Rose is awesome. Comes right to your house, does only what is needed, doesn’t waste time or money. As good as it gets!!!

Our Siberian started to get matted fur behind his legs and everywhere we called wanted to do a lion cut (probably to charge us more). Rose came and shaved his belly and behind and our problem was solved and for half the price. She did a great job cleaning his ears and teeth, stripping his undercoat, and clipping his nails. Having her come back every few months for sure!

I recently had Rose give my cat a lion cut and she did an amazing job! She was very, very thorough and made sure I was satisfied with the job she did. I liked that the package included stuff like teeth cleaning and ear cleaning.
She also knows a lot about cats, which is pretty cool! I will absolutely be using her again and would recommend her to anyone.

We recently had our first experience with Rose for grooming. I have a large Maine Coon that is a little overweight and has a hard time grooming her long coat properly. Rose did an excellent job cutting her hair. My perception is that this haircut was far less stressful for our kitty than previous experiences with other groomers. I intend on being a repeat customer, and highly recommend her.

I’m so grateful for Rose and the care she gives our kitties! Everything goes quickly and smoothly and it’s over before they even know it. Ravi was even playing with her today during the grooming he was so relaxed in her hands.

I highly recommend Rose for cat grooming! My boyfriend and I are fostering my mom’s cats (11-​year old brother/​sister Maine Coons). They’ve been through a lot since losing my mom and I wanted a groomer who was gentle and knowledgeable regarding cat behavior. I hit the jackpot with Rose. She gave the male, Mister, a Lion cut gently but quickly, continually checked his pulse and was informative and gracious throughout the visit. Mister looks great, feels good and I can’t stop petting him :) Thanks, Rose, you’re in the right business!

This was our first experience with Rose and Better Kitty Spa, and I am so thrilled that we found her. We have two fat (and hairy) Ragdolls, and now they look like beautiful velvet lions. Still fat, but that’s beyond Rose’s control.
Rose was SO sweet with the cats, clearly an expert. Not only did she clip nails, bathe them and give them a full lion cut, she also mentioned some dental and grooming issues that we should keep our eye on. I felt totally comfortable having Rose in our home, and we will absolutely be hiring her for another round of haircuts.

Had Rose to my home today to groom my «lazy groomer» cat. She was wonderful! Wasn’t sure what to expect or if I needed to get anything ready for her visit. She used our bathtub and brought all needed supplies except for a few towels. She had an obvious love of kitties and made what could have been an ugly experience for the cat, not too bad! Rose was thorough and explained every step along the way.
I’d highly recommend using this service.

Our Buckley is 13, and has always had weak teeth. The vet recommends regular cleaning, but last time we took him in they nearly drowned him and collapsed a lung. We are so grateful to have found Rose! She comes to the house and cleans Buckley’s teeth without anesthesia and the risks associated with it. Buckley complained a bit during the procedure, but he wasn’t really traumatized at all and walked away happy. The same would not be true if he had gone to the vet! The ride in the car alone would have made him grumpy for a day or two!
Rose is a natural with cats. Her prices are reasonable. We will be using her regularly and recommend her highly! Rather than the yearly risky vet teeth cleaning for hundreds of dollars (plus expensive pre-​testing), Buckley will have his teeth cleaned monthly. This will likely extend both quality and quantity of his life.
We look forward to trying Rose’s grooming skills on our long-​haired kitty soon!

Rose has volunteered her grooming skills for the shelter cats at PAWS Cat City (I’m the supervisor there). She has excellent cat handling skills and does everything as gently and non-​traumatically as possible. She’s done everything from nail trims to lion cuts on badly matted cats to cleaning chin acne. She handles all types of cats from combative to terrified with calm and confidence. I highly recommend her, especially at the low prices she charges for in-​home service!

I’ve had Rose from Better Kitty Spa groom my cat about 4 times now and have been pleased each time. My cat actually loves getting groomed by her, which is a switch. And so nice to not have to drive my cat somewhere. I have a cat who is not so good at her own personal hygiene, so it’s nice to have someone who will come to your home & charge a reasonable price for this service. I will keep on using her!

If you keep up with my posts, you know that I had to put my cat Carmine down over the weekend, and that I had to make the decision long distance, while I was in Omaha. I want to let you know about Rose from Better Kitty. Carmine was diabetic, so finding someone to take care of him was a little problematic. He needed a shot of insulin twice a day. I met Rose earlier this year when she came to my house to give him a much-​needed lion cut (she is a mobile groomer, and is the official groomer for PAWS here in Seattle). In addition to mobile cat grooming, she also does home visits (very affordably). Before Carmine’s emergency, she sent me several thoughtful notes and pictures, letting me know how he was doing in my absence. When she saw that he was unwell, she called me immediately and took him to an emergency vet. After talking to the vet, I determined that it was in Carmine’s best interests to have him put down (he was an elderly diabetic cat with kidney failure). I couldn’t be there, but Rose generously offered to be there for him. I know that Carmine liked Rose, because he gave her the time of day – even after a bath and a lion cut. In addition to being with my cat on his deathbed, she came back to my apartment and cleaned up the related mess. Rose has a couple of not great reviews on
, but my experience with her has been really good. I am so thankful to her for being there for me and Carmine. So if you are going out of town and want an affordable cat sitter, contact Rose at Better Kitty. Also if you have a cat that needs some help in the grooming department. I think Carmine loved his lion cut. Rose is a compassionate, caring cat lover who really knows a lot about cats and how to treat them. I think she is great.

Sadly this review is for non-​service. Rose no-​showed on our scheduled appointment, never returned my calls or emails and never apologized. So confusing. I wanted to support someone building her business but it seems she still needs to work out some major kinks.

First of all, I’m very lucky to have found Rose and her business. We needed someone to groom one of my cats because she got messy around her tail. After my partner talked to Rose over the phone, she made an exception and came to my place on her day off! I was very impressed by her ability to interact with our cats and how gentile she was. She groomed and clean my messy cat, who doesn’t get near anybody. I’m really looking forward to book another appointment with Rose soon. I need help with my cats since I recently adopted them and they are still acclimating. Rose offered a behavioral service, which she also provides, and I’ll ask her to help me with the cats more in the future. Rose really came to the rescue!

I purchased an Amazon Local deal for a lion cut for my cat, and Rose was able to get it scheduled for the following day. I was super satisfied with the level of service that she provided — and my cat looks great.
My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that my level of involvement was not clearly explained to me prior to the start of the grooming procedure. Also I would have cleared the bathroom of ALL rugs /​towels /​etc. prior to the start because the process was really a mess. But the cat came through the experience looking great, and Rose recommended aftercare which solved all my kitty’s dilemmas. I have scheduled followup visits to keep my (old) cat looking tidy!

Rose is awesome. I have a 20 year old lady kitty who is always mad these days when anyone messes with her [in my pic]. After she bit my husband on the way to a vet visit (and he had to go to the ER and take antibiotics for a week), he said he was done helping me groom her. Since she doesn’t groom herself anymore she requires a bath, lots of combing, and someone with no fear. Rose takes care of my old friend easily (even though kitty complains loudly) and my cat looks great and is super soft when Rose is done. She doesn’t even charge extra for the bath versus her usual grooming fee.
Rose also does cat sitting and she handles all my cats medications, cleans theirs boxes, grooms them, does dishes, and anything or everything else you ask her to do while you are away. I’m so glad I found her and I don’t have to worry about my oldy kitty having to leave the comfort of her house to get her hair done.

I purchased a «punch card» from an Amazon Local deal. This merchant never answered the phoned or returned my messages. After two weeks the voucher section on Amazon shows that I used the deal. Thankfully I purchased through Amazon and received a refund and reported this incident.

I purchased an Amazon Local deal for this company. Rose cancelled my first appointment 10 minutes before she was supposed to arrive, and didn’t make the second. The third time she didn’t show due to a scheduling misunderstanding. I am disappointed as I wanted my kitty to get a lion cut from her.

My cat Mailis is getting older and will not let us brush her. I found Better Kitty Spa on Unilocal and Rose came to the rescue. She was fast and the price was great, I was worried it was going to take hours to do the job so I was worried about the price… NO PROBLEM best money I have ever spent. Thanks again Better Kitty Spa. Oh and my kitty looks fabulous. Like a baby panther.

You can tell immediately that Rose cares about cats. My long-​hair ginger kitty can be quite difficult to groom after he decides he «is done», but Rose gives him a «time out» to calm down and resumes without skipping a beat. Her rates are reasonable too.
I do want to share one exceptional story though. I arrived home from work late on a Friday evening after a long week and found that my cat had developed a bad abscess (as the result of a fight with another cat). I was a little overwhelmed, but Rose dropped everything, came over, and helped me apply compresses and treat the infected wounds. She also made time for my cat later during the same weekend with no advance notice and even boarded him overnight.
