Seems like every time I went to my old dentist they were pushing me into some procedure or device (night guard, braces, root canal…). Dr. Nakagawa and his staff are exceptionally thorough, prompt, and friendly but most importantly have never recommended any of the junk my last dentist wanted to sell me on. I’ve been going for about two years now and will continue to see him until I no longer need my teeth.

My family and I have been going to Dr Nakagawa for over 10 years and have been nothing but pleased. The staff is always incredibly nice and they really know their stuff. They have great dental hygenists that are gentle and thoughtful. The office is bright and cheery. My daughter doesn’t show the least bit of apprehension about going to the dentist, and goes without complaint, which is a gift in and of itself! :-) Easy parking in the lot across the street. Elevator in the building if stairs are a problem for you. I have recommended them to friends and they have all been happy with the care they have gotten there too.

When my old dentist retired, I asked HIM where he goes for his dental work and he said Byron Nakagawa, in West Seattle. I’ve been seeing Dr. Nakagawa for 15 years and love his gentle manner, talent and expertise, the efficiency with which he runs his office and his wonderful staff. Like the last reviewer, it’s worth the drive to West Seattle, plus Bakery Nouveau is nearby, always worth a stop!

Dr. Nakagawa and his staff are always extremely knowledgeable, efficient, caring, and most of all pleasant! Yes, I know, I said a dentist was pleasant and I didn’t have novocaine in my mouth!
I happened to come across Dr. Nakagawa after having a toothache and looking online. After a few rave reviews, everything they said about him was true! He is really quite knowledgeable in his field and stays ahead of the game by keeping abreast of new developments and procedures.
I have been going to him for a few years, and despite having to drive all the way to West Seattle, it is well worth it!
