Bella Signature Design

Daniela and Kaleb at Bella Signature Design were the heroes of my August 31, 2012 wedding day. Of course I didn’t know this until after the big day, but then I found out all the ways they went WAY above and beyond their responsibilities for the day.
Daniela (the owner and designer) was friendly, funny, professional, and creatively a genius. She took my ideas of «peacock hues» and turned it into a beautiful, non-​cheesy version of my wedding fantasies. She helped with our favors (succulents), our flowers (hydrangea and garden roses and other gorgeous blooms), the overall design (navy linens, tall and short centerpieces, candles and glassybabies), and the cake. Oh man the cake. My cake was delivered and it was smooshed. The baker refused to come fix it, so Daniela made the caterers go whip up some frosting to cover the San Andreas Fault that had appeared on my cake. She also personally called the baker to advocate for me and explain the problem. Then she used blooms to artfully disguise the cake so my guests (and I) wouldn’t see the damage. She rescued the cake. I had no idea about any of this until the next day.
Also, in a moment of bride brain, I neglected to tell her that we had 20 tables instead of the original 18 we had planned. Whoops! No problem, she got 20 centerpieces on those tables. My mom brought a ring from my beloved deceased grandma that she wanted me to wear, Daniela tied it onto my bouquet and also superglued two pennies with the birth years of my husband and me onto my bouquet as well (something old, something borrowed). For the favors, she held a class so all of my bridesmaids could come and help me make the burlap and ribbon wrapped succulents in one evening a week or so before the wedding.
The flowers were gorgeous, healthy, and unique, the tables looked amazing, and I would hire her for another event in a heartbeat. Daniela transformed the space from rustic ceremony to cozy and magical reception. She took my ideas and made them even better. Also, when I told her I wanted to trim ¼ of the proposed budget, she had excellent suggestions and made it happen. Plus, she is housed in the Sodo Park complex, so there was no concern about the flowers not getting there (Sodo Park was our venue) or not being on time or not being fixable. She and Kaleb, one of her assistants, were truly truly amazing. My day-​of coordinator sung her praises as well. Woo!

daniela was so incredible. we hired her just as a florist, and she ended up taking care of more than that and i found myself wishing i’d just hired her for every service she offers. she even chased down a missing photobooth vendor on our wedding day without us asking! she has the most amazing attitude and a warm, wonderful personality. she made me feel at ease and taken care of on what can be such a stressful day. she took care of us so well, and the wedding was so beautiful! the floral arrangements were so gorgeous! and she had all the little details down.
i have to agree with the review below that my bouquet was quite an armful. i don’t say that in a negative way at all; it was so beautiful and really just what we had talked about. she has a great eye for color and detail. be aware that a detailed proposal will cost you a deposit, but well worth it; it applies to your total and takes her and her crew a lot of work to put together.
i would totally hire her again. hire her for your wedding or special event! you will be so happy you did.

Daniela definitely helped me to preserve some of my sanity throughout the whole wedding process. It was nice to have a vendor who did almost everything without me having to make any difficult decisions. And I’m glad I trusted her to do just that because everything was beautiful! We had met initially to go over general ideas, but basically told her that the colors I wanted to use were fuchsia, lime green, and charcoal, and what could she do with them? I gave her a budget and she was off! She designed everything beautifully… we also had her take care of drapery for our ceremony room, napkins, lighting, and other design aspects. All just stunning!
My only complaints… the bouquet that I held all day was HEAVY! After 6 hours of pictures, my arms started to go numb. If you swore that you’d go to the gym to lift weights but never make it, be sure to request a less-​heavy bouquet. Also, two of the boutonnieres for the fathers broke the day-​of so we had to nix them, but otherwise, I would highly recommend Daniela for her design creativity. She is just wonderful!

Floored. Totally floored! Daniela from Bella Signature help me throw a party recently and without her suggestions, advice, and creative spin, this party wouldn’t have been so fabulous.
From making literally the most beautiful and unique arrangements to helping with color schemes and even linen suggestions, Daniela made this party what it was. I’d been going for a Mat Hatter-​esque spiked tea party. She chose modern colors and the flowers she used were all fresh and beautiful. Nothing wilting, nothing cheap — it was A+ work. In keeping with the theme of the evening not only did the flowers match the entire scheme of the party, she added moss and succulents and other creative touches to really drive the theme home. I can’t recommend her work enough — if I’m ever in need of her services again I won’t hesitate to give her a call!
