Carri is Amazing. Her ability to find the root causes of your ailment and the knowledge to treat them is second to none. After suffering a severe accident and breaking my pelvis, I was doing PT at a location near my house for about 1 year, 2 times a week with minimal results. I was still limited in mobility and in constant pain. I was fortunate to find Carri and in just 3 sessions, she was able to get me back to doing the basic things in life that I used to take for granted pain free. After a total of 8 sessions, I was able to exercise regularly and begin to regain control of my activities. My family and I are grateful for Carri, her approach and professionalism stands head and shoulders above the rest!

Carrie has a sixth sense for finding the root of the problem. I’ve been to many PTs over the years and she is without a doubt the most skilled. Her goal is to help you recover and stop seeing her. Her techniques are unique and successful, and of course there are exercises for you to do at home. She is the Big Fish in a sea of not so good little fish. You will wonder why all the other physical therapists aren’t as in tune with the human body as she is. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Amazing results in short time! I first went to Carri with agonizing back pain!
I had been to 4 PT’s, a Physiatrist & a Sports Medicine doctor for my back over the last 2 years with barely any improvement and a faulty diagnosis. (2 PT’s actually made me much worse!) I had been in a MVA 9 years ago that resulted in herniated bulging discs in my low back. This injury brought on sudden & extremely painful Lateral Lumbar Stenosis so that I could no longer do normal activities like standing and folding laundry let alone go for a walk. After only 3 visits I was completely pain free and started going for long walks again. Two months later I rejoined my gym and got back to swimming! I am so eternally grateful to Carri! I had to update progress I’ve made after going to Carri Kaplan for physical therapy. Gone are the days when I am incapacitated after straining something without exactly knowing what I was doing. I can honestly say that due to her vast knowledge she has taught me enough about myself that I know my limits which enables me to become stronger, more mobile, and free from chronic pain. In addition, I don’t think I have even averaged visiting her once a month, because her technique and guidance is so effective. She is NOT about the money. She really wants to help people heal. She’s highly responsive and incredibly reliable. Now only if she taught yoga would everything be complete. :-)

Wait what do you mean you are not going to bring me in a dozen + times to «assess» my problem? Oh it’s because you know what you are doing and not trying to rack up a bill. Recently I went in for a knee issue and my own diagnosis of the problem (come on you know you’ve diagnosed health issues on Web MD) and Carri Kaplan (the most energetic and dynamic human I’ve ever seen packed into such a small frame) set me straight. Bonus? She use to be a massage therapist. Another bonus? She use to teach yoga. So in my three appointments I really received 6 sessions. Sure I can go to a doctor, receive a pill, and cover up the problem, but I want to solve rather then medicate. If you agree Carri is your PT. Not only did she give me exercises for the issue, she went well above and beyond by assessing many other area I could improve to support the healing regiment (including strengthening my yoga routine). I feel lucky to have great doctors who turned me on to Carri, I hope this review will point you in the right direction.

Carri was awesome! I love her down to earth sensible approach, strong hands and holistic approach to handling my shoulder issues. I’m a competitive beach volleyball player who came to Carri with serious pain in my shoulder. Through several sessions, Carri fixed my pain, gave me exercises to strengthen weaker muscles and helped me analyze how my hitting arm swing needed to be changed. After about 6 visits, my shoulder feels great and I’m back to playing many times a week/​competing. I loved that she was an athlete too and could relate to the frustration of an injury keeping you from something that you love to do.

I am heading back to see Carri. After arthroscopic knee surgery, she was the only one who really helped me. She gets my complicated body and is kind, helpful, and understanding. Carri puts a lot of thought into here treatments and gives you concrete ideas and exercises to help you help yourself.

I am amazed at how Carri Kaplan at Bend To Mend helped me alleviate my pain issues. She structured stretching and exercises and massage to address the problems that I described to her. Her solutions directly improved my physical activities. I would go to her again.

Carri Kaplan is a great physical therapist! She has a balanced and blended approach that includes massage-​like techniques, visceral manipulation, targeted body work, stretches, and of course, plenty of «homework» exercises to do on your own to help you get better. Carri Kaplan, the owner of Bend to Mend Physical Therapy is amazing! She is so knowledgeable about how everything in your body works together. Carri was recommended to my husband by our doctor for debilitating back pain. She has worked with my husband for about six weeks and the results hve been amazing! He is so much more comfortable now.
Carri combines many different therapies, she is trained as a massage therapist as well as a physical therapist, and she is able to combine her knowledge in multiple disciplines to treat the whole person. She sends you home with exercises that are easy to do in a home environment and has realistic expectations.
My husband has had such great results, that I’ve recently started seeing Carri myself for an old knee injury that never healed completely. I am already feeling better and plan to use Carri to help me develop an exercise plan (She’s a certified personal trainer as well! This lady is SMART!) in a few weeks!
