Normally I’m more of a Hollywood Video girl myself, but I quite like this Blockbuster. It’s clean, it’s spacious, and it has a pretty wide selection of movies. It’s rarely been sold out of a movie that I want to see(even new releases) and it’s a really close walk from my boyfriend’s apartment. The employees are the best part of this location, though. They are funny and friendly and never hesitate to give you great recommendations for films based on your likes and dislikes. They seem to remember both my boyfriend and I whenever we come in(even sometimes when our visits become sporadic), which makes me feel very comfortable and welcomed. I would definitely recommend this location!

Why does Blockbuster need a review? There are a couple things about this one that are distinctive, at least to me. Número uno: The guys(and couple girls) that work here never hesitate to give me suggestions. I come here *all* the time, because both me and my boyfriend have those blockbuster online accounts where they send you movies and you can bring them back for free DVD’s. We both have the three DVD at a time, so generally we have like 12 DVDs. Always. Like I was saying, they always give me suggestions and as of yet, never let me down. HOWEVER. I need suggestions BECAUSE: Numero dos: They are ALWAYS out of the big releases. ALWAYSALWAYSALWAYS. It’s ridiculous. We went yesterday to pick up the second disc of Weeds, which was all out, and so was EVERYTHING else. Everything. And I’ve been trying to get Basketball Diaries for weeks, and they’re always out of it. If a store is known for selling out of their DVDs, maybe its a sign you should get a bigger stock. Right? Numero tres: They are putting in a section solely for Indie films. THANK you. Whoever thought of this, you should be president of the company(although I am sure my boyfriend feels quite the contrary.) Apparently, Blockbuster is owned by Mormons(no offense, I used to BE one) and they don’t allow certain movies on their shelves. They also edit the ones they do have. This, my friends, SUCKS. But what can I do? It’s 3 blocks from where I live. *sigh*
