I got here about 10:45, not knowing they stopped breakfast at 10:30(have submitted that correction to Unilocal) but they made me a breakfast burrito anyways. It was awesome! The chorizo is amazing and the service is wonderful. I’ll be back every time I stay at the Hotel Monaco in Seattle!

Ordered a supreme chicken burrito combo. The side of beans and rice were completely bland/tasteless. I had just a few bites of that and threw the rest away. The burrito was decent. Unfortunately their version of Pico De Gallo is throwing HUGE chunks of tomato in it. The chicken was very tasty, the cheese and sauce was good. Over all, though, I doubt I will be back to this place since the quality just isn’t quite there, even though the price is pretty decent.

Great place for lunch and breakfast. They are quick. Excellent customer service and don’t mind custom orders.

I had the chicken quesadilla and Mexican rice while my friend had the steak quesadilla. Both portions were great and everything tasted really fresh. I’m not an expert on authentic Mexican food but good food is good food. The owner and workers were all very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

If you go here for food — without expectations of ‘authentic’ Mexican — it’s super good. It is most definitely not authentic Mexican. This review is for the breakfast… Haven’t been for lunch yet. Got the bacon and egg burrito today… It’s probably four eggs in there! Crunchy bacon, and some generic pico. The optional salsa has no heat either, but like I said at the top, if you’re not expecting Mexican then it’s just really good breakfast fare. You can get potatoes in there too if you want something a little heartier. The breakfast quesadilla is sinfully loaded with cheese. At any rate, the food, whatever it is, Asian-American-Mexican or something, is delicious, fresh, and cheap. And sinfully bad for you I’m sure. Gets five stars for the yums!

If you like Tex-Mex with Texas size portions, then you’ll love this place. I am more of a Mexican street taco person. A little tomato or guacamole is fine, but they literally put a salads worth of tomatoes and iceberg lettuce on the tacos! I’m pretty disappointed. I finally tried this place because their neighboring Vietnamese restaurant was closed for the holidays.

They are convenient to my job location. I come in here occasionally. Their food isn’t bad, but it’s not very healthy. 85% of the time they mess up on my order. I have food allergies and when I ask them to omit something it’s still in my order. Due to time constraints I don’t have the time to go back wait in line & reorder and wait. They are friendly and their timing isn’t bad either. I find myself go there less and less due this issue.

One of the best values in Seattle. Marinated Carne Asada burrito combo(large burrito, rice, beans, drink) at $ 6.99! Freshly prepared in front of you, this is a must eat.

Here’s the thing about Beba’s: They’re not knock you out of your boots ameri-mexican(or deli) by any means, but what they do well is that everything is fresh, tasty, generous and cheap. I usually grab a salad(about $ 6) to avoid the food coma that beans and rice tend to give me, and they’re huge.

I work at the SMT and this place is my go to when it comes to breakfast. I always order a sausage breakfast burrito or the mile high potatoes. The price is very cheap for how much you get. The burritos are huge and its just under $ 4.50! I feel full most of the day actually and there have been many times I skipped eating lunch due to still being full from breakfast.

I had an asada quesadilla… it was fresh, hot and fast, so that’s all good… the flavor of the meat just wasn’t that great, so I picked«I’ve experienced better», even though I leaned toward a 3-star/middle-of-the-road rating.

I had a breakfast burrito with no meat which was tasty and inexpensive. This was my first time there despite working for the city of Seattle for 6 years! Being from So Cal, I’m always suspicous of any place in Seattle that advertises itself as «real Mexican» food. The burrito wasn’t particularly authenic, but when I was told I could order it with chorizo(which I didn’t; trying to watch my health and all), I was impressed. Bebas & Amigos gets a 4 because the location is tricky to get to if you don’t work at the Seattel Municipal Tower and because the name itself is horrible. It reminds of places in Mexico with directly translated names in English that just don’t make a lot fo sense. However, I would go again when I’m nearby and hungry.

Nachos, my sweet nachos. What a great, heaping pile of chicken nachos for such a small price. I walked to Bebas and Amigos for lunch with a friend one day, and while it’s a bit out of the way from most of the downtown area(we even walked from the International District), it was amazing enough to make up for it. This is a great quick lunch spot, where your food will be made fresh. It’s not super gourmet, but it’s tasty and will fill your nacho needs.

I must preface by saying that this place is great. It really is. Fresh quality ingredients… Asian owned, but Hispanic cooks. Yes. I would love to give this a 5 star review, however, the only thing is that it’s not real Mexican food. It’s more like an American Mexican place… I can’t really describe it. I know real Mexican food when I taste it. But don’t get me wrong. This place has incredibly fast and super friendly service. Very nice and very fast paced, especially during the crazy lunch hours of downtown. They are conveniently located on the side of the Municipal Tower. They have crazy space where there’s seating on the side where it may not seem like it. Much quieter than the main eating area, which is nice. Their food is priced from 3.99−6.99 I believe. I got a nice house salad, or a some kind of Mexican salad where the dressing was pico de gallo(very refreshing and light) with chopped romaines, beans, string chicken, and a side of chips and salsa. Very light lunch which I enjoyed. Their small was 3.99 which kept me so full. Their larger size I think was a dollar more. Their salads are just iceberg lettuces… nothing too fancy or special. Very simple. Nonetheless, they have everything from burrito bowls, burritos, salads, rice plates like quesadillas, and enchiladas. Food tastes fresh and very good quality. Their salsa bar is okay though – their salsas taste a little bland with little spice or salt. Very fast though for lunch hours.

Won’t return. 2 stars because the food is edible but not very good. Not real Mexican Food… Kind of like«Cali-Mexican» or that Blue Water Taco crap. Should have known better when I walked in and saw that their daily special was Spaghetti with Meatballs. Ended up paying $ 9 for 2 tacos(which were huge on flour tortillas) and a side of rice and beans. They forgot the side of rice and beans at first and also forgot to not put guacamole on the tacos… Sure, they have a salsa bar but no limes in the whole restaurant??? Overall: Overpriced, not real Mexican food, flavorless.

I think this may have to be my go-to place for Mexican food while downtown. It is clean, speedy, and has lots of space for dining inside and outside. Last time I was here, I ordered a Carne Asada Quesadilla combo. The quesadilla itself was delicious and filling: the meat was tender and utilized very flavorful spices. The rice and refried beans as sides were just okay, nothing to write home about. Keep in mind they have free salsa and jalapenos. Conclusion: Check this place out, but skip the combo. The portions are big enough already.

One of the best Nacho places downtown Seattle. I have tried both the Beef and chicken nachos, they are excellent especially with the guacamole. The meat is always fresh and they prep the meal in front of you. Fel free to add lettuce and extra guacamole at no charge, as I do. The nachos would probably taste better with cheese and sour cream. But I am lactose intolerant. So i’ll leave that up to you guys lol. Enjoy

Avoid overpriced, mediocre Mexican food downtown(Blue Water, I’m looking at you) and come here instead. Big portions for the price and quality.

Went here 2 weeks ago while on jufy duty at the Municipal Court on block to the South. Did my research on Unilocal before J.D. so I knew where to go. I had a lunch special chicken enchilada with rice, beans & a soda for around $ 6. Super good deal! There was enough chicken in the one enchilada to make 2! Pepsi products on tap but you can substitute a can of Coke or Diet Dr Pepper for no extra charge.

Stopped by this bright and colorful Mexican joint on a trip Seattle a while back and I was pleasantly surprised. Friendly service and great food. My friends and I all cleaned our plates. We were in the area doing a bit of reminiscing(I used to deliver mass quantities of sandwiches in the Seattle downtown area in a 1987 Toyota Corolla — with both the bonnet and trunk tied down with metal rope [due to multiple car accidents {provoked and unprovoked}]) and Bebas & Amigos was a pleasant surprise. Parking can be a bit of a pain in the area so you might as well do some Park & Ride action into the city. Ride them buses! Yeah, I know! When will Seattle invest some $$$ into a rapid-transit system!!! Make Steve Dunne’s dream come true!
