an hours worth of labor
Whether its cleaning the seat or the floor…
The owner Jeff, apparently has an issue with women and thinks it’s okay to belittle and also send texts messages to your personal line… This establishment is a very poor example of a worth local business, I would take my business elsewhere gladly.
No way to fabricate this.

I needed my car detailed to put on the market immediately, so I called Auto Salon at Leschi, who had done a fantastic job on the car last year.
Jeff the owner, got me in right away and even did me the huge favor of picking me up (I don’t live too far away) The auto salon is conveniently located next to the Starbucks in Leschi. They are very detail oriented (no pun intended!) and are very professional and I think priced quite fairly. I would recommend them to anyone who loves their car and are very particular about who services it. He has an excellent website up (see link above) where you can read more about their services and prices.
By the way, the car we are selling is a beautiful 2007 BMW 328i convertible with 8500 miles and very, very clean (Thanks to Jeff and Auto Salon at Leschi!
