Not sure what to say that hasn’t already been said. Charles is a stand-​up guy. Put in a new deck, was insanely friendly and also really cool. My friend and I waited in his very comfy trailer and then left happy. Unfortunately, because the van I brought in was super old, the front speaker needed re-​wiring. I came back the next week, he figured out how to remove the panel (not simple) of my door by doing prior research, and fixed it. Charged me only $ 25 for fixing the speaker when it took nearly an hour of his time.
Seriously, don’t go somewhere else unless you want boring. This type of customer interaction has been lost in our world, glad I got to chill with him and his friends.

Well, another 5 star review for Mr. C & C… Charles. It’s pretty hard not to rave about this guy and what he does. In my case he was putting in a Transit Blue HF unit with pro — clip holder and built in charger for my phone. This enables my Porsche 911 to stay with a stock stereo head unit but provides hands free service for calling, texting, music, navigation, etc… really cool stuff.
I drove out to his house and we talked about the equipment and he was already familiar with it’s installation and use. Perfect! I made an appointment with Charles to do the install and also offered to reimburse him for coming to my home and doing it there. It was really worth it for me and I was surprised to find out that he does not do this to often these days because people were taking advantage of him. Mr. Charles is just plain honest… works hard and does it right and is very reasonable for what he does. He said he would be there at 11:30 and he was. Backed his truck up and started setting up. No sooner than I went in to see what I could make for lunch for us than he was in the Porsche already and with his headlamp on his head already had the head unit out and was putting gear in. He is very fast, we tested everything and I was very happy with the entire system. He apparently has vendors he can use for equipment or you can supply him with what you want to install. Personally I would call him and then E-​mail him with what you want to accomplish. Give him all your car info and he researches what works best and for the best value then provides you with a estimate. I’m having him back to install pro-​clips in two other cars along with hardwired charging bases. Thank you Charles and best wishes.

I needed a stereo installed in my car because my fiancé and I were leaving on a road trip to Central, Oregon the next day, and I knew we would go crazy listening to the sound of wind for 6 – 7 hours.
Charles’ friendliness, professionalism, and prompt quick service was excellent and top notch, not to mention his incredibly fair pricing.
I arrived 15 minutes before the appointment was scheduled and he immediately went to work, all while making small talk. He had the stereo installed and done no more than 30 minutes later. He even threw in an auxiliary cable so I could hook up my phone to the stereo FOR FREE! I would recommend C & C Stereo to all my friends, family, and frankly anyone else looking to get a stereo installed.

Went back to Charles to have a deck and speakers put in my truck. As usual he was:
1. Professional. The guy understands business and is honest and straightforward from the get-​go.
2. Punctual. He does what he says he’ll do, when he says he’ll do it. No surprises about when your car will be ready.
3. A perfectionist. Everything he does looks like factory. If he doesn’t like the way something fits, he’ll keep working it until it’s right.
I would so rather give my business to an honest man like this (as opposed to the big box stores). This dude has been killing it for years for a reason. He’s just that good.

This place is great. Attention to detail, super friendly, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. Charles was courteous and went the extra mile being creative with his work and explaining everything to me in detail. Charles even opened up early without me asking because he knew I had a short window to work with. I drive a hybrid with active noise cancelation and it was no problem for Charles to work with. A+ recommendation and I’ll be back to have him take care of my other car.

Charles is a really nice guy. I didn’t know what to expect as I didn’t have any contact with him before hand. My wife was the one emailing him. I thought I was going to be walking to a traditional business storefront. Charles works out of his house. He has a trailer with a heater and couches to keep you comfortable. The install took about an hour as he estimated. I honestly didn’t expect him to show me how to use my new stereo, but he sat with me in the car and patiently showed me all the new goodies my stereo system had to offer. We were coming from the original tape deck in our old Honda, so it was a bit overwhelming. Charlie’s happily answered any and all questions and in my case, explained more than once. We are so happy with our new stereo. I accidentally left my book at the house and when I went back, I had the chance to talk to him about speakers. Instead of just upselling me, Charles went over all my options and explained that I wouldn’t be getting a big sound difference until we added a sub woofer. I really appreciated his honesty– I think another business could of promised that new speakers in itself would make a big difference and I would of left disappointed. I feel like I can trust him and would recommend him to anyone who is looking! He also does more than stereos. When I went to pick up my book, he was working on putting a rear camera on a car. He’s very experienced and has been doing this since the 90’s. Give him a chance and I’m sure you will leave as happy as I did.

I had a great experience, Charles was super knowledgable and easy to work with. He got the stero installed quickly, and even showed me how to use it. LOVE my new stero. The experience could not have been better!

I have to say that Charles was awesome to work with! I needed a very old system with blown speakers replaced with a new stereo and speakers. He did a great job, was very fast and so friendly. Before I even met him, he gave me an estimate online. He is very responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend him for your car stereo needs.

I have only great things to say about Charles, owner/​proprietor of C&C Stereos, and the work he does. I heartily recommend him for any and all of your interior auto system needs.
Our car had been worked on elsewhere, with a poor recommendation for a backup camera and shoddy, unreliable workmanship for the installation of both the camera and a dashboard unit. But Charles offers top-​notch recommendations and excellent service at a reasonable price, and also has an encyclopedic knowledge of audio, camera, and even electrical system compatibility for many different makes and models.
Prior to our appointment, we emailed with him and he recommended several wires needed to properly complete the installation of a third-​party dash unit. He was very responsive and extremely detailed, and his recommendations were precise and accurate. When the steering wheel kit he had on hand didn’t seem to be compatible with our unit, he tried multiple vendors’ kits and wasn’t satisfied until he delivered full functionality. He even improvised a way to connect the auxiliary input, which we thought we wouldn’t have access to since removing the factory-​original unit. His on-​site «waiting area» trailer was very comfy, particularly as I went during a warmer month of the year. And despite all the hard work he put in across two visits (the second visit was needed because of a mistake on our end), he was as friendly and personable as they come, from our first emails to the final post-​installation run-​through.
Bottom line: Charles IS your guy. If you live in greater Seattle, there’s really no point in going anywhere else.

I want to be super clear here, Charles deserves like, 10 stars. or 5 really big, shiny ass stars. He is not only amazing, super friendly, and knowledgeable, but he’s also perfectly willing to help you build/​do whatever you want to do to your car. I didn’t know what kind of dash cam to use, what wires to use — I’m basically what you’d call car-​stupid. But I wanted to go to someone who was willing to explain things to me and recommend things that I could safely say have turned out AWESOME. He’s SO easy to work with and answers emails lightning quick. If I ever want to do anything else to my car, I’m definitely going back to him as long as I live in this state. Honestly, good people like this deserve all the business he can get. I almost didn’t want to write this because I wanted to keep him to ourselves, but i’d be such a selfish bastard.

C & C stereos rules. A cool guy named Charles runs the business out of his family’s driveway — he does quality stereo installations for a very reasonable price. Charles put a new pioneer system in my 1995 Mazda protégé and it sounds and works great. Definitely give him a call if you need any kind of work done, as it is my understanding that this guy can work with a diverse range of vehicles to install just about any kind of sound system you want. Plus he’s just a really nice man and probably more fun to talk to than the people at car toys and what not.

I did some researching on Unilocal before I decided to go somewhere. I gave Charles a ring to give me an estimate and the prices were exactly what he said. He took the time to research what worked with my car and gave me a few options.
Next morning I drove to him and discussed what I wanted to get installed in my car. Told me to come back in an hour and put me in his schedule. Waited in his waiting area (trailer plus some seats outside because of weather), within 30 minutes, my car was ready to go. Charles is a great person to deal with, no hassle like big companies. Why not support a local owned company.
I highly recommended Charles. He’s a real friendly guy that knows enough about cars and has been doing it long enough. Definitely coming back for other installments because I don’t know how to do it myself!

Charles did a great job on our stereo install. He was really patient with me as I asked a bunch of questions over email, and had to change the appointment time a couple times. When it came to the actual install, he did a superb job, finished when he said he would and for the amount he said he would charge. He didn’t nickel-​and-​dime me for all the little things like most of the stereo places do either. No complaints whatsoever. Don’t be deterred by the fact that he runs his business out of a home — it doesn’t affect the quality of his work, and means he can offer you lower prices. All around a great experience! Skip the bad service, high prices and dishonesty of places like Car Toys and go see Charles instead. You’ll be glad you did!

I needed to upgrade my aftermarket stereo because it hasn’t been compatible with my iOS devices for some time and that was driving me nuts. I picked up a relatively inexpensive Bluetooth Kenwood deck from Frye’s but refused to let them install it since they’re all 18 years old and give the world’s worst consumer advice. I found Charles on Unilocal and made an appointment. Had to wait a few days, but the wait was worth it. Super quick install (under an hour). The price was right and everything works like a dream. Major life upgrade. I’ve had stereos installed by CarToys guys and they’re okay, but more expensive and always want to upgrade you to some technology you don’t need or want. This was a way more relaxed experience for less money and the exact outcome I wanted. Can’t ask for more than that.

Had to amend the review from 5 to 3 stars. After a few days in the sun, my side trim next to the windshield fell down, just hanging from the newly installed mic wire. All 3 clips were broken off the trim. And the velcro that replaced it wasn’t sticking in the hot sun. I let charles know that his fix didn’t work. Looks like I’ll be fixing it myself.
What a great experience. Charles is very knowledgeable in his chosen field of stereo installs and his prices are very reasonable. I called to make an appointment, told him what I had, he scheduled me in the next day. He was done in about 40 minutes. After he finished I made another appointment for a second car. I wanted the same stereo, Charles picked it up the next day and installed in 30 minutes. I’ve been to car stereo franchise shops in the past, after this I see no reason to ever go to another one.

I went to C& C Stereos a month and half ago. The installation process was efficient, short amount of time, and professionally completed. There were no scratches on my dash. I could tell Charles handled my car with care.
He even showed me how to use the stereo.
I highly advise that you go here. Don’t over pay and get some botch job somewhere else. Get a flawless stereo install from him.

I have called several times (at different times of day) and NO ONE ever answers the phone?! I selected these guys to do an install based on these reviews… what’s the point if I can’t get ahold of them :/​

Charles did a great job at a great price. I absolutely recommend him.
I wanted to be able to listen to my iPhone in my car, an 08 Honda without an audio in jack I emailed Charles after seeing the good reviews on here. He made a recommendation of what sort of hardware to buy. I ordered it and was able to make an appointment with him within a few days of receiving the equipment.
Charles got it installed in a little under an hour, and it works a charm. Great job, great experience, and one happy customer here.
The next time I need some audio work done to the car, Charles is the first person I’ll think of.
