Simply the best! I have ordered numerous bouquets over the past few years from Buckets — everything from sympathy, to birthday, to congratulations — Michael just gets it and knows exactly how to design the perfect bouquet.
And he couldn’t be more accommodating and sweet! One of my favorite parts of ordering the flowers is getting to work with him.
Just earlier this week I ordered a bouquet for a colleague and asked him to make it «girly beautiful»… he nailed it! To my office arrives a BEAUTIFUL bouquet filled with pink and red roses, a lovely orchid and a number of other flowers I have never seen before, but fit together in a colorful… «girly-​beautiful» arrangement! My colleague loved the flowers and so did everyone else in the office — lots of new customers headed your way, Michael!

Michael has done a great job with non-​traditional flower settings and I am really pleased calling him every year. Thanks Michael.

I called up having no idea what kind of flowers I wanted to send. Just that it was for someone who was sick. And Michael asked me if he should make it colorful and I said yes.
The flowers got delivered the next day because I called after 11 am. When my friend picked it from her concierge, she was so happy to see them that she completely forgot about her sore throat and aches.
She texted me and I could feel her happiness overflowing from the text message.

Buckets is spectacular! I called Michael for a same-​day delivery based on the previous reviews and the 5 Star postings are absolutely spot on! Not only is he pleasant from the minute he answers the phone, his creativity is amazing! The flowers are gorgeous and unique, not a typical arrangement at all! I HIGHLY recommend!

I called Michael needing same-​day flowers delivered to a friend who just had a baby. The delivery truck had already left for the day and Michael, sensing my panic, offered to deliver the flowers himself.

Michael is incredible. He just searched three warehouses for the flowers I was looking for and when he couldn’t locate any, told me where in my area I’d be likely to find them. He was the nicest to deal with and I’d recommend him to the moon and back. He will definitely be my go to in future for all my flower needs!

Michael and his flower arrangements are AMAZING!!! I called in on short notice and needed a floral arrangement ASAP and he not only put a beautiful arrangement together within my budget but also let me pick it up at his Georgetown studio and since my kids were in the car with me he hand delivered me the flowers in the car and ran back up and down with my card to pay for them!!! I will only buy my floral arrangements from him now, what service!!!

I can not recommend Buckets more and I do not say that lightly. I grew up in a family with a florist business, so can find fault with most arrangements, but this was perfect!

I thought I’d run down to Pike’s to get a boutique of flowers, until there was ZERO parking. I only have an hour lunch break and it’s my anniversary. Luckily, I found this place. Even though it was remote and in a odd spot, it’s my new GO TO.

Michael is awesome! Was looking for a table top garland for a baby shower on Mother’s Day weekend of all weekends and out of all the places I called, he was the only one that tried to get it for me and succeeded! I haven’t written a review in a long time, but after another great experience today, I feel compelled…
Just tremendous service and extraordinary flowers. Why am I qualified to make this judgment? Because, 1), I am a HIGH MAINTENANCE woman and 2). Buckets has been my go-​to florist in Seattle for a few years now.
I work for a Seattle-​based company but have until recently lived in NYC. I found Buckets on Unilocal and tried them out a couple of years back. We’ve done a few «congrats» bouquets for coworkers in the Seattle office, and recently a «F#%@ You» bouquet celebrating when a coworker resigned and went to a kinder, gentler company (t was breathtaking and TALL — very hard to miss!)
Well, then I moved out of the country. But today I called Michael from my current home (central Europe) and left a voice mail. He called me back from his mobile, took my order quickly, and got flowers delivered within just a couple of hours. The photos are amazing and my friend was delighted.
What I love about Michael and Buckets:
I can describe the tone of the occasion and the style of the recipient and he always designs something that is spot-​on appropriate. I love that he works with what is in season and I can trust the design without needing to know the specific flowers (and there are no fillers, just great quality). I can give a budget range and he can work within that (though honestly you get what you pay for with flowers and I tend to like the $ 60 — $ 100 range for true «wow» factor).
In summary: great service, great quality, dependable delivery, gorgeous designs and a lovely person to work with. And I’m a high maintenance beezie from NYC. :)

Thought I would share this personal story with you…
So, I had flowers delivered for my wife last Friday. You know, the special kind where you totally surprise her for no reason. Or so I thought… I spent a decent amount of money and went to the best florist I know in Seattle (Buckets). I have dealt with Michael before and always had a great experience. Long story short, it turns out the flowers got delivered and then subsequently stolen from our building. Police Involved, Building Owner involved, and Michael the florist was involved.
Guess who was the only person that wanted to make it right? You guessed it, Michael at Buckets. In the end, more flowers were delivered to my wife and they were absolutely stunning. He even made a personal call to me to ensure they got delivered to her. I never write posts like this but I feel compelled to spread the word.
As far as I’m concerned Michael runs the best damn florist shop in Seattle and he is 100% genuine. So when people ask you if you know a flower guy — tell them «as a matter of fact I do». If you need flowers or know someone who may — Michael is the man and he deserves more business for making this right!
He definitely deserves some good vibes sent his way. You will be blown away.

This place was great! I wanted to get my girlfriend flowers delivered to her work for her birthday, but had no idea how to go about doing it. I listen to sports radio a lot and heard ads for
so I looked there. Seemed fine but everything was branded and generic and I knew I had to look elsewhere.
The Unilocal community lead me to this place. I had read Michael was fantastic, so I gave him a call. So glad I did. He helped me out and had a few laughs over the phone and said he’d put together so, etching large, tasteful and beautiful. I was thrilled and couldn’t wait to see how my girl liked it.
The next day I heard wonderful reviews from her! She said she saw it next to another delivery and really hoped this one was hers as it was so perfect, and it was! (BIG points for me, thanks Michael!!! :)) she felt special and had all the ladies at her office hovering around her looking at them and asking questions. It’s made her day, so thank you so much Buckets, I could have never done it myself.

Umm, it’s 12:30pm and I just realize it’s my m-i-law’s birthday. OOPS! Looking for local shops and nobody’s answering since it’s lunch time. Finally Michael answers. He’s alone in the shop today but offers to find me someone else local who can help me out. 10 mins later, Michael calls me back and tells me not to worry, he’ll make the arrangements for me and deliver it right away.

Another reason to love Unilocal!I live in San Francisco and wanted to send flowers in Washington state. Buckets had great reviews and the flowers looked great not the usual cookie cutter variety. I could not be happier with the finished product. My friend had just lost a parent and noted that even upon return home after services the arrangement looked amazing. I called Buckets from Japan this morning right at their opening time. I needed a same day arrangement to be delivered to my SO who is staying at a hotel downtown. He was going to arrive around 2pm, and I was hoping I could get an arrangement last minute.
The service couldn’t have been better. Michael and I talked a little bit about flowers, colors and my price range, and I really just left the rest to him. I didn’t have a gift message prepared (it was 1:30am my time, so I was out of it), so I had to call back later to give it to Michael.
The resulting arrangement was beautiful. What a great experience!

First let me just say … Wow.
I’ve read the reviews below about the stellar customer service from Buckets and honestly my hope was for at least ½ as good as the reviews.
I recieved even better… huh? is that possible. If there were 10 stars I would give it to Buckets. Michael is a complete professional and sweetheart all in one. Felt like my new BFF… even on the first phone call. relaxed, funny, laughter, and personal customer interaction.
I had a small intimate wedding and Michael was so helpful and answered questions and made changes and additions with such a sweet disposition. Even previewed my dress in order to get just the right bouquet. He remembered me down to the smallest detail when ever I called.
The flowers were gorgeous and perfect. My bouquet, corsages and the boutineers made my day. He delivered them to my door on St. Patricks day the morning of my wedding in the SNOW. lol by the afternoon of my wedding it was sunny and almost warm… go figure. Seattle weather always makes things interesting.
