Avila Dental

I did not see the dds here, but I was very impressed with the professional service at the front desk.
I’d been calling around for hours, mostly reaching answering machines, in search of a dentist who accepted my insurance. Only one has called back, Avila. Not only did they return my call promptly, but they did so to give me the phone number of another dentist who accepted my insurance.
I was so impressed that they had bothered to take the time for someone who was not a patient.

All around great experience. I needed a lot of work before receiving approval for surgery. They scheduled me in a timely fashion and at no time did the Dr. or hygienist hurt me. I’ve had some very bad experiences with other dentists so this was a huge and pleasant surprise: excellent work with minimal pain. The office manager also checked my benefits to let me know about coverage I wasn’t even aware I had.

I just wanted to add that my daughter, now 3.5, has been going to see Dr. Bello since she turned 2, and it has been a lovely experience. They have great toys in the waiting room, Courtney is fantastic with kids, and so is Dr. Bello. My daughter actually gets excited when I tell her that we’re going!

After years of mediocre visits to chain dentists, I tried Avila Dental based on the excellent reviews. I’m pleased to report that they fully live up to the great reputation! I use the online portal ZocDoc to schedule my appointments, which is convenient and very easy. When I arrive for my appointments, I’m promptly greeted and there is usually no wait. The examinations are thorough and they take my concerns very seriously — each time I have gotten great advice on how to care for my teeth, and they never try to «upsell» me on gadgets or services which I really appreciate. I recommend this place to all my friends and will gladly travel across Seattle (I now live in West Seattle) for my appointments.

Avila Dental is professional, pleasant, modern and environmentally out-​front.
Dr Bello is very professional and thorough while maintaining such a calm and attentive approach to her patient. I am somewhat of a «dental-​phobe» like many others, and I asure you, this is the place for us! I so appreciated her method of informing AND showing me my dental outlook in digital pictures as well as xrays. So great!
Katie, the dental tech and assistant, is also very low-​key while not missing a beat and anticipating a patient’s needs, and Dr. Bello’s, all with great professionalism.
I have found my dentist for life and encourage you to make an appointment; you will be truly glad you if you do. I certainly am!

Dr. Bello and Katy are awesome! I have never had an easier dental experience! I have been to see them 3 times for a variety of reasons (6 month check up, night guard fitting, and fillings). Every appointment has been on time and the doctor and staff have been nothing but professional and very easy to work with.
The office space is beautiful and green which is awesome!

*low-​radiation digital Xrays — allow you to SEE what she’s talking about. Being able to visualize the deep grooves in my molars will actually help me to be a better tooth brusher. Strangely cool.
*No absurdly long waits for new appointments — I was seen one week after my initial call, and able to schedule a follow-​up two business days later
* 5-​star green ratings (forgot the name of the accrediting agency. but you should trust me. lol) — so even if you personally haven’t taken steps to «green» your lifestyle, by supporting a «green» business powered by renewable energy, innovations in green chemistry and renewable resources reduces your global footprint, and supports a quality and ethical business
*mercury-​free fillings!
I would even suggest Dr. Bello and Avila Dental to my younger sister, who has extremely, extremely sensitive teeth and gums. I couldn’t believe how little a tooth cleaning could hurt!

I visited Avila Dental for my 6 month check up and was most pleased with the service that was provided. The office has an amazing «zen-​like» feeling and i was immediately calmed by the atmosphere and the fantastic art work. The office is new and state-​of-​the-​art and the visit went well. Dr. Bello was great and put me at ease immediately. My visit to Avila was a week before my wedding and I had my teeth whitened after the cleaning and received many compliments on my sparkly smile the day of the wedding — thanks again Dr. Bello — I am pleased to have found a new dentist!
