Established in 2004.

Benevia was founded in 2003 with a commitment to transforming the way older adults and their families navigate later life transitions. Through both personal and professional experiences, Benevia’s co-​founders (Paul Goldberg, Michael Nemirow, and Eric Rovner) identified that while there are numerous services to assist families with a specific healthcare or housing need, most families have multiple service needs. With this in mind, Benevia was formed to provide a holistic and personalized approach to the transition process. The Benevia team has successfully simplified transitions for hundreds of families and our clients appreciate the unique blend of expertise, genuine caring, and respect we bring to each and every transition we support.

Business Owner

With more than 15 years in the retirement living industry, Eric’s passion for transforming the way older adults and their families navigate transitions has shaped the Benevia service model. Eric holds responsibility for the strategic direction of the company, leading new business development activities, developing and managing the marketing function, and ensuring service quality.

Prior to Benevia, Eric served for seven years as the Corporate Director of Marketing for Era Living Communities, one of the premier retirement living development/​management companies in the Puget Sound region. Eric’s professional background in senior living also includes Erickson Communities based in Baltimore and Glenwood Senior Living, formerly based in Chicago.
