Another art gallery in Greenwood. Actually, they used to be in the Greenwood Collective but moved into a new place above Chase Bank.
I went during the open house and they had some pretty cool pieces displayed. I can’t wait to see what they have in store in the future. I will be checking this place out during the Greenwood Art Walk and may even buy a piece.

I absolutely LOVE Bherd Studios! As an event space to rent or check out as a guest, this space is fabulous.
Once I checked out the Urban Graffiti Art Exhibit and was totally blown away. Awesome art, local music, wine, snacks and art-​lovers. What could be better?

Seattle is honored to have this gallery. It hosts amazing shows, is super supportive of Seattle artists and gives people the opportunity to collect excellent art. Thank you!

It was my first time here and with anticipation, I looked forward to the Urban Graffiti Art Exhibit at Bherd Studios. It wasn’t until I walked through the nondescript door that I realised that I had to enter through the Greenwood Collective first. How serendipitous that it happened to be on the same day as the Penguins On The March Auction!
I meandered my way around the rooms checking out the penguins as well as the furnishings. Can you say LION? I met two of the artists who did the penguins (Hi Irene + Vivian!) and we talked about izakaya + movies. I tore myself away from the adorable tribe of penguins to complete my original mission and check out Bherd.
I followed the signage down a narrow stairwell. (Be wary of that last step!) And once downstairs, I was glad I descended down the rabbit hole. The art that awaited was amazing. Osgood’s artwork was wickedly good and I felt my eyes bulge like some of his subjects in his work.
Hyperbole aside, seriously get down here and check out this place. In addition to Bherd, there are fifteen other businesses that share the space. I placed myself on multiple mailing lists so I’ll be ready for the next gathering, camera in hand and wallet ready to go! Thanks for a fantastic night of art and camaraderie.

Bherd Studios is a new and upcoming Art Gallery, by one of my favorite local artists John Osgood! He had created this space into his personal Art studio to work on his pieces in the back and then utilizes the front as retail for his men’s and women’s clothing line as well as his Art that is for sale on the walls! Might I add that his work is amazing! to anyone that is an Art connoisseur I encourage you to stop by or sign up for an invite to his upcoming events!
